The hotel was exceptionally clean and modern for a remodel of an older building. There was construction at the time of our stay which was annoying. And they left the music on outside in the pavilion overnight but it didn't happen again when I mentioned it to the staff. The parking was less than desirable. There needs to be more lighting in the parking area but it seems to be a safe neighborhood.

Staff were great. The bedroom floors were sticky, like walking around in a bar or club after hours. Otherwise the room was clean. The rug around the bed was vacuumed and felt clean. The shower head leaked. While in the shower, you felt like you were going to fall right through the floor because of the shower pan. We mentioned it to the front desk on checkout and they said the hotel is in the process of renovating them. The bed was super comfortable. Parking is across the street, $10 to park. I felt my car was safe there and wasn’t afraid it would get broken into.

It is very modern and super chic. I loved the vibe. When i opened my towel as i got out of the shower, there was a clump of black hair in the towel. There were only 2 tissues left in the box. We used both so the box was empty on our first night. The housekeeping staff did not replace the tissue box so we had allergies and no tissues. The towels were very scratchy and not even remotely soft. When the housekeeping staff cleaned our room on Sunday, they must have run out of floor mats for when you step out of the shower so we had a small hand towel to step out of the shower. The staff were extremely pleasant and pur stay was very pleasant and quiet. I just think that it could have been better.

HVAC unit in the rooms was very noisy. No matter what I did using the outdated remote seemed to work. Had to call front desk at 11pm to have someone take a look at it. Walls and ceiling are bare concrete. I know it was an old mill back in the day but didn;t really like the aestetics in the room.

Clearly a place for those of a certain "younger" age. The room was nice except there was only one (office) chair to use, so any lounging was done from the bed. There was also a discernable lack of light in the hallways. But the biggest problem was the lack of a real door for the bathroom. Instead, there was a sliding "barn door" which could not be closed completely, allowing for all types of sights, sounds, and smells to be shared. The bathroom also had no ceiling, contributing to the whole sharing experience. And, it was also not the easiest of doors to open/close. We will not be going back.

Don't take a room in the 200s facing the river. The bar will blast you with bass from the deck speakers until 1am and then turn them back on at 6:30am. Other than that, it's a great 3-star hotel.

We only stayed for two nights, but no one ever came to clean our room or take the trash/towels, etc. also no fridge or microwave so if you’re staying for a long while there’s no food storage. Breakfast not included but fancy restaurant attached.

The AC unit was extremely noisy/rattly. Made it very difficult to sleep. The bathroom sliding door is a nice feature but it’s extremely heavy steel. Hard to open and close for us older folks. Also this is not a quiet hotel, so expect noise from other rooms around you.

Beautifully re modeled factory into a hotel. Very upscale. Only "complaint" is the narrow depth of the sink which left me splashing water on the floor and practically hitting my forehead on the mirror. Have already spoken with management and was told they are working on a new design already. I wouldn't not stay here again for this reason. It was just awkward.

I couldn’t see a picture of the room when I booked it so I was a little nervous, but I was pleasantly relieved to find it was clean and very nice. The bathroom was spacious and very well lit and the office chair was very comfortable. The decor was warm and pleasant with a clean and contemporary aesthetic. The beds were comfortable and the mattress not too soft. The concierge desk was very helpful. The view from the room was not spectacular (facing a mall across the street) but the fall foliage was nice.

We spent two nights in this hotel. The front desk staff were amazing, every single one of them. The hotel room was fine, the AC didn’t work well but we were compensated for that. The restaurant, however, needs attention. The service is awful. We had drinks the first night. Waited almost 45 minutes for a cup of coffee only to be told they forgot about us. Day 2 breakfast took almost an hour for pancakes. When they finally arrived the restaurant was closing. Lastly, a brunch party: very unprofessional. No plates, lack of prep, a manager who was clearly in over her head. I saw other customers arguing with her! The wait staff are not adept and need direction. I would not recommend eating in this restaurant. Management should know it reflects poorly on the hotel.

