The hotel is definitely not a four star hotel. It is very worn out and outdated, and has only the very basics.

The Hotel Penzance offers a great location for anyone visiting West Cornwall. A nice, comfortable, well located if slightly tired building, the rooms here were spacious and offering a fantastic sea view directly over St Michael’s Mount. The only downside for a less confident parker is the car park which was like a lesson in advanced trigonometry to get out of. Do not try it in the dark!
