Hotel is very convenience located right on the main street, Gran Via, but lacks of amenities or/and comfort, I had the two single beds room, mattresses were terrible wore up and putting them together was almost impossible. No coffee maker or refrigerator which staying for three days was very inconvenience, other than that everything was great fantastic, i took the bus a couple of time and bus stop was right in front of the hotel a few steps from the hotel door. we also enjoyed the buffet for ten euros each person and it was well worth it.

This hotel was not worth the more than $200 a night it cost to stay here. The quality is very basic. There was one very tiny, very slow elevator which cleaning staff had to use also to work. So expect loong dailys using it to get up to your room. Luckily my son and I were on the 3rd floor so most times we just opted to walk three flights up or down. The rooms were generally okay. No fridge so if you’re there for more than a day and want to buy water be able to drink it warm. AC didn’t really work and the room became warm and stuffy at night. I requested two twin beds since it was my son and I and technically thats what I got, two twin beds pressed together so no separation between us. My bed was very wobbly and many times I worried it would break as I shifted on it or gettin in or out of it. The bathroom was very tiny, so much that the shower door could not cover the length of the shower so there was no way to shower without wetting the sink and floor. Best thing about was the location. Central and very walkable. Unfortunately at this price range there dont appear to be many better options in Madrid as everything is over priced. So, if you want to feel like you're getting what you paid for, skip this place and go ahead and drop $300 or more a night on a better hotel.

The location of the property is excellent. The facilities are a bit old, the room small but functional. What I really didn’t like was that there was no coffee or tea available in the room and their room service didn’t include it. That is a super basic amenity.

Está en el mero centro de Madrid, tiene una estación de metro prácticamente a un lado, muchos restaurantes y atracciones de la ciudad muy cerca. Lo único malo son los elevadores, tienen dos para todo el edificio y en uno de ellos sólo caben dos personas sin las maletas y el otro no es que tenga mucho espacio que digamos, si llevas prisa es mejor usar las escaleras. Por lo demás el staff es muy amable, llegamos como 3 o 4 horas antes del check in y nuestro cuarto ya estaba listo, no es garantía de que te vaya a suceder a ti, quizá nosotros tuvimos suerte pero fue un buen detalle considerando que nuestro vuelo llegó muy temprano en la mañana.

La ubicación está muy buena y el personal amable, la habitación estaba bien aunque las camas no son cómodas, el baño tenía limo negro en la bañera y la ducha casi al caerse de la pared. Ruidos de construcción alrededor desde las 7 am, el piso ruidoso, igual que escuchábamos las pisadas del piso superior. Deben subir un poco la calidad ya que el precio lo amerita.

Our flight was cancelled and we had to book a hotel last minute. We have stayed at Melia hotels before so I assumed this one would be about the same standard. Boy was I wrong. This hotel was disgusting. The beds were completely worn out and the mattresses were filthy. The room had stains on the walls and the furniture was worn out beyond belief. There was a vomit stain on the side of the boxspring. The only positive was that there was no sign of bedbugs One star at best.

The hotel is perfectly located, they have breakfast service included which is a plus. The icky complain I have is the beds. The beds were so uncomfortable, the mattress was so thin that one could feel the frame, it was so hard that my hips are still hurting. Those mattresses need replacement ASAP

El hotel cuenta con aire acondicionado pero nos dijeron que en esta temporada no se prendía y hacía demasiado calor, a las 6 de la mañana empezaron a hacer trabajos de construcción en otros cuartos así que te despiertan desde las 6 am se supone que son para descansar, el cuarto que había reservado era una cama matrimonial y solo tenían uno de dos camas individuales, por esas cosas no volvería

The hotel is very well situated on Gran Via, which is the main street in the heart of Madrid, but like other hotels in capital cities, the rooms are quite small and there's not much room. Our standard room had a double bed, a desk and chair and a wardrobe. There were bedside drawers so there was space to unpack your clothes. The bathroom was large, with a ridiculously oversized counter top with 2 sinks. This would have been lovely, however this was so large it barely left enough room to use the toilet, or get into the bath to have a shower. Also the hand soap dispenser was not over the counter, so every time you used it, it dripped on the floor. The breakfast was good - continental style with a decent selection of breads and pastries, yoghurts and fruit, cheeses and cold meats and a hot counter with eggs, spanish omelette, croquettes and bacon - overall a good breakfast experience. One thing that did annoy me was that the room was listed with Air Conditioning, however this did not work. When we queried this with the Reception, they said it wasn't switched on for the whole hotel because it wasn't warm enough outside yet - we were hot - it was 20 degrees outside. So, they gave us a freestanding fan, which did move the air around a bit, and cooled the room at night.

checking-in was smoothly with the help of evening shift clerk( I forgot her name ). Location is excellent, it is right on Gran Via shopping street. It’s not quiet at night because room 606, 607 have the view of Gran via street. You can hear the police sirens and drunk people screaming through the night, especially Saturday. Breakfast was good, not delicious like other hotel I have stayed in Barcelona. Generally, good hotel with excellent location if you stay in the rooms not look out the street. I like the strong water pressure here. The rooms are spacious for 2 people.

I asked for an upgrade as Melia website was down and by signing up you could get a room upgrade. However, the front desk rep gave us the tiniest room call it a micro room. There is no sitting area in the lobby, just a building. We could hardly get our luggage around the bed in the room. The room AC in the hotel was out for 2 out of the three day in our stay. When I asked front desk for some concession on price paid, he refused. His answer is outside is cold. Not sure what that has to do with room temperature being over 80 degrees. Way overpriced for the room and hotel and would never stay at this hotel.

Está en el mero centro de Madrid, tiene una estación de metro prácticamente a un lado, muchos restaurantes y atracciones de la ciudad muy cerca. Lo único malo son los elevadores, tienen dos para todo el edificio y en uno de ellos sólo caben dos personas sin las maletas y el otro no es que tenga mucho espacio que digamos, si llevas prisa es mejor usar las escaleras. Por lo demás el staff es muy amable, llegamos como 3 o 4 horas antes del check in y nuestro cuarto ya estaba listo, no es garantía de que te vaya a suceder a ti, quizá nosotros tuvimos suerte pero fue un buen detalle considerando que nuestro vuelo llegó muy temprano en la mañana.

checking-in was smoothly with the help of evening shift clerk( I forgot her name ). Location is excellent, it is right on Gran Via shopping street. It’s not quiet at night because room 606, 607 have the view of Gran via street. You can hear the police sirens and drunk people screaming through the night, especially Saturday. Breakfast was good, not delicious like other hotel I have stayed in Barcelona. Generally, good hotel with excellent location if you stay in the rooms not look out the street. I like the strong water pressure here. The rooms are spacious for 2 people.

Hotel com excelente localização. Inicio da Gran Via, ao lado do Metro. Otimo atendimento. Excelente cafe da manhã. Quarto e banheiro bom tamanho. Unica observacao é que a cama poderia ser Queen, pela qualidade do hotel, em vez de casal...podem melhorar nesse detalhe. No mais, recomendo e voltarei.

The staff was very helpful, very willing to assist. The location is beyond excellent you take three steps in downtown Madrid everything is available to you. In our seven day trip we say at three different hotels mainly because of where we’re traveling to. our first night was at this hotel. and we regret not coming back to the hotel. The Staff was very helpful and nice. The room clean and the breakfast good. Also the AC work perfectly. I was a little disappointed that the rooms don't have a mini refrigerator.
