One staff member was consistently rude and was not interested in being accommodating to any normal request such as needing an extra blanket. The blankets on the beds are basically thick sheets so it is cold. The gym is unusable because an AC unit was never installed in that room according to a staff member. It was 77* and humid in that space. The rooms allow pets so the carpets smell and the rooms have a moldy smell. My allergies were terrible the entire stay.

The staff was incredibly friendly, the cleanliness impeccable, and the overall vibe was chill and cool. The modern ambiance and quiet atmosphere is made for a relaxing experience. The well-appointed bar and the outstanding indoor pool were definite highlights. Highly recommend!

When we arrived I was a bit surprised at the number of people and activity in the lobby, but soon learned it was karaoke night and joined in on the fun! The bartender was awesome and a really good singer. It’s now on our list of destinations when we’re in the area, even if we don’t need accommodations!

The hallways are very dark. They had a live band which was very loud and even though we were on the 5th floor we could still hear them. I love the scent of the soaps and shampoo but our body wash was empty.

Great property, clean and convenient. Bartender was great, clean and cool pool table in main lobby. Cornhole available outside in patio. Pool was small but comfortable and clean. Room was modern and super clean. Great stay will be back.

Great staff, amazing bartender (Roarke is the best!!!), good food, clean comfy spacious rooms. What’s unique about this place is the sense of community- people come here to hang out even if they aren’t staying there. That says a lot!!

The entire hallway smelled. The toilet paper holder was hanging off the wall, there was no mat for outside of the shower, the room smelled like mildew, there were stains on the furniture, sheets and towels. Definitely would not stay here again. Save up your money and stay somewhere else.

Hotel was nice. Clean and spacious room. We stayed 3 nights. Skipped cleaning service on the first day and then expected it on the 2nd day. Cleaning staff did not make the bed, did not clean at all. The only thing they did was switch out the towels. Bathroom was dirty. Toilettries were not replenished. Raised this to the front desk when checking out. Got pretty much an "oh well" response. No explanation or apology. 3 nights and no cleaning. Unacceptable.

The hotel is showing its age. Room 202 has had some repairs done that appear as though they were rushed. There’s water damage and the rooms smells as though folks have smoked in there. I appreciated the front desk staff and the nightly special events.

Staff were great. Unfortunately, we had many issues with our stay. One being, when we first got there they told us that our room would be downgraded because they were sold out. That defeats the whole reason for a reservation. Then our air conditioning system did not work in our room. There was an old coffee in our fridge upon arrival. The iron board was completely bent. The chair to the desk had so many stains on it. Events in the hotel were also cancelled during our stay. We typically stay with Marriott, but we may consider somewhere else next time.

Nice hotel for transitting with our dog to Florida. Hotel employees were very friendly/helpful. One criticism: there was entertainment/events going on at hotel, & we could hear the band bass in our room on the fifth floor, until quite late.

The only reason I gave a rating of 3 is because their was so much noise on the 2nd floor. From a baby crying past 10p to a lady talking loud on her cell phone, and doors slamming. Hopefully, the next time they will place me on a quiet floor.

Second stay here. We love live music, even tipped the musician. However, we did not like that we had to listen to it in our room as we had an early morning and were ready to go to sleep. The music also seemed to bring in a loud group enjoying the bar. Again, all good, unless you can hear it when trying to sleep. The room was also too warm, adjusting the thermostat did not change the temperature.

Every aspect of our stay was great-from Check-in, our room, our interactions with staff. Well maintained and clean property. I enjoyed every interaction I had with staff. We felt very well taken care of during our stay. If we are ever back in the area, we will definitely be coming back here.

Condition of hotel has declined severely over the years. Along with the atmosphere. Front desk check in and check out people wete kind. Front desk lady Kee (sp?) Was the most rude staff nember I've seen there in years. Her customer service skills are zero.

Front desk person was very rude at check in. Sat at bar for 15+ minutes and bartender never talked to me, got up and left. Bar is in lobby of hotel and had loud music playing until late that I could hear in my room. They took my credit card for incidentals and also charged me for the room. Admitted they made a mistake and I would get the money back on my card. First call was told to call back when a manager was there. 2nd call I spoke with the manager and they just took my info and said they would call me back. Couldn’t the first guy of done that? Now a week later still don’t have the money back on my card and called to see why? Lady was very rude on the phone and said I should have it back in 5-7 business days. We will see if I ever get my money back.

Visiting my kids for the holidays, I chose aloft because I’ve never had a terrible experience until now. We checked in, got settled in our room on the 5th floor and left for dinner. When we got back our key card would not unlock door. I went down and front desk came to attempt the exact same thing with no success. They contacted a really nice employee in Heather who came with a laptop to reset pad code. She tried for over 2 hours with no success. My kids and I ate our dinner on the bench of that same floor. Heather finally got us into a different room next door. She had a manager come from home to break the lock so we could get our stuff. The room we got after had a mattress with brown/red stains. This was about 2am so I slept on tha bed with my kids not wanting to sleep there but too tired to go anywhere else law. Room was really beat up. I was told over and over again that we would be compensated and finally on check out a nice front desk employee got Andrea(Manager) to meet me only to tell me that since this is a 3rd party booking, she would review my situation and add points. Whatever that means it was for her to determine later without getting my contacted information but I got her business card. Aloft failed us and my kids. I’ll be choosing another property in the future and so should you.

The people at the front desk were very accommodating and friendly. The good at the hotel is horrible. Especially the breakfast. The bagels were stale and tasteless and then the next day I had a breakfast sandwich that was soggy and tasteless. Not to mention the coffee was horrible

This hotel was super cute. Clean. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay great. The vibe was fun and the pool table was a plus. The rooms were spacious and clean. The swimming pool was clean and opened until 11pm. It’s definitely worth paying for the breakfast upgrade, food was cooked to order and delicious. The hotel is in a great area close to everything.
