Amazingly luxurious (at a price). Be careful of occupying a room over the outdoor restaurant as it can have some noisy guests dining as late as 11.30p.m. Not ideal if you want any early night. Otherwise the staff and accommodation are hard to beat for luxury and attentiveness. The Spa facilities are very good and the walking around the hotel grounds beautiful , but quite remote for short explorations.

Booked my partner to do a four day trip with his daughter. He now insists we go back for a romantic couples weekend. According to both of them, the hotel is stunning. Food was amazing. Lots of activities on the resort. Wonderful spa and that says a lot since my partner generally finds hotel spas overpriced and underwhelming. They both came back boasting about the resort and looking very refreshed.

The most magical place I've been to! The hotel is an old estate and they have redone it beautifully. The staff was first class, the food delicious and there were so many activities to sign up for! Spa was impressive with the hydrotherapy, cold plunge and different saunas! We will definitely go back!!

Overall a lovely stay but for over $1,000 a night we expected the service to been better. +++ excursions (paid additional) were super fun. Did a full day of canyoning which was one of the highlights of our entire Lisbon trip. Super fun and our guide even brought homemade food to us. ++ pool was wonderful but silent so we brought a small speaker and other guests and staff thanked us for adding a nice pool “vibe” — service examples Dinner we waited about 20 minutes for our first drink. Appetizers came first then had to flag the team down to order more. It was late and not busy. One of the team members said he would get us an iron to our room which never came. Our lunch for canyoning was requested to be vegetarian. The recreation guide kindly found me the day before to confirm our vegetarian request. The morning of our guide checked the boxes before leaving and they were both meat sandwiches 😑 Then we had to wait for new lunches and we still received one meat one veggie. Thankfully our guide surprised us with homemade Portugal meal! I’d consider staying again if I could get a deal/normal rate or go in off season.

This was the absolute best resort I’ve ever experienced! From the moment I walked into the lobby, the staff were amazing. The food was phenomenal. The grounds were gorgeous. The room was just perfection. Would highly recommend!!!

The service at this hotel was unparallel. I needed a medication and they sent a driver to the pharmacy to pick it up and bring it back to the hotel. I also needed hiking boots and they went to a hiking shoe store bought me my size got them on sale and brought them to the hotel. I’ve never experienced such incredible service before at a hotel.
