Dusit Thani Manila

This was my third stay at this location in a year. The Executive Club King room is always luxurious great amenities like a pillow menu, the pantry breakfast is like visiting Epcot. Food from around the world always tasty and a great variety. Special details like the omlette bar, pastry station, and foods rom around Asia. The star though is the nightly cocktail hour at the Executive club lounge with high end cocktails, gourmet appetizer and an incredible view from the roof top bar. We always enjoy their spotless pool and their well appointed gym. Take advantage of the discount for hotel guests and visit the best spa in Manila Devarana Spa for massage treatments that are relaxing. The location of the hotel in the heart of Makati across the street from SM Mall makes dining out and shopping convienent. Finally the staff is always helpful, and caring. Can't recommend this hotel enough.

This hotel is my favorite hotel to stay in. Everything is within walking distance, the staff is awesome and the weather is always perfect. The only issue was the bar near the pool is only open on weekends. The last several visits, this was a great option; nevertheless, overall I love this hotel.

We stayed 2 nights and found the service exceptional. The rooms were clean and large enough for us to be comfortable. The breakfast was amazing and would highly recommend at least once during your stay. The only drawback was that much of their gym equipment was not working which limited our options

Property is very good. Pool is fine, bar area is good they have an area where you can enjoy a cigar and drink without any hassles. Very good hotel highly recommended.

Here is some feedback for my stay together with my colleagues. Well we enjoyed our stay again I think my 8th time. My colleagues and myself believe that the Dusit Thani is no longer up to the mark, the hotel is looking tired. My first time in the Dusit Club was 2006 and believe me it has not changed a bit since and now unfortunately is like the rest of the hotel especially the outside is looking really shabby and tired. I like to use the pool for example when I can and Jovan who is the lifeguard there is a real asset to the hotel, he is full of energy and nothing is too much trouble for him. So I did have a talk with him regarding TWO parasols which are totally ripped and looking very bad, I told him that they should be removed as they took away from the ambience of the area and made me feel that I was relaxing in a 2* hotel. Unfortunately he told me that despite informing his line manager he was not allowed to remove them. It would be better if they were not there at all. Also as explained to you ALL the Windows in the hotel appear to be filthy dirty, surely you can arrange a guy to come and clean these on a regular basis. Now I know the outside of the hotel is stone, but this is in poor condition and indeed I also pointed out to Jovan a large crack in the balcony which can be seen from the pool area. The property was well-maintained considering its age. The room cleaning was perhaps a bit thorough; it's advisable to use the "do not disturb" button. The room included a bidet, which was a pleasant amenity. The shower pressure was excellent, although hot water wasn't always available. The bed was somewhat soft, and the pillows were adequate. The living room furniture was dated, and the television lacked smart capabilities. There were two televisions in the room, primarily used for background noise. CNN was the only English-language channel with a clear signal. Fortunately, I had brought my tablet. The internet connection was satisfactory. An iron and ironing board were provided in the room. The club lounge, included with the suite, offered a selection of drinks, including alcoholic beverages. However, the food selection was limited, and I found nothing to my liking, though I admit to being a somewhat picky eater. Therefore, I felt the extra cost wasn't justified for me, but it might be worthwhile if you enjoy alcoholic beverages. The hotel is guest-friendly, and the pantry buffet offers a wide variety of food. Its convenient location next to SM Mall is a plus. For the price, it's a good hotel; upgrading the televisions would make it even better.

Ok this hotel is rated 5 star for a reason. I highly recommend it for its quality, the walkable shopping and dining areas, the staff who are amazing, the interior and cleanliness. I have upgraded to the club lounge access and I absolutely love its perks. The spa and gym and pool are amazing. I am currently here right now and am booked a total of 9 glorious days. So many things to do and the restaurants here are great. If you’re craving a midnight snack or meal they have a great room service option for that too. Whether you are here for business, family or solo self care time I guarantee you will enjoy your stay.

