Days Inn Warwick Northbound M40

Unfortunately there is no dedicated parking for the hotel and was only able to park quite a way from the hotel and it was raining heavily so got soaked going from the car to the hotel. The room was quite cold as the heater hadn't been turned on.

The biggest issue was the lack of a restaurant/bar facility in the hotel. There were fast food options available in the service area but they were limited. Nevertheless, the hotel worked for a base to explore the area and we were well satisfied with our choice.

The hotel is good, but the problem is with the parking. The Expedia website mentions that parking is available, but I had to pay an extra 5 GBP for parking

The good news is that the room was warm, clean and comfortable. In principle I would return to this hotel. The big problem is that on arrival I was asked for more money! This is very damaging to both the reputation of the hotel and that of the booking site (hotels.com). The detail is that I was asked for £5 (room charge £62) to park my car. This charge was not obvious from the website which showed as an amenity "car parking". It did not say "chargeable car parking" or similar. Given that the hotel is in a motorway service station between two junctions the need for car parking is clear. Where I am now is that I have lost confidence in the details put on the hotels.com site. I do not know who is responsible for those details and I do not know whether deep in the small print the charge is explained. I simply do not want to have to scrutinise the small print to check every legal term. I want to assume good faith on everyone's part. I have never had to pay parking charges at either a Days Inn or a Days Inn by Wyndham motorway hotel before. I thought this kind of small print trickery (if indeed the charge is in the small print) had long disappeared. I would ask both the hotel and hotels.com to update the description of the hotel (and others in the group) to make it clear that parking is not included in the price quoted.

The stay was fine, with no real issues apart from parking. Since the Teslas charging points were installed there is limited close parking - especially for those with limited mobility

Now that Tesla charging has taken up space there is less parking available adjacent to the hotel. If one had considerable luggage this could be annoying.

It's okay if it's only for a night but not for more. It's located in a service area and there is a lack of services (for example bar, gym or proper breakfast). Despite all, staff is very nice and helpful.

Good location at Welcome Break Center off M40. Recent flood had damaged some main floor areas but second floor units unaffected. Breakfast at the building next door. Paid parking unless booking directly.

The room I was initially allocated smelt strongly of damp. The reception were great in moving me quickly, but the room they moved me to had dirty towels and linen in the doorway with a chair propping open the door, as did the room next door in between the damp one and my new one. The room had been cleaned (though I did check under the covers after that!), and once I sorted these things out, it was comfortable and quiet there.

This is what a budget hotel should be. Everything is clean, everything works. Plenty of hot water. All good.

Great place to break up your journey from the South Coast to anywhere in the North West. Clean and comfortable rooms.

Paying for a budget stay can yield mixed results - not so with Days Inn at Warwick. Friendly welcome, clean room and bathroom. Corridors a little tired but you don't spend much time there, it's the room that counts. Exactly as pictured here, the "net curtain" didn't keep bugs out but it's summer so an open window was essential. Quiet, even with the windows open all night I got the rest I needed.

Very nice room, clean and comfortable. Bed was lovely and firm with extra pillows if needed. Shower was clean and had a hair and shower gel dispenser. Really good nights stay.

Clean and comforable, fine for 1 nights stay en route. It is a shame the motorway services don't do hot food 24/7 as I arrived at 10:30pm and could only get a hot drink from a machine.

I stayed in room 12 and it was the worst night I have had in a hotel. The floor was damp and there was a very strong smell of mould.

Really comfy beds. Great value for money. Quiet and good night's sleep.

Lack of a power socket near the bed, we were unable to connect our medical equipment. We to move the bed closer to the desk power socket. Lack of a moveable table, restricted our activities in the room, especially as there is no communal seating area. Where we could meet up with other members of our party.

You get what you pay for at this place ..the rooms are ok, the carpet could use a deep clean , the bathroon was clean , the beds were ok...the WiFi didn't work when I was there and thet said it was a BT issue. Asked for a partial refund as I wanted to work there but said that couldn't be done. Poor service as clearly it was in breach of advertising standards if the manager didn't happen to know. Couldn't be bothered to argue so left..stat here only if you absolutely have to and don't have other choices available

Considering the motorway location the hotel was surprisingly quiet, with no trace of traffic noise. The room was clean and tidy. For the price it was great and perfect for what we needed as stop over prior to visiting the NEC

My card stopped working when I got back to my room & it took a lot to get the attention of staff on reception. They didn’t seem best pleased to help when they finally came out from the back.

