Hotel Maydrit Airport

After many train transport issues getting to Madrid we were so comfortable at the Maydrit Hotel. Our room was very clean & sparkling, the bed super comfortable. Got a light dinner in hotel restaurant which was very nice, up and on the shuttle which was timely in the AM. We would absolutely stay here again.

We stayed one night as we had a transfer overnight during overseas travel. We had a disappointing experience with the hotel’s airport shuttle (the reason we chose this hotel). I was told to call when we were at baggage claim, so I did, but they said we had to be curbside. So I called again when we were curbside and they said they were sending someone now. After 40 minutes had passed with us standing outside, we back called for an update and they said the driver hadn’t left yet but was leaving now. We ended up waiting at the curb for an hour, which after a day of travel is pretty unpleasant. The dishonesty about the driver’s departure was quite disappointing. We expressed our dissatisfaction upon arrival and they did nothing for us, barely offered an apology. Even a small gesture like a drink ticket would have gone a long way, but we ended up feeling completely disregarded. The shuttle to the airport was fine, as it runs on a schedule. But be aware of the inconsistency of the pickup shuttle. Overall the hotel was fine, average, but with this experience and the lacking customer service afterwards we wouldn’t stay again.

Very nice hotel. Only downside was we were unable to call property to get free shuttle from airport and had to pay $33 to take a taxi. Prearrange shuttle. Other than that, the hotel was perfect for our needs. Staff was very friendly.

Ease of shuttle to and from the airport. Helpful staff, restaurant was delicious both for dinner and breakfast. A really nice room. Quiet and very comfortable.

Shuttle runs every hour, remember to book online on the hotel's website. It is a short ride to and from the airport. The hotel is modern and the rooms are very comfortable. Great bed, huge bathroom.

The property advertises a shuttle to airport. But shuttle has an hourly schedule and some time slots have already been booked

Fint hotel som til transfer. Vi anvendte hotellet inden vores flyvning hjem fra ferie. God service i receptionen, som hjalp med opbevaring af baggage, samt hjalp i forhold til booking af transport (gratis) til lufthavnen. Værelset var stort og meget komfortabelt. Pool skuffede. Den er lille, uopvarmet - og ikke særlig fristende at hoppe i.

The promise of the airport shuttle was not fulfilled. The sign-up link did not work. You could get to the link but it would not accept a reservation. Very disappointing and expensive. Staff just said they wete sorry. They did not have any complimentary water. Not a topnotch operstion.

The Good: The hotel was very cute, the staff very pleasant, the breakfast was wonderful with lots of healthy options. They also provided luggage storage for us. The less good: Why are the pillows so big? I use a big pillow at home but these were gigantic. Four pillows provided all of them gigantic. Although the place was clean there was some mold in the bathroom and shower.

The room was jot properly cleaned, the bathroom smelled bad, the floor looked dirty . The room was nothing like in the pictures. Dated old and in a verycondition

Very nice large room and large bathroom with great lighting. So close to Terminal 1 yet didn’t hear any planes overhead.

The room was very nice but there was no air conditioning. I expected a cool room for good sleeping before my international flight but the room was very warm. Bed was comfortable but pillows were not.

This is a solid business hotel with plenty of space, a punctual shuttle, a very clean room that included a much-appreciated coffee maker and toiletries. To me, the giant memory foam bed was not as comfortable as anticipated but the rest was great, especially the access to public transportation. Note that it is located in a safe but bland residential neighborhood. Those looking for a little more Spanish flavor should consider staying downtown or the center of the neighboring Barajas district.

Only issue with this hotel is no door on the bathroom.

It was really an excellent room. The only small criticism is that the A/C was inoperable on a very warm night.

A/C not as cold as I prefer ( wasn't bad just not very cold ) restroom not very private. Over all very good hotel.

Perfect hotel re being next to the airport and not far from Madrid City Centre, a metro stop is at the end of the road, so it was easy to get to. I'd definitely go back. Bathroom was very large as was the room and the bed was extremely comfortable

The room was clean and very tidy, although there was still some hair in the bathtub when we came in. The check in process was slow, taking over 20 minutes. The driver for the shuttle service to the airport was professional, prompt, and courteous. Overall the room and the stay was a nice experience, but the service could’ve been nicer.

Tienen un mesero en el turno nocturno, rubio, con muy poca empatía, con malos modales para el trato con los clientes. Todo lo demás, aceptable para hoteles que se anuncian en esa categoría.

A Deeply Disappointing Departure That Should Not Be Overlooked Our experience at Hotel Maydrit Airport ended on a profoundly disappointing note. As we were checking out with our four young children, my wife was mistreated by the duty manager, Luis, in a manner that was not only unprofessional but frankly demeaning. His tone was dismissive, his demeanor needlessly aggressive, and his complete disregard for basic courtesy was both surprising and unacceptable. We chose this hotel for its location and the promise of a seamless experience for a traveling family. What we encountered instead was a blatant failure of hospitality at the precise moment it was most needed. My wife, an accomplished executive and a respectful guest, was spoken to in a way that no one should ever be addressed in any setting, let alone a hotel lobby. This was not a cultural miscommunication. It was a lack of leadership, of empathy, and of fundamental respect. Luis demonstrated none of the qualities expected of someone in a position of trust and responsibility. He made a difficult travel day measurably worse and left a lasting impression for all the wrong reasons. To fellow travelers, especially families and those expecting a minimum standard of professionalism, I strongly recommend choosing another hotel. There are many in Madrid that understand and embody true hospitality. Hotel Maydrit Airport is not one of them

Front Desk Staff were nice and helpful, Daniel, specifically was very nice and helpful. On the other hand, breakfast staff were not nice, Wilmar, was very mean and unprofessional. Breakfast was really tribal and boring.

Great hotel for proximity to the airport and Metro. Staff were very welcoming and helpful upon arrival, and thoughout our 2 night stay. Hotel is very well maintained, and the rooms are comfortable and spacious. While you can pay for hotel parking, free parking on the street was available and safe. Would definitely stay here again.

Really good location. Very close to subway and close to airport. Also this location has free shuttle to Airport. Room very nice and clean.

Madrid done easy. Very safe neighborhood. Excellent on all counts. Two blocks from the Metro to Center of Madrid. Airport transportation was perfect. This is our one stop for future trips and highly recommend for North American travelerd.

Good hotel but the dinner was overpriced.

It was our last day in Spain and we we wanted a hotel that had a shuttle service to the airport and a breakfast - it had both. The breakfast was good and varied. The shuttle service was great! The hotel was clean, the rooms were clean. The decor was modern. My only complaint was that the room was cold and the heating system did not really heat the room - although it was a very cold night.
