Parking is at a premium. They have a garage under the building, but they neglect to mention that they charge $40 per night to park. We picked this place so we could use the Metro because the station is close by and were not planning to use the car. They should at least posted the extra parking cost

Overall, the property was very nice. The rooms and lobby were clean. The breakfast was good as well. Our only gripe was the hotel bar was closed all three nights due to someone calling out each night. About a 6 minute walk to the Eisenhower Line (Yellow), so it was convenient to get into DC.

The hotel beds were very comfortable and clean. Great breakfast. Parking was tough unless you paid the hotel $40 a night. There are other laces within walking distance for $8 night.

Room is decent and met our needs. Kitchenette is great. Had to ask for replacement for toilet paper, soap, dishwasher detergent, etc multiple times. Staff was very friendly during all interactions. Shuttle service was great but rarely available. I suggest that the rooms should be better stocked if housekeeping is only coming every 3rd day. All in all, I would stay here again and would recommend to others, especially families.

My car was severely damaged because the parking garage that is connected to the property is not in compliance. There was no indicator beam to see where to turn (since it’s a two way ramp) and ripped my entire side of my car from front to back. And of course, i have to pay for it since i signed for my car to be damaged because of hotel negligence. Yay.

The location was great Just that when i checked in I was not very impressed with the guy who checked me in The next day morning he was there and didnt know about the area It was disappointing But the rest of the staff were great The bar man was the best feature of the hotel he was friendly and welcoming He should probably train the guy who checked me in

Everything was great! Front desk was helpful, the shuttle was great, easily walkable to 2 different metro stations that made getting into DC or to the airport super easy! I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent clean and spacious property with an amazing breakfast. Parking, not so much. We returned at 10:30 after a performance at MGM Casino and there was no parking. 3 cars trapped on 3rd level and very difficult to get back out due to very tight areas. Looked for parking for 30 minutes outside in the dark and ended up outside on a street. Paid $32 for this privilege. Not fun.

the hotel is very old - you can tell that maintenance is not a top priority. the bathroom has dirt on the floor, actually the entire floor in the room was covered with sand - I was on the 12 floor. the paint on the outside railings are in desperate of need of painting, the door both interior and exterior are in need of painting. the caulking in the bathroom shower is black and needs replacing. there was a peanut on the floor in the bathroom upon check-in. There were no towels in the room, no toilet paper and no small soaps and lotions. the room needs some type of coffee table it the living room area. Perhaps small carpets near the beds or front door to assist with tracking in loose dirt/sand into the room. Housekeeping is only every 3 days. The kitchen draw with the utensils was not cleaned out - had drops of what looked like syrup with the spoons. The management should look at reworking the budget to see where they can do some capital improvements to bring up the quality of the rooms.

This place was an overall nice find! Very budget friendly, and they have a good variety of selections included with their free breakfast. Be sure to inspect the towels provided when you first get to your room - our towels were not clean when we got there, but after speaking to the front desk they upgraded our room and gave us a free bottle of wine. It’s a nice place to stay when you’re on a budget. Staff is very friendly and helpful!

The water temperature on the 4th floor was totally unpredictable. Showers started hot, then without warning turned ice cold. I would hope this isn't a building-wide issue. As far as convenience, close to grocery and Metro, which is definitely a solid for traveling with an infant. Beware: $40/night parking fee!

The rooms should not be sold as sleeps 4 people because the sofa bed is extremely uncomfortable and could barely fit 2 kids. The king size bed was also extremely small for a king bed. We did not get much rest on our trip.

building looks fairly new, room was great, very close to subway, staff was fine, breakfast was good, not close to downtown walked to subway in 4 minutes, some cafes and supermarkets close by, area looks great and room even has a small kitchen.

We got a charge of $128.50 for no reason after check out on July 14th. The hotel first said it was a hold for seucrity/incidental charge and will be reversed. Then it became a real posted charge in our credit card. Called the hotel multiple times, and even went there in person, the front desk person couldn't explain what it was for. After waiting for a long while I was told it would be refunded. So far refund is still not issued per our credit card representative, we had to dispute the charge.

They were overbooked, and my family and I had to stay elsewhere for the first 2 nights. It took a lot of time to rearrange accommodation and vacation plans that we missed some of the activities we had planned to see and do in the area. Once we checked in, the room was clean and the hotel staff was friendly.

Every time I stay here the manager Sherry gives us a hard time. I watched 3 separate guests come up to the front desk with a normal request and she gave everyone a difficult time. She went as far as to tell the guest that she was going to call the police on him after she was totally wrong and at fault. She doesn’t know how to operate the software so she couldn’t see my paid in full reservation and even though I asked for a early check in. She held us up for two and a half hours. I’ve had to complain about her and be refunded my last time here. I love Marriott and only stay with Marriott. As a Titanium member you have certain perks that should just be offered by the front desk staff. She is the person looking for the reason to say No! She needs a new profession. I take a course Marriott created called the Ritz Carlton Experience, it is about providing an exceptional experience. Never received anything like that from them! Nice hotel poor manager. Kim was able to address one of my concerns and escalate it to upper management. She was great!

The hotel was amazing. The only challenging part was I arrived at 4am, and no one was at the front desk and I kept buzzing to try and get inside, as the front doors were locked. After 5 mins I decided to call the hotel number, which then got someone to open the doors for me

Great stay for 3 nights. Nice, safe area. Good breakfast. Clean and well maintained. Several eating options nearby. Quick 2 block walk to the Metro Yellow line, 10 min to the airport or 20 min to the Mall. Much cheaper than staying downtown and 2-3x the room size. Will stay there again with any return to DC!

Really enjoyed my stay here at the Residence Inn. It was close to the Metro station and within easy walking distance of a number of fine restaurants. The area around the hotel was nice and well kept up.

Great three night stay here, it’s a little walk from the nearest metro station but no major trouble. The soundproofing of the room we stayed in was excellent, so no complaints about noise. Complimentary breakfast was great at the weekend, but disappointing to see it scaled back on Monday. The chap on the front desk was a real credit to the organisation, very friendly, helpful and professional.

Very nice, comfortable, clean hotel in a great location with a few minor nits. The store/gift shop was almost bare and the morning free breakfast was cold and mediocre at best. Staff was attentive and helpful. Rooms were well designed and functional.
