La verdad es que la cadena nos gusta mucho, sin embargo en esta ocasión percibimos un olor desagradable en algunos momentos y en determinados espacios. Estuvimos dos veces y esto sucedió en el baño principalmente. Otra cosa es que la entrada al Hotel no está señalizada y en las noches es sumamente oscura la fachada. Gracias

Hotel stay front in the Sao Miguel Market. Bathroom very, very clean. Excellent shower. Good towels and sheets/ pilows etc. No parking. My family have four people (2 CHD). Stores, Carrefour Express ( next to) and good restaurants there're low distance. We loved it.

Overall, this was a great hotel. The hotel is located in a very central area of Madrid (directly in front of Plaza Mayor and Mercado San Miguel) which made it very easy to get around. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We communicated an issue with our AC in the room and it was fixed right away. The facilities are a little run down but still very clean. Would recommend to all.

Great service, decent breakfast, amazing location. One elevator was broken which slowed us down a little but the place was great. The view from the balcony was amazing, the AC worked, the kettle worked. Would absolutely stay there again.

This was a nice little hotel. The room was good, bathroom lovely. Very good breakfast buffet. And a very helpful staff. Only negatives, our bathroom sink did not drain well, but we were hardly in our room so we did not call it in. The room could use an update; Whatever the scent they have in the lobby area, around elevator, is very, very strong and not a great scent. All in all however, we would stay here again. Excellent location across Plaza Mayor! Bring your electric converter if coming from the USA.

I have stayed in a variety of places all over the world but this was the absolute worst. The room was filthy. Dust and dirt on walls and along base board. Black mold in the bathroom. Not certain the linens were clean but we were exhausted so we had no choice to try to find a different place after long international travel. The very worst part was my daughter left her passport. We realized it 20 minutes after we checked out. We immediate called to see if someone could search for it. Initially they said we had to wait for housekeeping to come on duty. We missed our flight. Housekeeping came on duty 2 hours later. We returned to hotel to wait for house keeping. Front desk said “no it’s not there”. We asked if we could search the room ourselves and they refused to allow us. They said another guest had already checked in which we knew wasn’t true because housekeeping had just arrived. Needless to say we got stranded in Madrid for 2 days until the embassy could help us. DO NOT USE THIS HOTEL

I’m not sure where the others reviewers stayed. Not only is it worn and torn and stained, but it’s filthy. Every surface is dirty, nicked, or caked in old dirt. The Axe Body Spray fragrance pumped into the building is an attempt to hide the smell of toilets and mustiness. We tried to cancel, but neither Expedia nor the hotel would grant a refund. I’m wondering how on earth the other positive reviews were submitted. Expedia can not be verifying the reviews. We checked in late, but should’ve moved.

This hotel is centrally located next to Plaza Mayor, where there are many dining and shopping options. Walking distance to the Royal Palace and other historical sites. The rooms were spacious with very comfortable bedding. Bathrooms have good showers. Staff were helpful and courteous. There was a bit of noise coming from the streets due to its central location. But overall we had a great stay!

Overall a very good stay in Madrid at the Petit Palace Plaza Mayor. The hotel location is superb. It is right across the road from the Mercado de San Miguel, famous for its great tapas and food hall in general, as well as being less than 100 metres from the Plaza Mayor. The Plaza del Sol is also a few minutes walk away. We did not have breakfast in the hotel but chose to soak up the Madrid lifestyle by having breakfast in a local cake bakery with tables inside, which was very traditional and nice (El Riojano), a fre minutes walk outside the hotel towards the Plaza del Sol. The hotel itself at first was a big disappointment as we arrived late and were placed in room 201, which was a very ‘tired’ room, very noisy as all the rooms seem to overlook the Calle Mayor, the main road in front of the hotel, and the first morning we flooded the 2nd bathroom floor as the water did not drain properly. This was a disabled access room, so with two bathroom, but really very tired and noisy. The double bed was also very noisy (creaking). The next morning, we asked to change room, to a higher floor and luckily were given 601, the same room but on the last-but-one floor. A world apart! The view was fantastic, a huge amount quieter and also much less ‘tired’ and worn. This really made the difference for us, adding 1-2 stars on the overall stay. We stayed in a 4 bed room, so with one double bed and two bunk beds. The top bunk is not for children too young a little tricky to get up/down.

I didnt like that i wasnt able to get an early check in...when u fly 8 hours and arrive early morning you're tired and hot feom 37 degree weather....and being told to go shop or go eat and come back later was disappointing...no one wants to shop and eat tired and hot and trying to orient yourself in a new city. Location was amazing once i was able to sleep.

