Nothing has been up dated since the early 70's. You have to phone to get the staff to check you in or out. The stand behind a closed plexiglass counter that is locked. I felt like they were expecting a robbery at any minute. It made us feel unsafe. The elevator was falling apart. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean, which is the only reason i can rate it above 1 star.

In room smoking was permitted.

Room was clean. Bed was good. Refrigerator in room worked very well. Parking is tight. There is a turn to tight for a longer vehicle. Fence damage from people trying.!

I will say, you get what you pay for. This was one of the cheaper options for the weekend I selected, and being an enormous cheapskate, I'm pretty easy come, easy go. This put a bit of a push on that particular disposition. Positives: towels were clean and beautifully folded, shower was clean, room was at a perfect temperature and the cooling unit operated properly and quietly. So, for the negatives. Despite "No Smoking" signs being prominently displayed everywhere, EVERYWHERE smelled like an ashtray. There were ashtrays in the room, curiously. The smell hung in my suitcase, even after I came home. Other than that, everything seems to be rapidly deteriorating from a complete lack of maintenance. There's an abandoned pickup parked out front with trash in the bed, and I actually can appreciate its presence, as it alerts guests to what they can expect within the property. The sounds the elevator makes do not inspire confidence. When I turned on my light, the microwave sprang to life, dinging intermittently until I set the time. Again, you get what you pay for. This was an inexpensive option, but extrapolating from what I observed, I would avoid staying there again, simply as I believe more will go wrong between now and then.

Less expensive than other. Antique with very loose electrical outlets.

Parking was a little cramped on our side of the motel. Some outside doors were not operable so we had to walk around.

I already knew the area was safe and that's why I chose this hotel, because I've stayed at hotels in the area and I just needed an affordable, dog friendly place for the night. The check in process was quick and I was able to park right next to the lobby which was nice considering I had a decent amount of stuff to carry, with the dog on a leash. The elevator door was so small, I could barely fit through it with my things, which I thought was strange.There were no smoking signs printed and taped up everywhere, but the place smelled like a bar. I was happy to see there was a fridge and microwave in the room and that was very helpful. The bed was comfortable and the linens and towels were clean other than cigarette burns on the comforter cover. The room did not smell like smoke though. I was on the 3rd floor and opened up the windows to get some fresh air, and there wasn't a screen on one and when I went to close them in the evening, the one without the screen wouldn't close completely, and neither of them locked, which was unnerving. I tried to wash my hands and there was no hot water in the sink. When I went to take a shower after a long day of travel, there was no hot water there, like you could turn it to hot water and it just gurgled, and nothing came out. That was close to the most upsetting part. I did not contact the front desk because I was too exhausted to either move rooms or sit there while someone tried to fix it. Other than traffic noise, the room was pretty quiet

The hall smelled like cigarette smoke quite badly, but the room was ok. decent bed, pretty clean bathroom and liked the refrigerator and microwave. no shampoo

Old property. Elevator too small for luggage trolley. Room smelly and water faucet in sink doesn’t work properly.

The area was near a stream so I could sit and listen to the water. Property was run down and need a good update. I could smell stall cigarettes. Room was fairly clean just old stained carpet.

I stayed at the Boise Inn last weekend and noticed what looked like bug bites on Sunday. Yesterday my doctor diagnosed the bites as scabies. I contacted the hotel, they seemed uninterested after initially refuting my experience. The employee that spoke with me on the phone said I should contact the owner, then refused to give me the owner’s name, then hung up on me. This is a public health concern and I’m not sure who to report it to. I would also like a refund to help cover medical expenses.

Showerhead only had 1 good working hole for water to come out. Water would go from hot to cold throughout shower, blowdryer didnt work, sheets had stains, and even though i was in a non smoking room i couldnt tell because whole floor was smoky

The place stinks of cigarette smoke from the moment you walk.toward the front door. Our non-smoking room had a slight smell of cigarette smoke. The area did not feel safe.

The hotel smelled strongly of cigarettes.

people nice and helpful, barebones but clean accomodattions for barebones price... but expedia failed to send over the reservation... so expedia botched it.. but they checked me in early and honored the price...

Place was very dirty and i woke up with 11 bites from something on my forearm Never even think about staying at Boise Inn ever again

The toilet had a whole in the back the wallpaper was pulling from the walls. I asked for a 4am wake up call and it was 445 when I got my wake up call. I room was dirt as in stains. Paid for 2 nights stayed one cause it was nasty.

There were bed bugs on the mattress and the entire floor had a very strong cigarette odor

The place isn’t bad if your expectations are low. It could really use a facelift and updating.

It's so quiet it very a nice change from staying other places

The nice part about the property was its proximity to parks and the green belt. The bad part was how worn everything was, carpets looked like they needed cleaning. Lots of smoke smell in in the corridors, although they look like they are trying, with no smoking signs posted in many places. The place is just kind of run down.

Holes in the bathroom door covered with tape. Room seemed dingy and smelled bad. Witnessed 2 cops pull up quickly get out and were calling for a man, gloves on and hands on guns, somewhere below my room. Overall, very dissatisfied.

Excellent value. Comfortable bed. large room with two chairs and a recliner.

Pillows smelt of mildew and bathtub can barely fit a toddler but everything else was pleasant.

It was good. Just a room and a bed. It was comfortable and the host was nice.

Easily the worst hotel experience my family has had in our many roadtrips. The site was old, broken down, and neglected. There were stacks of discarded furniture and random machines in the hallways. Our Hotels.com price was $111 but they charged us $40 more for having 2 children. No shampoo or conditioner in the room and they refused to give us any so we had to drive to a grocery store. At first we thought we were in a slummy part of town but then we realized that the town was great, our hotel was the slum. Would never go back, wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Hallways smelled bad, had no power or hot shower in the morning. Staff was rude when I asked for a partial refund.