Christopher checked us in and did a great job. A follow-up text from him asking if we were happy was a nice touch. This is a real fun property, very unique with its industrial feel. Management and staff should be proud of their efforts for making this hotel a great place to stay.

Front desk staff seemed too pained to be pulled away from their group conversations to greet us or check us in. I instantly regretted booking here, even after tying to connect personally. It felt like I was wasting their time. Restaurant staff was good in the morning, but forgetful at night. We had to repeatedly ask for basic things like water and ketchup and the correct beverage. The room was fine but the shower situation was strange. It was almost like the centerpiece in the room, and open (up top) to the entire room so that there was no bathroom privacy. The shower floor was quite flimsy, like if you jumped on it, you would break right though it. I had high hopes after seeing the gorgeous photos online (and the theming was sooo cool!) but it was quite disappointing. There is a reason that I usually stay at Hyatt hotels. I shouldn't have changed habit. Tip: Don't order the Stuffies (regional stuffed clam dish) for brunch. It was terrible...like if someone gave them a challenge to cook with only the basic ingredients and cooking methods alloted to settlers from the 17th century, along with stale bread.

I would give it a lower rating if I could. I was really looking forward to staying here but when I arrived late I was told that they had oversold for the night and they did not have a room for me by the unapologetic night manager Chris. This after I called the day before and twice before my flight took off that evening and they confirmed there would be a room ready for me. I recall seeing a review where a similar circumstance happened to someone else. Bottom line: DO NOT BOOK HERE if you are booking through a third party like Expedia or you are getting in late. They may not have a room for you even though you have a confirmed reservation.

Probably one of the worst stays I have ever had. For over a week we requested early check-in and didn’t get into our room until 9:30 PM. While others in our group also requested early check-in and got into their rooms early. We were advised to use the fitness area to change for the wedding we were going to and told that we didn’t need a key pass to get in the fitness area when in fact we did need a key pass. We happen to follow another hotel member into the fitness area so that we could get dressed. We didn’t get the room until 9:30 PM. We didn’t get a pass until almost 11 to put on our car, and then we didn’t have enough towels in the room. We requested more towels in the morning and never got them. When we checked out we told them how disappointed we were and no apologies were ever given. Nothing was compensated. We even requested a complimentary breakfast and they said they couldn’t do that because the food and drink were separate. Overall disappointing!

Restaurant food was awful and expensive. Portions were tiny and I asked for soft eggs 2 days in a row and got hard boiled both time. Terrible chef. Smell in the lobby was awful. Like cheap me s cologne. Strong and intrusive. Bed and sheets were terrific. Bathroom walls didn’t go to the ceiling leaving little privacy. Doors were so heavy that every time someone went in or at you would hear a bang. Lots of potential for this property - but really disappointed. Checkout was endless.

The property was very nice. I love that the room canceled out the noise. You couldn’t hear anything from the occupants next door. The staff was welcoming, warm, and very helpful. The only issue we had was with the restaurant. The service and food was horrible!!! We waited over an hour to be served!

Book it! Pretty, great staff, CLEAN! Looks just like the photo. It's beautiful. Staff is friendly. Restaurant had strong drinks, AMAZING food, and the staff was attentive. Room was clean, really cool design, nicer than the photo. Mini bar wasn't incredibly expensive if you feel like treating yourself. Bed and pillows were like clouds, I felt weightless and I am not... Only issues were TV was pretty old, didn't have a menu option, you kinda just had to scroll up or down and patio at the restaurant had no shades... :( I get very little sun and I couldn't sit outside to enjoy the wonderful weather. But it's probably a little early in the season for that. Also my husband and I don't have kids yet and we always appreciate atmospheres without them lol. We saw no children. Walls were pretty sound proof, if any were around, we couldn't tell. I will definitely be going back.
