Absolutely perfect in every way. Cannot praise this accomodation enough. We had two wonderful weeks here in Amble. Friendly and vibrant area. Lots to see and do. The bungalow was pristine. So warm and inviting with everything you need. Comfortable beds,super hot shower and a bath if you prefer. Garden was very private and secure.I just cannot fault this place and will be back as soon as we can. Lovely bungalow and a credit to Barbara. Spotless and located in Amble about 10 minutes from the harbour area. Parking is a bit tight as the property is on an estate road, but with the help of kind neighbours we managed our two cars absolutely fine. Would highly recommend and would happily book again if we returned to the area. 👍

The host provided a generous welcome pack for our arrival. This is the second time we've stayed at this property, and we will definitely be returning. The location is ideal for setting off to all the areas of interest that Northumberland has to offer. Just a short walk to Amble and the lovely harbour, with restaurants and little shops.

The property is in a good situation with the high street about 20 minutes walk. Great for dogs. To sum up ….we found it to be perfect and are already planning our third visit.

The property was well cared for both inside and out, with a lovely safe garden for sitting in and ideal for dogs, and it would be for children. The welcome pack was extremely generous and all communication from the owner was timely and kind. We had a lovely stay at Ariel House. The bungalow was beautifully clean and had everything we needed. Location was great, a short easy stroll down to the harbour and little beach. Also easy to drive to many different places of interest. Barbara was very easy to contact and very helpful. We had a lovely stay, thank you!

As soon as we walked into Arkle House we were impressed. The bunaglow was immaculate, and exactly as described. The welcome basket was a lovely treat, and the garden was perfect for us. Amble is a beautiful area, and buses are regular.We had much longer journey (from Kent) than we realised, but is was more than worth it!

Arkle definitely had the sparkle! Spotlessly clean, well equipped, very cosy, peaceful and a comfortable home from home. The welcome hamper was a wonderful touch, and very much appreciated. We only had a few days but thoroughly enjoyed our break, everything had been thought of and we will definitely return. Many thanks and 5 stars from us! Tony & Caroline 😁

It was a spacious and very nicely furnished bungalow.Everywhere was spotless and there were treats for the dog as well as adults.Barbara really thought about everything needed and more to make a really joyful and carefree stay. Everything worked. It was a 10 minute pleasant walk to the high street where there are cafes, super charity shops, food shops and boutiques. Harbour's at the end of the high street with bespoke shopping Shacks. Plenty eateries and really good fish and chips takeaways. The property is clean comfortably furnished particularly the beds, so many holiday let’s are let down by hard uncomfortable beds and sofas, but not Arkle House. The garden is properly dog friendly and is a great place to relax with a glass of wine. Would definitely return.

We loved it here. Good communication from the owners making it an easy check in. The cottage is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The garden is very safe and secure for dogs even for little escape artists like ours. Well located with lots of local amenities and shops in walking distance. A great base for exploring Northumberland. Can highly recommend.

Arkle House gave us a fabulous break. House was very clean and exactly as described. Hosts had excellent communication and the welcome pack was fab. The scones were delicious!! Highly recommended location in a quiet street. For anyone staying, would highly recommend food from the fish shack restaurant in the harbour village.

Place was clean and beautifully furnished, had pretty much everything we needed. The welcome pack was much appreciated and the information pack was very useful. I had an issue with the heating (totally user-error) and Barbara responded to me very quickly. The house is ideally located for touring round Northumberland.

Parking is a bit tight as the property is on an estate road, but with the help of kind neighbours we managed our two cars absolutely fine. Would highly recommend and would happily book again if we returned to the area. 👍

We had a lovely stay at Ariel House. The bungalow was beautifully clean and had everything we needed. Location was great, a short easy stroll down to the harbour and little beach. Also easy to drive to many different places of interest. Barbara was very easy to contact and very helpful. We had a lovely stay, thank you!

Arkle House is a beautiful bungalow. Spotlessly clean, with everything anyone would need. The garden is private and enclosed, situated in a very quiet area. The beds are very comfortable too. The host provided a generous welcome pack for our arrival. This is the second time we've stayed at this property, and we will definitely be returning. The location is ideal for setting off to all the areas of interest that Northumberland has to offer. Just a short walk to Amble and the lovely harbour, with restaurants and little shops.

Arkle House is a bungalow which has everything we look for in a relaxing holiday let. Comfy beds, 2 bathrooms, a garden, and a well equipped kitchen. The decor completes a perfect home. The property is in a good situation with the high street about 20 minutes walk. Great for dogs. To sum up ….we found it to be perfect and are already planning our third visit.

Absolutely perfect in every way. Cannot praise this accomodation enough. We had two wonderful weeks here in Amble. Friendly and vibrant area. Lots to see and do. The bungalow was pristine. So warm and inviting with everything you need. Comfortable beds,super hot shower and a bath if you prefer. Garden was very private and secure.I just cannot fault this place and will be back as soon as we can. As soon as we walked into Arkle House we were impressed. The bunaglow was immaculate, and exactly as described. The welcome basket was a lovely treat, and the garden was perfect for us. Amble is a beautiful area, and buses are regular.We had much longer journey (from Kent) than we realised, but is was more than worth it!

Recently returned from a short stay in Amble where the weather was sunny every day and the spotless accommodation we stayed in was so comprehensively equipped and was in fact excellent in every way. A welcoming basket of food and drink was a really nice gesture. We enjoyed some really nice meals at Lal Khazani in Shilbottle, the Horseshoes in Remington, the Masons Arms Warkworth and Rossini in Amble all of which we would readily eat at again. All in all a really nice stay made so enjoyable by the home from home standard of the accommodation and certainly a place to return to if holidaying in that part of the country again.
