Motel 6-Idaho Falls, ID - Snake River

Very upscale for a Motel6. Even had free coffee in the lobby and truck parking nearby.

This property offered parking for large U-Haul and other trucks which didn't require backing up or turning around. The rooms are very clean. This facility is very close to plenty of dining options.

Okay stay. Dog friendly

Everything was perfect except no breakfast. However, they did serve coffee, tea, and hot chocolate.

Staff is great! The hotel needs to make clear that it has 2 floors and NO ELEVATOR. So, if you have mobility issues (even if you are just older and have a hard time with stairs), you need to book an ADA room to get on the first floor.

Nice clean inside room, we stayed one night on our way to Yellowstone. Wish they would have at least offered a continental breakfast.

No clock or coffee maker in room which is inconvenient since coffee in lobby is 6 am to noon only. If want coffee later in day have to go elsewhere. Maybe the Shilo Inn down the street??

I would have never known this was a motel 6. By far the nicest, cleanest location and most profession staff at any I have seen in North America. Well done.

The staff were helpful but the facility wasn’t especially clean. I have a huge problem with bathrooms not being properly cleaned! The facility was very noisy with dogs barking and just people coming and going all night long.

Not conveniently located, noisy with slamming doors late into the night. No amenities to speak of, no extra blankets (54 degrees at night). Old old furniture. Great TV selections.

Overall pretty clean. Front desk was a bit snappy. They were full, and didn't get the room update we had placed with Expedia a few weeks before. We were short 1 bed. All hotels full for move-in day. No extra blankets, no roll away bed, no other rooms available. Stuff happens, but please be polite about it. No shampoo in the bathroom - but the vending machine had some, room was tiny. Overall okay. Bed was comfortable and clean.

Only thing I didn’t like is a mattresses are way too hard

We've stayed at this property several times throughout the years and it's always been a good experience until our most recent trip. The bed in the premium room wasn't as comfortable as the premium room we stayed in a few weeks prior. Additionally, the HVAC system was fairly loud when it was running at night. This is a good place to stay with easy freeway access and decent rooms, this visit just wasn't as good as prior visits. The reason I'm unhappy is the sudden lack of "Do Not Disturb" signs for the door and the fact that I was woken up and harassed about whether I was planning on checking out on our final day at 9am by the housekeeping staff. Check out is at 11am, so I don't understand why I was asked this, as I still had plenty of time to check out.

The motel was very good for a Motel 6. I would stay their again, however, the Internet service was the worst I have ever experienced. Terribly, terribly, slow. If you must get work done via the Internet, I would not recommend this motel. TV selections were very poor, unless you want to pay for anything worth watching besides old Wells Fargo TV series. For somewhere to stay overnight without breaking the bank, it was not too bad.

Small square pillows in bed. Asked for more pillows and was very reluctantly given 2 larger pillows. Ice machine was broken Had a kitchenette (microwave/fridge/sink), but no dishes or cutlery. Would be nice if they could provide just a few dishes. Could be handed out at front desk with a refundable deposit once returned. Otherwise decent place for the price

For the price, the property delivers for a one night, just passing through, trip. Front desk staff were pleasant, the room was small, but clean and recently renovated. No carpets, just a nice clean floor where you don't have to worry about what's in the carpet. As it's a budget hotel, there are no extras, just hand soap. It's in an industrial type area, so even though you can walk to a couple of restaurants, you probably wouldn't.

Needed an affordable night since we were coming in late and leaving early. My go to stays are Motel 6 for such stays. I was pleasantly surprised that the doors were all inside. Room was small but clean and comfortable. Service desk lady was very sweet.

Check in was professional and friendly! Asked for ground floor and close to a door as our senior dog can’t do stairs. Very accommodating.

The front desk clerk was ok at check in but not the most professional the rest of the stay. Whenever we went to the front desk with a question or passed by she had earbuds on or was on her Nintendo switch. Starting around 9:30 the room above us becane very noisy and it literally sounded like they were bowling it was so loud. We could also hear kids screaming. After half an hour of this I went to the front desk and reported it. She said she would talk to them. 15 mins passed and nothing had changed. We phoned the front desk and she said she would talk to them again. We waited half an hour, no change, so we called her again. She said she would go and talk to them. It was quiet for half an hour and then it started all over again. We phoned again and she said want do you want me to do about it I have already talked to them. Half an hour later, 2 hours since we started this and 11:30 she called and said we could have another room or she could give them another room. We choose them having another room as we were trying to go to sleep. Apparently this never happened as the noise went on periodically for the next few hours. What a terrible night and horrible service. Would never stay here again or recommend!

Single female traveler. Second time staying at this location. Safe and close to town. Relatively quiet but you are close to the interstate. Great buy for the price!

I stopped staying at Motel 6 years ago due to safety and health concerns. This location does it right though. Clean, safe, and conveniently located.

Check in was fast, room was clean. Beds were ok. It’s right next to the river, but an onramp surrounds the property so you can’t walk to it or see it and that makes for a lot of traffic noise. It’s not too far to drive to the river walk and a few restaurants though.

We stayed one night. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Although no breakfast at this property they did provide coffee, tea and hot chocolate in the lobby which was great! Close to restaurants and other conveniences.

Great one-night stay. Small clean room with stripped down amenities (no fridge, no coffee maker, no hairdryer) but perfect for our needs. Friendly staff and nice service. Coffee and tea in lobby. Walking distance to Jakers, a fantastic steak house.