I have stayed many times at Dusit Thani Makati. On this occasion I paid for the upgrade Executive lounge. I have found that the fool available depends upon the night. The first of my 2-night booking, I did not like anything available, so I ate in the main restaurant. The pizza at Dusit is above average in my opinion. The food was awesome the 2nd night at the lounge. I will say that the food is probably good most nights for most people, and I am mostly talking my taste. As always the staff is what makes the stays good ones. In the lounge, all of JC, MJ, Tiene, & Eunice were awesome as were Michelle & Paulette at the lounge front desk. In the restaurant, James did an awesome job. I did not use the pool or gym on this occasion, but they are worth checking out. The hotel is in walking distance to the Glorieta and SM Malls, which provide whatever you wish. The main reason for the mid-level review was due to my last morning. I woke up to ants on the pillows and headboard. I will say that I have stayed around 15 times at Dusit in the past and never had that problem.

Breakfast is adequate. The room is clean but the sewer vents leaks into the room. Limited TV channels. Same shows repeated. Lots of food limitations. Room accommodations is not too adequate. Sometimes they forget to put towels and we have to call them up. They don’t upgrade returning old members and their hotel prices is too high now and the same is just okay

really old hotel with super dated furniture that looks like it’s barely surviving. the moment u reach the corridors u get hit with a horrible musky smell coming from the old carpets, and it gets even worse after stepping in the room. the carpets are even dirtier and worse smelling. bathroom isn’t clean. this hotel is in a terrible need of a total renovation. overpriced and totally not worth it.

All the staff from front desk, restaurant, housekeeping, security were all so nice snd hospitable. I loved my room, it was spacious and clean. You can cross the street from this hotel and there is an SM which offers shopping and food. They provide a pitcher of filtered water. The Christmas ambiance was festive with an auto piano playing Christmas songs. The included bfast buffet was delicious with champorado, various kakanin, egg station, Indian food selection, and many more. The pool area was nice. A very good value for a hotel in the Makati area.

The bathroom is a little outdated, carpets are dirty, curtains needs to be wash.

Everything was good. Staff was great, the property needs upgrades and there’s was some awful sewage smell in our room that we had to request for them to service it more than once.

Room was very clean. Love the linens smelling fresh. Breakfast is wonderful. All the staff were courteous, always smiling and ready to help.

Beware! This hotel has bedbugs - I was bitten at least 20 times in one night, and ended up with large red round welts on my arms, neck, head and legs. They allowed me to change rooms the following night, but the damage was already done. The rooms are also very noisy as it's surrounded by motorways with no noise insulation on windows, so not recommended if you're a light sleeper. On the plus side, the staff were friendly and the breakfast buffet had lots of variety eg. western, thai, pinoy, japanese, indian food. The club lounge offers nice views and refreshments. Would not stay here again due to bedbugs and noisy rooms!

Hotel was beautiful from the lobby to the rooms. However a few things made my stay a little uncomfortable. 1. The light under the vanity in the bathroom didn’t turn off and shined into the bedroom when trying to sleep. 2. The door to the room was not acoustically sealed. 3. I could hear every chime of the elevator as my room was next to them all. 4. Room service staff were very noisy during the hours of 12-4am when trying to sleep. 5. Guests staying also spoke loudly in the hallways late at night. Perhaps a please be quite sign at the lift lobby could help.

Great location, excellent service but the property can use updating. The water in the shower came out brown for a while. Carpet is dirty and the room smelled old. However, this is located in the heart of Makati and the customer service is excellent!

I booked a suite room 730 to be exact. Room was large, clean and comfortable. The only thing I didn’t like was that there was no shower only a soaking tub. Had I known that before I would have selected a different room.

The Dusit is an older hotel in need of updating. For our four day stay we has zero hot water even after “Engineering” looked at it. The bathroom faucets spurted water for the first 3 days. The room was clean. Bed was ok but should have a newer mattress. The carpet was old and in need of replacing.

Good location, staff is super nice, but the rooms are a bit older, and the AC is quite noisy. My room's door did not close properly -seems to have been due to humidity, and the shower head was leaking. I would not return.

A nice big room with a good view.

Room was immaculately clean. They allowed an early check in and checked me in as soon as I arrived. Staff is really polite and welcoming. Great location near bunch of shopping malls and restaurants. The rooms aren’t noise proof. So could hear everyone at the corridor and the traffic outside.