What a delightful find!!! Right in the center of things-on Calle Mayor-but set back and quiet. Walking distance to most attractions and the metro. Room was nice-spacious and an awesome separate bathroom. Staff was awesome-front desk, breakfast and housekeeping. And a great breakfast buffet. I cannot recommend this property more. Definitely my go to when in Madrid!

The front staff are very helping. I lost my cellphone in the taxi. The front desk staff helped me communicate with the taxi driver and got me cellphone back. I am very grateful. The hotel is in the perfect location close to all restaurants and attractions. Also there is a grocery store right next to the hotel making us very convenient to have local fresh fruits and other daily needs.
The front staff are very helping. I lost my cellphone in the taxi. The front desk staff helped me communicate with the taxi driver and got me cellphone back. I am very grateful. The hotel is in the perfect location close to all restaurants and attractions. Also there is a grocery store right next to the hotel making us very convenient to have local fresh fruits and other daily needs.

I have stayed in a variety of places all over the world but this was the absolute worst. The room was filthy. Dust and dirt on walls and along base board. Black mold in the bathroom. Not certain the linens were clean but we were exhausted so we had no choice to try to find a different place after long international travel. The very worst part was my daughter left her passport. We realized it 20 minutes after we checked out. We immediate called to see if someone could search for it. Initially they said we had to wait for housekeeping to come on duty. We missed our flight. Housekeeping came on duty 2 hours later. We returned to hotel to wait for house keeping. Front desk said “no it’s not there”. We asked if we could search the room ourselves and they refused to allow us. They said another guest had already checked in which we knew wasn’t true because housekeeping had just arrived. Needless to say we got stranded in Madrid for 2 days until the embassy could help us. DO NOT USE THIS HOTEL

Flight layover…. Luckily found the Petit Palace. Right from the start of the check in …was a professional entry thru the entire time. Amazing location. Walk out the door and there is the Plaza Mayor across the street. I stayed one night and extended for another two nights. ..7th floor is fantastic looking out towards the market and Plaza Mayor Ruben Colorado USA

This hotel is centrally located next to Plaza Mayor, where there are many dining and shopping options. Walking distance to the Royal Palace and other historical sites. The rooms were spacious with very comfortable bedding. Bathrooms have good showers. Staff were helpful and courteous. There was a bit of noise coming from the streets due to its central location. But overall we had a great stay!

Overall a very good stay in Madrid at the Petit Palace Plaza Mayor. The hotel location is superb. It is right across the road from the Mercado de San Miguel, famous for its great tapas and food hall in general, as well as being less than 100 metres from the Plaza Mayor. The Plaza del Sol is also a few minutes walk away. We did not have breakfast in the hotel but chose to soak up the Madrid lifestyle by having breakfast in a local cake bakery with tables inside, which was very traditional and nice (El Riojano), a fre minutes walk outside the hotel towards the Plaza del Sol. The hotel itself at first was a big disappointment as we arrived late and were placed in room 201, which was a very ‘tired’ room, very noisy as all the rooms seem to overlook the Calle Mayor, the main road in front of the hotel, and the first morning we flooded the 2nd bathroom floor as the water did not drain properly. This was a disabled access room, so with two bathroom, but really very tired and noisy. The double bed was also very noisy (creaking). The next morning, we asked to change room, to a higher floor and luckily were given 601, the same room but on the last-but-one floor. A world apart! The view was fantastic, a huge amount quieter and also much less ‘tired’ and worn. This really made the difference for us, adding 1-2 stars on the overall stay. We stayed in a 4 bed room, so with one double bed and two bunk beds. The top bunk is not for children too young a little tricky to get up/down.

Excelente localização, dá pra fazer muita coisa a pé. O hotel fica literalmente em frente ao mercado de san miguel. Ficamos na cobertura que tem uma vista linda da varanda.

Todo perfecto, sólo que deberían servir el desayuno más temprano ya que los viajeros queremos aprovechar al maximo los tiempos y si nos citan antes de las 8 am, nos tenemos que salir sin desayunar porque lo sirven a las 7:30... no alcqnzamos y ni yna manzana nos dejaron llevarnos... hubiera elegido alojamiento sin desayuno pues

Great location across from Plaza Mayor and Mercado de San Miguel. Very convenient. Got a family room with a bunk bed and terrace that was spacious and comfortable. Main complaints were strong scented cleaning products outside our room, could not get room temperature below 22C and no ice (except for a few tiny cubes by the entrance).
