Easy parking. Wasn't keen on the long queue at the bar to be served drinks although everyone queued up very politely, we just weren't used to queuing!

The hotel is in a great,the rooms are clean and the bed very comfortable.its good value for money. All the staff a friendly and willing to help,the bar is also good and has a great selection of beers and pub food. The only small issue is that depending when you check in you have go to the bar to find a member of staff.

Parking was great. Plenty of it and just register on tablet at reception to ensure no charge. Didn’t eat in property as there was a wedding reception going on and very busy. Room was adequate and good for budget price but with a few upgrades could be so much better. Bed was comfortable and clean. The shower screen needed a deep clean as there was mould in the rubber seals and some corroded metal parts on it too. Overall we had a comfortable, undisturbed night.

It’s a good pub location. Not too much around, but a Tesco express across the road. Meals in the pub were quite good and at reasonable cost. Parking was easy.

The bathroom decoration and fittings were tired and not well maintained with chips in the enamel bath, stains holes in the walls, seals peeling and missing, however the bedroom are was clean and the bed was comfy.

I’ve stayed in other rooms at the hotel and we’re in much better condition that this trip. I was charged different amounts for the same round at the bar. As you get a discount for staying at the hotel some staff put it on some don’t. My room was not very clean and even found a vape in the bed. Toilet was either stained or not cleaned properly.

I had booked 2 colleagues into hotel and when they went to their rooms it looked as though nothing had been cleaned. Pulled back bed covers and and found stains on sheets and bed. Manager went to room and agreed it was unacceptable Colleagues decided not to stay and drove the 3 hours back home

Very noisy people in and out disturbing my sleep was put into room 1 if you book make sure your not placed in to room one as you will be tortured with the door slamming in the corridor but breakfast was lovely room could do with a Thorough clean

Some staff give it some don’t. Was told last orders for food was 20:45 was refused food at 20:35. I’m plenty of parking and good location.

Hotel and rooms were average, booked a double and a twin to be given 2 doubles, then I was told no way I could have a twin as they where fully booked to go I. To my room and find two singles pushed together to Form a double, the. Was to much trouble to get extra bedding to split the beds. To then be told after we had food and drinks we get a discount, but then attitude from staff moaning about having to refund. Average at best but was only one night, food was nice

Booked last minute and the staff were super helpful. Breakfast doesn’t start until 7am, but I had to hit the road early—so they made me two sausage and bacon sandwiches to take with me! Really great service. I’d definitely stay again.

The hotel is in a great,the rooms are clean and the bed very comfortable.its good value for money. All the staff a friendly and willing to help,the bar is also good and has a great selection of beers and pub food. Most of the staff at the bar were very pleasant and polite. The two ladies who were checking me in were incredible rude. Continued their conversation for a good minute and didn’t acknowledge me, then looked at the computer screen and demanded ‘you checking in’ Then in the evening one of these ladies (blonde bob hairstyle) was serving behind the bar. I asked for two bottles of water, only sparkling was available when I asked for tap instead (as I did not want sparkling) she banged the glass down and rolled her eyes. All the ther staff were pleasant enough, including the lady at reception in the evening. The room was grubby and while cleanish, had many marks and stains. The curtains also did not close properly making it a bit unnerving for a email travelling alone. It’s a shame as location was ideal, but I won’t be back

It took 30 minutes to be allowed into my room from the time of booking on hotels.com. They said it was because it takes around 20 minutes from the time of booking to them getting the information on their system. Everywhere else that ive stayed at it is around 2 minutes. This place is 35 minutes

Clearly a contractors place ro stay. Been in worse been in better. It’s ok and was close to where I was working. It’s a very large and old building so there’s only so much owners can do without spending a fortune, but fresh paint, new carpets in communal walkways to rooms and new doors on bedrooms (they look quite industrial) would go a long way to the overall feel of the communal bedroom corridors and not break the bank. Would I stay again , yes if working close. Pub meals were normal pub grub, burger was delicious and prices were really good 👌

The hotel was ok but the pub was diabolical no staffing on the bar I ordered food had a 48 min wait was cold sent bk told it would be re made same food came out on a different plate and was still cold

Was clean, beds comfy & very good fry-up ..Think the hotel needs to purchase more sturdy juice dispensers at breakfast time as very flimsy. Dinner- both times requesting dessert was told none… either say at time if ordering or have a board saying.. also didn’t appreciate all tvs very loud when eating - surely there could be a seperate place for peace to eat dinner without tv?

Breakfast was cold, even 30 minutes after the dining room opened. Limited cereal selection and only instant coffee available. No refrigerator or microwave in room and room was cold. Told reception that lightbulb needed changing but this never happened. Window sill was falling off.

Great hotel, I've stayed before and I commented that it needed a little bit of work, well, they are doing a lot of work on the rooms. Ours had a fantastic new bathroom. Food was great as usual. Will be back again sometime. Thank you : )