This has become my new number one as far as five star hotels in manilla. Amazing customer service! Everyone in the hotel from the bell hop to the elevator attendant. Hospitality to a whole new level! The location is ideal as well, SM mall located 1 minute walk from the entrance which connects with several other malls attached to that. The smell in the hotel is incredible, no matter what floor or where your at the overwhelmingly pleasent smell is there. The food at the location was astounding. The pantry had an amazing breakfast spread as well, a fine selection of asian dishes. Overall i can't find anything negative to say. Incredible place, would highly recommend. Will absolutely stay again!

Dusit Expedia review For the last two years since 2023 since I started visiting the Philippines, I utilized Dusit Thani in Makati as a place to stay while in Manila. Our stays have been ok until this year when I stayed three separate times in the last couple of months Apr- May 2025. The first time this year in Apr 3-11, 2025, I stayed for 10 days (booked through Expedia), and upon checking in I was asked to pay a deposit of 24,000 pesos (approx $440). Upon checkout I asked for a settlement receipt and I was told they don’t issue a receipt on deposits. The reason I asked for one is because the deposit was still a pending charge on my c/c and they said it will take at least two weeks to settle and reverse the charge on my credit card. The next time we stayed for 2 nights, I asked about the deposit from our last stay and they said it was still in process, maybe the reason why they said they’re waiving the deposit this time is because my last deposit is still hasn’t been settled. When we checked in and went up to the room, they immediately emptied the minibar in our room, and I found out it’s because I didn’t have a security deposit for that stay. I asked why they did that and they said that is because I didn’t have a deposit and it’s a standard protocol. I felt insulted a little bit because I felt they didn’t trust a repeat customer, that I would consume the items in the minibar without paying them. They insisted that they do it to everyone and it’s a standard procedu

My stay at Dusit Thani Manila was excellent. The hotel’s location is very convenient, close to several major malls and just a short walk to the MRT. It’s also a reasonable drive from the airport through the skyway, which makes travel easy. The service was smooth from check-in to check-out, and the staff were always helpful and courteous. I felt very safe throughout my stay, which added to the comfort. Overall, a great experience and a place I’d happily return to.

I am sorry to have negative feedback. I feel the reception was not professional. When I checked in, she always called to someone. Also when she returned my passport , credit card, anything, she didnot say anything. I never seen this kind of attitude in your hotel, I was very surprised and disappointed.

Everything was great except….. They some what scam me on the laundry service. The room cleaners ask you if you need laundry done, I was in the CR and my wife said that would be great. She ended up signing a blank piece of paper. At the end it was 235.00 dollars. I spent a lot to stay there for a week, as well we had diner there often. Yet when I expressed my grievance with this bill, the female manger was like oh well, and acted like she didn’t care. A little rude about it. Other than that, it was great. DONT FALL FOR THE LAUNDRY service. 235.00 dollars for a load of laundry for 2 people for about 5 days that is the craziest thing I ever heard. I just don’t understand that and I am left with option to but to believe I got scammed. I won’t go back for this reason. But the staff, just awesome people and nice as can be.

Very nice hotel! We were a bit shocked once we walked into it! We arrived about an hour before check-in and were able to get our room which was nice. Room was a nice size. Bathroom was a little small but fine. Hotel location was great. Right near metro line and malls. Lots of restaurants around too. Nice and clean/safe area.

Great staff and clean rooms. The outside of the building could use a good power wash. It’s past its prime but worth booking just for its central location.

The is a centrally located hotel and the highway is easily accessible. The exterior of the building could use some updating but the interior is kept clean. Super helpful staff. Got help setting up transportation to BGC and the airport.

Excellent breakfast.

The Restaurants have excellent service the staff is amazing in the entire hotel. Breakfast special requests were met with eager enthusiasm to please. The Sushi restaurant is a must with private dining available if you want to up your game.

The room was great, food was good, hotel is beautiful and in a great location. Down sides - The bathroom sink only had (VERY) HOT water. No cold! We got to the breakfast buffet at 9 (1 hour before it closed) and there were MANY empty stations. Most everything that was supposed to be hot was cold including the coffee. We were quite disappointed in the breakfast buffet, especially for the high price!

I love the Thai restaurant, Benjaroong. I love taho for breakfast. I always have a great experience when staying at Dusit. Staff are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and the bed is very comfortable. Nearby shopping places are a big plus. Highly recommended.
