Fuji View Hotel

Super Hotel, toller Spa, toller Blick, gutes Frühstück.Leider kann man Fahrräder nur für 3 Stunden ausleihen und nicht für 1 Tag. Das reicht nirgends hin.

Das Hotel hält, was der Name verspricht: wir hatten einen tollen Blick auf den Mount Fuji vom Hotel aus. Toll war auch das Shuttle, welches einen vom Bus-/Bahnhof kostenlos zum Hotel und wieder zurück bringt! Das Onsen im Hotel und auch das Frühstück waren gut. Wir haben uns morgens für 3 Stunden Fahrräder geliehen und sind schon früh zum Arakayama Sengen Schrein gefahren, bevor die ganzen Menschenmassen eintreffen. Insgesamt hat uns das Hotel und die Umgebung super gefallen und wir hätten auch gerne noch eine Nacht mehr dort verbracht.

The onsen was amazing. The staff and service was great. The amenities like golf and tennis were not taken care of and were a waste of money.

Die Lage ist sehr schön, wenn auch die Zimmer mit Fuji Blick leider auf den Parkplatz gerichtet sind, was im unteren Stockwerk sehr störend ist. Es scheint ein Busrundreisenhotel mit vielen Gruppen zu sein. Morgens über eine Stunde Busgeräusche, die den Motor laufen lassen, zur Aufwachzeit. Auch kann der winzige Balkon kaum genutzt werden, keine Bestuhlung etc. Auch kann nicht bei offenem Fenster geschlafen werden, da es kein Fliegenschutzgitter gibt (in jeder anderen Unterkunft in Japan vorhanden). Frühstück war gut, aber nichts besonderes im Vergleich zu anderen deutlich günstigeren Unterkünften. Onsen leider für die Menge an Gästen zu klein. Reinigung im Onsen ungenügend. Ich wollte abends in den Onsen, aber das Wasser war stark verschmutzt im Aussenbereich und alles überfüllt. Ich bin wieder gegangen und morgens vor dem Frühstück wieder hin, da ich dachte, das der Onsen zwischendurch gereinigt wird. Leider Fehlanzeige. Draussen alles voller Fliegen und Schmutz, innen alles voller Haare... traurig. Haben wir in keinem anderen unserer 8 anderen Hotels unserer Japanreise erlebt. Zimmer war sehr in die Jahre gekommen mit einem wirklich fürchterlichen Bad, Waschbecken so tief, wie in der Kita für die Kinder, Toilette so klein, dass man sich kaum hinsetzen konnte. Insgesamt wie in einer Jugendherberge, nur halt für 300 Euro die Nacht. Aber es war sauber! Auch die Zimmermädchen waren sehr sehr freundlich! Hier bezahlt man einzig und allein die Lage am Fuji mit Fujiblick.

What a lovely place to enjoy Fuji views and beautiful surroundings at Lake Kawaguchi. We had a wonderful stay. Didn’t have a car so used the shuttle daily to get to town and back. Also the green line bus that stops just a block or so away. The Onsen is delightful. Breakfast buffet is sumptuous - and recommended since there are almost no shops or restaurants nearby. The observation room was perfect for relaxing and viewing Mt Fuji. Room was small but comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. Just a wonderful place to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Highly recommended.

This hotel has a beautiful view, lovely breakfast and a really nice Onsen with an outdoor sauna pool and they have transportation to town but it's quite a long walk back from town. You either need a car or you need to take their bus

On a clear day, the observation lounges on the sixth floor offer unsurpassed views of Fujisan!

Loved the Onsen, food very expensive compared to other local restaurants. Grounds looking tired and areas not usable. The Green bus runs and stops just outside making it easy to get on the tourist buses.

This hotel does not seem to have been renovated in a long time. It's dated and does not feel very clean. The traditional style room was beautiful and spacious, but our sleep was uncomfortable. We were so fortunate that the weather was cooperative during our stay. We opted for a fuji-view room and we had an outstanding view. Paying for this upgrade is a gamble, but was well worth it for us. We had a car, so the location was great!

Overall experience were good. Like the onsen, but bed is too hard for us as we nit use to very thin mattress. We have not very pleasure check out experience. The front desk called us three times for the 15 minutes late. Check out time is very stiff at 11:00am sharp.

This hotel is dated but very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast and the Onsen were very nice.

Clean, spacious room with amazing view of Mt Fuji from a balcony. It’s giving 70s but I don’t mind it. You can walk around the property and enjoy nearby beautiful surroundings. Staffs are helpful and friendly

This hotel has excellent view and convenient to go to Mt. Fuji tourist attractions and drive to the 5th station for a hike or just the view of Mt. Fuji. The lake also has a nice path to walk and the hotel has good breakfast. There are many restaurants nearby with a short drive. The hotel is very clean and the wifi works well.

Buffet dinner is decline upon request due to limited space. I arrived at the hotel at 7pm and nothing is open around the area. The room I reserved is Fuji view but can’t see anything not because of weather. Not recommend at all.

Room is very big

The view was absolutely outstanding. The staff are friendly, from the shuttle driver to the front desk staff to the wait staff - highly recommend including breakfast in your booking. The rooms however are outdated but when you have a hotel onsen and that mountain view, you can't ask for anything else. Walking distance to 7-11 and for a walk around the Lake.

