We had booked a junior suite through Expedia from July 31st to August 3rd, without knowing that it was the time of the Gay Pride in Amsterdam. Problems started as soon as we arrived at the hotel. Due to the Pride festivities, the hotel parking was closed off without any prior notice, which would most likely have led me to cancel the reservation. But the worst was yet to come: our room was directly facing the street where loud music was blasting from early afternoon until midnight. The furniture and glasses in the room were literally shaking from the pounding techno bass. It would have been wise to close off the rooms facing the street, or at the very least to ask guests for their preferences.

Nice property in the heart of it all. The family room was a perfect size with a beautiful view. The hotel is centrally located though a bit tricky with drop off/pick up via car given it’s directly on a tram line. We also enjoyed the bar onsite - lovely bartender.

Good sized room close to a lot of areas of interest. We did not like not having at least a bar in the actual hotel and had to go into the burger bar for a drink although we were allowed to take them into the hotel

The hotel is beautiful and smells great. Every member of the staff was very nice. Perhaps we got one of the most suboptimal rooms (a junior suite) which we were expecting to have a more tranquil visit in. During our stay, one of the managers keyed into our room without reason to ask if everything was ok (we were sitting quietly taking a break). One night the restaurant/bar below had loud bass music until 11. No problem. Next night they had Loud, blasting music until 2 when I asked the staff to get them to turn it down which they did for about 15 minutes before turning it up again. Also banging things around hard enough to shake our walls. Left the next day. Slept maybe 3-4 hours both nights. I might try this place again with the caveat of not staying above the restaurant. The staff were all very apologetic about the commotion and I know it wasn’t their fault but it was a difficult stay.

I couldn’t recommend this property enough! Beautiful views, nice rooms, and the clerk really seemed like she was trying to help us out. You can hear and see (depending on room) the clock tower in the town square from your windows! Stunning! It is very hard to find parking in AMS so I’m glad it was available from the hotel (even for €50/night). Noisy at night so bring ear plugs if you’re trying to sleep! So close to so many restaurants and shops. Perfect location.

We liked our room and especially enjoyed our balcony off the 6th floor. The staff was friendly and helpful, but there were a couple times the line in the lobby seemed to move very slowly. The hotel and staff were helpful with getting around the city. Bike rental from the hotel was 18 euros per day (a good price for the area), and the hotel can arrange for a flat-fee (53 euros) taxi to the airport.

Beautiful, dark interiors with lots of flower decorations, this hotel is particularly well located for exploring Amsterdam. Top class breakfasts and high quality room with gorgeous bathroom. The restaurant was too lively for us (loud music and fun, burger vibe) and the area was quite noisy into the evening but we still slept well. No quiet communal area to get a drink during the day so if your room is out of tea, you need to go and find a cafe.

I was disappointed with this hotel. They had an issue with their key cards. This meant multiple trips down to reception, waiting for them to redo the cards then they wouldn’t work again and we’d continue the cycle. I think 8 or 9 times we had to go through this frustrating process. Sometimes they’d work in the elevator then not work for the room, meaning we were up to the 4th floor then back down. It made us late for dinner reservations and cost us money as we had to Uber instead of walking. These things happen but there was zero compensation (no free drink, breakfast, parking, late checkout). Nothing, and for the price paid really frustrating. The room wasn’t cleaned properly with pencil shavings next to the bed, dirt on the rug and hairs in the shower. The corridors were dark and smelled. The cleaning staff were rude and the reception staff were not equipped to deal with the key card issue properly.

We stayed here for three nights over a weekend, and this is one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The staff were so welcoming from the minute we walked in the door and were helpful throughout our stay. Diogo was very informative with his recommendations and a great help! Our room was very spacious, very clean and the view was lovely. We also paid for breakfast to be included, which was well worth it as the selection was huge and the food was lovely. The food was hot and kept well topped up right until the end of the service. The location is great as everything is within walking distance and easily reachable. Coming straight out of the hotel puts you on a main road all the way down to the train station around which all the main sites are. We have absolutely no criticisms about this hotel. I would definitely use this again!

We had an incredible stay at a most wonderful hotel in the center town close to everything! NH Collection Amsterdam Flower Market offers bigger rooms than average Amsterdam hotels at a fair price and ours had not one, but two balconies to appreciate the city and canal views!. The staff were super friendly and so attentive to all our needs. We appreciated the daily complimentary water and free drinks in exchange for forgoing room cleaning. We would stay at this hotel again!

The website completely misrepresented the room class. The room had a much lower cueling and had a garage roof atop the windows so it was perpetually dark. The next room they put us in was much the same with obvious moisture issues. The room ventilation was above the bed so we had sore throats after 1 night. The wallpaper was awful and looked like it was a defective run with ugly misprints going thru it. The elevator was falling apart and looked dangerous with a large metal band meant to hold down carpet bent up in the air. We finally complained enough to get the room advertised but at the cost of getting sick and a lousy night sleep.

