This is a very modern Holiday Inn with nice communal areas; cafe/bar, restaurant, reception desk, etc. There is a large car park. Our room was a good size and very clean and had air conditioning, an iron, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. There is an ice machine near reception and a cold drink vending machine. Breakfast is buffet style and has plenty of choice from cereal and pastries to cooked options (eggs, hash browns, beans, tomatoes, sausages (veggie on request), bacon, etc.) and a coffee machine and selection of teas and juice. The staff were all really friendly and helpful and all areas of the hotel that we used were very clean. I would definitely use this hotel again and would recommend it to others.

Stayed 1 night just before Christmas. We asked for a room away from the lift as we had a dog, and got a room right at the end of the corrider which was perfect. Hotel room was big, clean, bed was comfy with choice of hard or soft pillows. Breakfast was good and included in the price, the dog can sit in the bar area with you while you eat, although tables are very low there. There are grass areas around the hotel for the dog, or you can do a nice walk down the canal about 20mins. Not many hotels are truely dog friendly but this really was - we'll definitely return!

Fantastic stay for myself, husband, teenage daughter and our dog. First time staying at a Holiday Inn Express and won’t be our last. Great location, lots of parking spaces and dog friendly, which is ideal for us. The staff were great, from staff on reception, staff on breakfast, gentleman on the bar at night, cleaning staff, all were fantastic - well done - you are all a credit to Holiday Inn. Nothing was too much trouble and every member of staff we came in contact with, were so friendly and happy, not what you find these days! Hotel was lovely, clean and spacious, both inside and out. Breakfast had everything, from cereal, fresh fruit, croissants/muffins, to full English with tea, coffee etc which is included in your room price. Meals at night were also excellent in both taste and value for money. Sorry to leave, thanks for having us.

I’ve been using well known competitors for 30 years. This was my first time in a Holiday Inn. I will NEVER use TL again. There is no comparison. Room is larger, spotless, has A/C, excellent shower, and FULL COMPLIMENTARY breakfast!! It’s very well worth the extra £10. A real winner.

Reception staff and waiting staff were really nice and helpful. Lovely bed. Unfortunately the room maid hadn't a clue about how to make a bed - the bottom sheet wasn't tucked in and the duvet cover was only half on the duvet. Very uncomfortable. Breakfast was very nice indeed.

This is a very good hotel. Extremely clean, fresh bedding, clean room and good breakfast that is inclusive of the price. I have stayed hear several times but this is the first time i have stayed where the room backs on to the motorway. The windows are not double glazed so there was a constant noise of motorway traffic throughout the night. These rooms need the windows updating. If it were not for this issue, this is a faultless hotel

Had a lovely night's sleep, comfortable and modern room with everything needed. Modern bathroom with large shower cubicle. Quiet, calm and relaxed. Only let down was the breakfast. Got there just after 9am and there were no sausages, no beans , no eggs and no hash browns. Asked staff who then said no sausages left for that day and had to stand and wait on other items. Toast then cold and items came out half cooked. Bit stressful and ruined what was a nice stay.

We booked a double room and when arrived, we were allocated a triple room which meant there was no chair and desk in the room to allow me to do some work. After asking for an alternative room, I was told that this couldnt be accommodated. Nobody on reception in the morning at check out either

Ideal place to stay in Burnley: there is limited options for business travellers staying around Burnley. This has become my place to stay if in the area why? I dont often use corporate hotels but on this occasion i did. Pleasantly surprised. Staff were very friendly and the service was very good. My room was basic but more than sufficient for a one night stay. Hygiene was very good. I had dinner and breakfast in the hotel and again staff were great as was the food. Would I stay here again ? Yes i would.

Great location for what I required from this trip. Hotel bright, clean and tidy, food and beverages not outrageously priced and a damn good breakfast that set me up for the day. Would totally recommend for short stay business trips.

Friendly staff all round especially the Receptionist.who checked us in (sorry-- I have forgotten her name) Room very comfortable and spotlessly clean.Dinner was excellent although menu was a little restricted. A few healthier choices involving Salad would have been welcome. Breakfast exceeded expectations as we thought the buffet would be more like a continental breakfast but in fact included bacon,scrambled eggs,sausage,tomato and hash browns. Well done!!