This hotel back in the day would have been THE place to come. The actual hotel is looking a little tired and crying for a refurb. However the views are to die to for. The front of house and waiters are excellent and can’t do enough for you. Housekeeping on the other hand not so much, we stayed 2 nights and all they did was replace towels and bottles of water, left our dirty glasses so we had to rinse out. I don’t need clean towels every day, and when possible reuse. But I would expect my bed to be made up. I know their world problems, but it wasn’t cheap and I would expect a made up room. Breakfast OK due to it not being warm, sausages bacon, potatoes all cold. Would I stay here again 100% just for the view

Simply amazing! We booked the Fuji View room and it didn't disappoint. Rooms are very comfortable and you have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Breakfast buffet was also a good experience with such a wide choice.

The best part of the hotel is to wake up in the morning and look out your window to view Mt. Fuji. The hotel is dated, but has been tastefully updated over the years.

Very clean. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Would have preferred a conventional bed as opposed to a futon on the floor. Overall a very nice experience. Awesome view of Mt Fuji.

Our experience at Fuji View Hotel was incredible! The staff were so friendly and able to give us good dinner recommendations when asked. The rooms were spacious and very clean.

Excellent hotel. Besides the room being so clean and comfortable , the latest check in was at midnight and I called right before and let them know that their was a delay with the flight and train that they allowed me to check in at 12:30am. I am forever grateful for making an exception and will be staying here again. Last but not least, the view of Mount Fuji was incredible. 10/10

I booked two rooms. One had breakfast included and apparently the other didn’t, however my check- in receipt had both rooms included. They give you a summary paper upon arrival with keys detailing your stay. When we were charged- I told it was their mistake, yet still charged me. In light of this, they should have waived the charge.

The staff are exceptional : genuine and respectful. The staff welcomes us every year when we return. After we climb the Mt Fuji and unable to walk further from our car to the main door, the staff will greet us from afar and help us with the luggage’s, not for tips but for their professionalism and values they cherish much.

Beautiful hotel and area. The only thing was the isolation-not walkable to open restaurants in less than 25 minutes. Shuttle runs every hour. Taxi back after 745 pm when the shuttle ends for the night. The buses also work once you get the routine Beautiful views of Mt Fuji. The lake views also pretty Dinner was nice/pricey. Breakfast was also good.

Beautiful location with stunning view of Mount Fuji. It's quiet and tranquil with lovely walks alongside the lake. It is a bit of a way to Kawaguchiko station where all the sightseeing buses start and end but the hotel has a free shuttle there and it's super busy in the town so it's great to come back to the peace and tranquility. Book in advance for the hotel restaurant.

Lovely hotel with very nice gardens, and stunning views of Mount Fuji from the 6th floor panoramic lounge. A little out of Kawaguchiko but a regular hotel shuttle is provided. Would highly recommend a stay here if visiting this area.

Hotel is away from the hustle and bustle of Kawaguchiko. It is more convenient if you’re driving as the carpark is big enough. Staff are really helpful and polite and speaks good English. View of Mount Fuji is fantastic from the room. Onsen is also lovely and has an indoor jacuzzi and an outdoor bath.

The hotel itself is nice and we had the best view of Mt Fuji. But it is a long way from anywhere. There is a shuttle bus but it only goes each hour. You can get a taxi as an alternative but that adds up after a while.

Onsen très agréable dont un bain à l'extérieur, nous avons diné qu'un seul soir au restaurant de l'hôtel car il est assez cher, par contre le restaurant Nabeya situé à 200m de l'hôtel est à faire, personnel très accueillant, grande boutique de cadeaux dans le hall, vue exceptionnelle sur le Fuji depuis le dernier étage, et de la salle du PDJ, un petit point faible; la décoration qui date un peu

We stayed here for two nights as part of our honeymoon trip to Japan. We loved the views of mount fuji from our bedroom and waking up to a delightful traditional breakfast while looking at fuji dressed with a yukata. The bus offered to transport us back and forth from the station was also very useful and made our journey easier

First and foremost, THE VIEW! Breathtaking scenes of Mt. Fuji and the surrounding lake and mountains are worth staying here. Second, the room was ample, comfortable, and nicely equipped. Great value, especially when compared to hotels in larger cities of Japan. The onsen and grounds are nice and the staff are courteous, professional and efficient. Less impressive was the dinner and we missed breakfast because last entry is 30 minutes before service ends, so we were no longer able to get a table. Overall, we greatly enjoyed our stay and would likely return. A plus for us is that is was a little off the area overcrowded by tourists and public transportation.

This is a lovely hotel near the lake. Great views of Mount Fuji as the name suggests with a "panorama lounge" for viewing. Unfortunately at sunrise the windows were covered with moisture which impeded the view. The Onsen was great and not busy, at least in the evening. I took the buffet breakfast and enjoyed it. A very nice mixture of food andba great view in the dining room. I arrived in the late afternoon and was disappointed that the only meal available was the traditional Japanese buffet for about $100. The nearby restaurant was closed and the only other option was to take the shttlebus back to town and the take a taxi or walk back. I use a cpap machine and was very surprised and a bit annoyed that there was no electrical outlet near the bed. The good far outweighed the bad but there were a couple of places that could use some improvement.
