Overall, a very comfortable, staff were exceptionally friendly and had everything that I would need. The car park lets it down as when you first done it looks unkept and is in great need of some tender loving care. Only other comment would be that the corridor lights are dimmed at night time as the light from those comes through to the bedrooms.

My first time at this Hotel, found nothing untoward about the Hotel, Staff etc.Hotel Carpark needs attention, some large developing pot holes, which could end up damaging wheels.

The staff were lovely and accomodating. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The only downfall: Car Park & Parking I arrived at night, and the car park isn't well-lit. Also, the markings are not clear so people are not parking correctly. This meant that I couldn't use a disabled space for my mother and had to drop her at the front and park further out. The signs for the disabled spaces weren't very clear either. The surface is also not great, which was a bit of a hazard while trying to walk through the car park, in the dark.

It ok but not ok I was sent sent packing tickets the day I stayed which is unbelievable when clearly states parking free I registered my car the day we checked in 29/04/22 and checked out on the 1/05/22 This is unprofessional!!! ???

We were given a room that had not been cleaned, towels on the floor bed not made. We immediately left the room and asked for another room. Service was terrible. No one at the bar on 1st attempt to get a drink. Then we hung around for 20-25 minutes before a staff member came to serve us to get a drink on the 2nd time of waiting around the bar. The hotel its self is very nice and modern as to the room was nice and modern, but we will not be booking here again based on service.

Nice and quiet stay and recently refurbished. For the price it wasn’t too bad. The rooms are pleasant but finished to a poor quality in the bathrooms. There was a horrible smell in the bathroom, 2 other rooms in my travel group also had the same smell. The hotel corridors smelt like weed! Public areas are nice, but I feel that the building is old and they have tried their best to make it look modern.

This hotel had been used to house asylum seakers. They are long gone and the hotel has had a complete make over, hence it is quite smart. Bathrooms are reconditioned and really good. Mattresses seem new. Although next to the M1 we had a restful night sleep. Rooms also have aircon. Only issue is that the corridors all smell musty.

It looked like there must be some renovation taking place. The carpet in the corridors looked worn and dusty. The bedroom was not prepared well for guest. We wanted a queen or king bedroom but we got a queen with two made up single bed. When I asked the manager he said it should have been a sofa.The headboard had one bedside table. The assistant manager was unfriendly no welcoming to the hotel. Made us felt uncomfortable. On the second morning after waiting to be seated for breakfast the waitress booked us in and said we can sit where want. As we went to choose our seat the Assistant manager (who had booked us in a few nights before) came over asking us who we were and that we needed to be booked in. The waitress heard the way that he was speaking to us and shouted to him that she had already booked us. He then started to back tracked and told us we can sit by the window if we wished.

The hotel has had a recent makeover so the room felt fresh and modern. Facilities were excellent-Importantly a long mirror, plenty of power point, comfy bed and pillows and really useful "in case you forgot" items included in the room. I was very impressed.

Convenient as it's just off the motorway but it's very much a transit motel. I was put in the last room of the hotel, in the basement at the end of the corridor. It had the feel of being forgotten about. Staff at the restaurant were lovely though and dinner was great.

Hotel staff were pleasant and helpful, room was spacious and comfortable. Conveniently placed for easy access to the M1 motorway and far enough away to avoid traffic noise. Let down by the menu options and during my stay could only eat in the bar area as the restaurant was occupied by block booking groups.

Great welcome, friendly staff. Room was lovely, clean and bed was comfortable. Not so keen on the shower which was a hand held shower head. Also had evening meal in restaurant, it was ok but nothing to write home about. Will stay again

Hotel as just been refurbished, room was excellent although the extractor fan in the bathroom was ineffective, staff was polite and engaging. What was poor is the breakfast it was cold only served scrambled eggs and the tomatoes and sausage seemed lacking in quality.

Good stay in a comfortable & clean room. The only negative point was the breakfast. A reasonable but not great selection available. Lovely friendly staff. Only cooked eggs on offer were scrambled eggs. Limited selection of fresh fruit and fruit salad and yogurts were uninspiring.

The first room there were issues so were quickly moved Room service was expensive and the food poor with an additional charge to bring to room. Bar was over priced. Room was very cold and with no internal number to the reception we had to keep going downstairs for help on the matter. The toilet flushed infrequently due to it continuously running making the cistern not full. The breakfast was good for the price and the bed very comfortable. We would not stay at the Novotel again
