The Rose and Crown

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The smell was awful being masked by diffusers just not very well. The double room was two singles shoved together. Tiles in bathroom all lifted which caused me to kick them and take my toenail off.

Lovely room. Bed was very comfy. Small attention to detail is seeded, toilet seat needs changing or fixing. Food was very good and staff loveky.

Stayed a few times in past; this time the place is looking tired and in need of some tlc.

We arrived an hour before check in and decided to have lunch. The car park was a 5 minute walk so we left our bags in the car. After lunch we went to collect them and I became unwell. We left and contacted them immediately explaining and asking for a refund of our stay since we would be going back to London. They just kept insisting that I call them even though I was unwell. I’m now back in Canada and still haven’t received a response.
