Himley House by Chef & Brewer Collection

The check in girl was a bit sharp but the girl serving at breakfast was very friendly. However, I chose the smashed avocado and it was horrible and unfortunately I sent it back after one or two mouthfuls as it made me feel sick! The waitress offered to bring me something else but I declined! My husband left his scrambled eggs as they were dry and grey looking. Disappointing! The room was quite big but there was no drinking water left in the room.

Lovely spacious clean room, very large comfortable bed.

Staff were very nice ,although given wrong information at reception during check in, with regard to breakfast timings, however Lisa at breakfast was very helpful and cheerful..and managedto sort us out..Disappointed that our room was not serviced,however on request we had tea and coffee resupplied. Overall fine.

Two starters not available at 8pm, which was disappointing. I asked if I could have a half portion of the sharer as my partner doesn't like cheese...Just a straight no. Breakfast a bit chaotic at continental station.. no places, bowls or milk! Accommodation nice enough.

Great value for money. Recently refurbished to a high standard. Very good and popular restaurant.
