Room nice and clean you sometimes think everything is tilting because it such an old building. I booked it believing it was bed and breakfast but was told no, could use the microwave and toaster if I wanted with my own food and there was a microwave porridge if I wanted it. Even in their folder in the room it stated breakfast and what time it was. Couldn’t get the wi-fi to work. Will not stay there again.

Room was clean and well presented. Shower drain was very slow draining which meant very short showers to avoid overflow. Common room was convenient but could do with a thorough clean and better facilities to wash up with.

The guest house is large. Paid parking is available in a large carpark across the street. On arrival, the guest house seems very dark, old and dated. The room however was clean and fairly nice - especially at this price point. We were happy with our stay - just don’t expect luxury - it’s basic, simple but nice. The only thing I’d recommend is to take some ear plugs - the walls are paper thin and you will hear anything your neighbours are getting up to. Luckily, our neighbours were reasonable, and although we could hear them chatting and their TV, it was bearable. Not so much had they been drunkenly shouting. Overall, good stay for the price and I would stay again.
