The hotel is in a great location and made it easy to access all of the major sites in Wilmington. The elevator wasn’t working on our first day which made check-in a bit of a hassle. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend this hotel!

The location was very good. The room was top notch, clean, nice TV. Breakfast was good, service was very good if you needed something. Pool was gross we had planned on swimming. Was small and cloudy...no thanks. Desk folks very friendly.

Easy and ample parking, seamless and helpful check-in. I had a king suite with pull out couch. Nice size room with large bathroom. Microwave and fridge were convenient. Very comfortable air, nice tv, and a solid and cozy bed. Pool and gym are decent and the morning breakfast had a few hot items, oatmeal, waffles, juices coffee, cereal, milk, muffins, fruit and bagels. I found it to be ample and fresh every day which was nice. All staff was very friendly. You turn left onto Eastwood out of the hotel and you are at the beach in under ten minutes. Right next to Market St. and College Ave. so it is close to all different types of grocery stores and restaurants. Hotel was very quiet although it was full and very clean. It was an excellent stay and experience. I am here to vacation often and I will not consider booking at any other hotel on future stays in Wilmington. I think for the price I paid per night everything was fabulous.

I stayed for one night to take my nursing state exam the next day it was clean and comfortable. The only trying I found that upset me was long hair in the bathroom shower, but I always bring my own cleaning supplies to clean the rooms I visit so I took care of it myself. Overall the staff was great and near everything as well. I would recommend the stay as well as coming again myself.

The hotel really needs a deep cleaning. The elevators and hallways had debris and crumbs on the floors that were never vacuumed during a five day stay. The housekeeping in rooms wasn’t great, never received fresh towels and the breakfast options were limited.

Room was dirty and bathroom smelled bad like mildew. Was supposed that be cleaned and never was. The hot water went in and out and was completely out the whole last day of our stay. Front desk said that it would take a couple days to get someone to come out and fix it. It is so far from everything. The rooms latch on the door was broken so I didn’t feel secure. I can’t believe this place got good reviews

I have never been disappointed by a Marriott before. This is the 1st time only this property. 3 experiences that bothered me. When we got here they switched our room from king to queen due to water damage. The room they gave us had a door that got stuck every time we exited and an alarm that would sound. The 2nd thing was that the room was little unclean . That's number one reason I book was the reputation for the cleanness. There were stains on the walls and spill on the carpet by the door. The 3rd is that the fridge was broken. Everytime you opened it it came completely out from it's stand and you had to hold it from falling on you . Not good for a handicap room. I hope before any person who is disabled stays they do fix it.

A great stay! Couldn’t have asked for a better hotel for an overnight stay in Wilmington. It’s in a great location, (right off a main road) the room was spacious and very quiet. We never heard another guest! Great amenities including a microwave and refrigerator and coffee maker in the room. Loved the apartment style room. The bed was a little soft but very comfortable. The breakfast was satisfactory- better eggs than most! Also enjoyed a noon checkout - never felt rushed to check out. Lastly, the price was incredible! 5 star stay.

Decent property and not to far from some great food and scenery. The breakfast wasn’t very good and the tv in the room was old and barely worked. Not very much of a gym but there’s enough for a good workout.This property is not walkable.

I was unable to connect my laptop to their wi-fi, which I needed to do work, was staying there on business. Phone connected fine but hotel staff said there can be problems with laptops connecting if there are security protocols on the laptop. I was in three different locations during this stay and had no problem connecting my laptop to those wi-fi networks.

The room and bathroom were clean and the receptionist was very nice. For my husbands sake, she put us in an accessible room, which had an excellent shower. The problem was, that employees should be aware of where they place families with very active young children, who wiggle the handle and knock on the adjoining door, and in general are noisy! Probably the biggest problem was the internet! Please get it fixed. We both tried to connect, and when we went to guest, it then directed us to sign in, but every time we got an error message! Went to the front desk this morning and the receptionist told us to go to google and type in marriottwifi.com, but DUH…we can’t get on the internet!! My husband had important emails to send! Other than that, it was a good stay..

overnight stay for a business trip. Overall just fine. Room was clean and comfortable. It did get a bit stuff at one point and I realized the AC had a 2 degree deadband so I had to set it 2 degrees or more below my target temperature to get the unit to start. The room I was in was not super sound insulated. I could hear talking and noises from all directions. It wasn't intolerable, but certainly noticeable.

They kept saying they didn’t want any messes to clean up. These 2 ladies clearly did not enjoy theirs jobs or dealing with the public. The food was not good and had little variety. For this reason only our family will not be back!

I left something in the room when I checked out. Called the next day and no one found anything. The General Manager was less than enthusiastic about my lost item. It did no just walk out of the room! No one ever spoke to the maid who actually cleaned my room. It was a great vacation until this experience. WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN.

The young lady that greeted me upon my arrival was extremely lovely, professional and kind. I wish all Hotels had this kind of employee. Additionally, the young man that checked me out was very kind and professional as well. I will stay here again when I visit Wilmington!

The staff noz friendly, rhey didnt really welcome you or looked up, when you walked in, especially the young man..the cleaning person on the 2nd floor was so unprofessionel, she was on her phone, laughed and talked really loudly, so rude and unprofessionel. We spent three nights in this hotel and I must say every person we interacted with from the front desk, to housekeeping, to the people making breakfast were the friendliest people you'd ever meet. They all took a moment to chat with you and ask if there's anything you needed. They also remembered you from a meeting on a previous day. This is easily one of the best hotel staffs I've encountered. As far as everything else, the rooms were nice, beds comfortable. The few inconveniences we encountered were unstable internet (a big problem since i needed to remotely work from the hotel); a subpar breakfast (even by hotel breakfast standards); and a terrible shower (no water pressure and the temperature kept cutting in and out). All in all, those inconveniences were relatively minor. I list them here in the spirit of constructive criticism. But, based on the incredible staff, I will stay at this hotel every single time I come to Wilmington.

My parents and I enjoyed staying in Farfield Inn very much. Our room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom had ample space with nice body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. Breakfast provided was good, not many options but definitely fair regarding the price of the room. The only one thing we wish the hotel to improve was the frequency of changing towels in the bathroom. In the bathroom there was a tag saying that if we wish to get clean towels just place the used ones on the floor. We did, but there wasn’t any clean towels provided the next day. They still offered us clean towels after we requested it at the front desk though which was nice. I’d recommend this hotel if you want to have a trip to Wilmington without a luxurious budget. 15 minutes to the wrightsville beach and 13 minutes to downtown. Very convenient!

The front desk person, Jackson, was great. For the price the bed was nice, it was clean, and the breakfast wasn’t amazing or anything but it was free which was really nice. For just a standard hotel you need a place to sleep in this place is absolutely worth the money. Also it’s about 15/20 minutes to beach and most major areas and somewhat near downtown as well. For what it is it is 100% worth it

This property doesn't look like the pictures online. The pool is very small. The rooms do not have a microwave. You have to go to the lobby to use the microwave. Lastly, the breakfast is from 6:30-9:30. Most places are from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. Overall, I regret pay staying here.

Excellent staff from front desk to housekeeping to breakfast room. Nice quiet clean rooms and in a good area near Mayfaire. Good coffee, wonderful hot breakfast, including scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, grits, muffins, bagels, fruit, OJ, cereal, yogurt. One day there were mini -quiches. A littl hard turning in across traffic at times, but not horrible. Adequate parking. Nice lobby area for gathering/ hanging out .