Had a pleasant stay at NH Collection flower market. We were 3 adults sharing a triple room for a couple of nights. It was clean, modern, the beds were comfy & it had everything we needed. The bathroom had a powerful shower head. The only negative about the room was that it was too dark due to the lack of natural light & the interior lighting not being sufficient. The breakfast room & breakfast were excellent! The staff throughout were friendly & helpful. We slept well the first night but had a disturbed night the second night as the neighbours got locked out of their room & were lying on the floor chatting & laughing in the small hours of the morning. The night manager wasn’t quick enough to offer them a place to wait in until they fix their problem. However the day reception staff proactively acknowledged the issue apologised & made a very good effort to make it up to us. All in all a pleasant stay & would recommend.

This is one of the nicest hotels I have ever been to. Went for a long weekend with my husband and it was completely perfect. We’ve had trips to Amsterdam before but this hotel really made a different in the quality of our trip. Staff were super friendly and professional, even handed out ice creams to people waiting to check in on a hot day. Room was massive, clean and gorgeous, complete value for money. It was quiet too which I wasn’t expecting for a hotel so close to the centre, got a great nights sleep every night we were there. It’s so close to the centre and some great little restaurants and tourist bits too. We didn’t need to use public transport the entire time we were there. This will be our first choice for future visits to Amsterdam.

Great sized room close to the Flower Market. Unfortunately our room was directly above the hotel’s Burger Bar which made sleeping a challenge until the bar closed. Despite the room description advising that it was sound proofed, there was a considerable amount of noise still hear in our room from passers by and the downstairs burger bar.

Great central location. Skip the flower market though. Rooms were almost claustrophobic, even for Europe. I’ve stayed at the NH Collection by the Central Station and the rooms were normal size that I’d expect even in Europe. Skip the balcony. It’s too small and one of our rooms only had one chair. I requested a second but never got it in the 4 days we stayed. There were cigarette butts all on the ground, too. If you hang the Green (Do Not Clean The Room), then you get a free drink coupon good for beer, wine, or soda at the bar. The room size just didn’t justify the price, only the central location.

Innerspring mattress all over the place which can be great… if you maintain and replace them when the inner parts starting to “show” their shape below the sheet. Seems to me this hotel have a serious issue across the board with this. The mattresses (and they switches us rooms after the first night as we couldn’t sleep, which was also bad) are so bad - we couldn’t have a goodnight sleep ever. The bed itself is also very shaky, not stable and making noises on every movement. Other than that, nothing else really matter. If you can’t sleep, everything else is neglected. The beds are so bad, that as soon as you enter the room you are immediately getting the feeling you have arrived to some cheap road motel, not a 4 star. They did their best when we complained, but couldn’t fix anything, and we didn’t want to try and switch yet another room.

This hotel was very nice the lobby and rooms were gorgeous.The location was fantastic as everything was walking distance.The staff was very helpful with suggestions and booking activities.The small complaint I have was our room was not ready at check-in time and we had to wait three hours.Other than that our stay was very nice.

Great service from front desk before and during our stay. Hotel helped arrange transport from airport to hotel and hotel to cruise port. Very friendly and helpful staff , shout to Anouk, Alena and Celine at the front desk as well as Bert and the rest of staff. Very happy with our stay. Conveniently located great restraunt ‘s in bite and within a few blocks and a tram too! Would definitely recommend! Thanks!

Location is great! Staff really great with the exception of one glitch, calling front desk to ask for a plug converter but told they have none and I’d have to go buy one. 3 minutes later I go down and ask again and a different staff member finds me one…..hmmmm.

Stellar, caring & professional front desk staff's help in emergency. The room, location & hotel ammenities were comfortable & first class. Relative quiet despite popular location, Front desk provided immediate, professional help after my fall across the street resulting in a very boken arm Upon my entry to lobby several front desk staff dedicated themselves to my care & comfort while providing very accurate & useful info re accessing local emergency room services. They arranged a taxi to immediately take us to hospital and upon my return to hotel several hours later contued to offer help & inquire regardng our needs. The following day they graciously provided detail cocierge service to re book our flight home and to cancel remaining portions of our trip. Also they volunteered refund of hotel charges for nights we would not use. We could not have had more attentive personal service. We highly recommend this hotel and commend its training & staff.

Not as nice as other NH properties where we’ve stayed. Great breakfast room and food on first floor, but restaurant on ground floor below NH standard. We stayed on the street side with balcony. Room a little small. Maybe a little too much late night noise from bars across the street.That likely varies from one day to the other. Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast a huge plus. Overall cost was plenty for what it is

Stayed 6 nights in a junior suite which is quite spacious. The hotel is at the best location to most attractions by walking with very friendly and helpful staffs. There are endless dining options around. Hotel breakfast was excellent with great variety but it was exactly the same everyday which we got little tired after three days. It would be really lovely if there are some daily variations of the menu especially with the hot food :) Overall, we enjoyed it so much and will definitely come back & recommend to friends and family!

Location was in the beautiful Flower Market district and right on the #24 trolley line making it easy to get around. Staff was very friendly and accomadating going above amd beyond helping us get reservations for dinner and area attractions. Alexandro was especially attentive offering us mimosas with breakfast. The complementary breakfast was very extensive. Front desk was very friendly, efficient and helpful especially Allessi. Would definately recommend anyone to stay here.