It was very clean but beware of the electrics as you plugged in a usb cable the lamp would go on which was worrying. If you need a socket by the bed for a CPAC machine etc bring an extention cable with you as there isn't one and none at Reception. Room was very warm so i would take a fan if you know its going to be a hot day. Don't pre pay for breakfast as Hotel.com charges £10 pp but its only 7.95 at Reception.

No elevator, No air conditioning, WiFi didn’t work, parking not convenient. No phone in room.

On motorway services but surprisingly quiet allowing good sleep at night

Not a pleasant experience. Bed and duvet were not clean as I ended up getting rashes. Also, upstairs neighbour was very rude (very loud on the phone and kept stomping the floor while walking throughout the night for some reason). When I requested the receptionist to go and talk to them they came back pretty soon and mentioned they could not hear anything and there was only so much they could do!! The hotel, however, could surely do with having well trained staff and some sets of earplugs around !!

was travelling home from oxford but got late my son driving got tired so made desion stop srvices and stay over nite was met 2 loverly female staff at reception who quickly sorted out our room nothin too much trouble for thm found ground floor room even took us room room warm clean perfect overnite staff even cleaner chatty friendly .few suggestions maybe few signs pointing out which way reception is as kept goin wrong way not great when uve walkin problems maybe bench ot table chairs just outside entrance so smokers can sit down to smoke

The hotel was basic and that’s all one really needs from a Days Inn. However my booking had been changed to a different hotel due to it being flooded and closed, but no-one advised me of this, so I arrived at a closed hotel with no phone connection. No-one thought to call me to tell me.

The property was shut due to flooding and they had shifted our booking to the opposite side a week ago with no communication to us. We were trying to reach the property 48 hours in advance to confirm our ETA. With no response of phone calls and live chat when we reached the property late in the night tired to read a notice due to flooding the site was shut and for us to contact another property for stay over. It was a terrible experience as we were travelling with a kid and wanted to make sure we had a place to stay overnight.

Great friendly service. Clean room. Good WiFi. Tv. Shops and restaurants next door in the main services building. Attentive staff Couldn’t have asked for more.

Location is quite convenient for travellers. As it is within service station area, parking and dinning is not a problem. The staff of Days Inn is friendly and the room is clean although our room run out of bathing gel.

The hotel is basic but perfect location and price for a show we were visiting nearby.

So convenient to get to local attractions. Service station next to it so helpful to grab food or bits for an easy stay! Would stay again if up that way!

Inconvenient location when staying there several days (there is no connection between north amd west side and hence must one drive to the closest exits to be able to access the place (everytime we came from the wrong oocation).

The hotel was handy for our trip to Birmingham Wished i had booked 1 night north and 1 night on the south side to avoid going up and down the m40

not a lot to like. supposed to be at junction 12 but there was no turn off so convenience of this place went downhill in our opinion

Good value at £60 for b and b plus £5 parking. The hotel staff were very nice. Room very basic and very weak shower (we were given a disabled room although not required) Breakfast was in the Welcome Break service station with a voucher. It was ok but the service was bad, very abrupt and miserable staff. As hotel is on the motorway need to drive 2 miles to nearest exit and car satnav on the way there left us in the middle of a country road. Still, as I said it was good value and you get what you pay for.

All good, except the breakfast was served nearby in the motorway services food area, at a place called the 'Good breakfast' the breakfast itself was Ok (just Ok), the two members of their staff that I encountered two mornings running were not, the one chap that served the breakfast to me, needs a lesson in how to be friendly, the other was down right rude, and if you worked for me would no longer have a job! So 'Days inn' be warned the 'Good breakfast' with some of its staffs attitude is ruining all YOUR hard work!!

Receptionist was very pleasant at check in, which was also quick. Room was spacious and very clean. Shower had lots of hot water and was easily adjustable. Very quiet overnight, apart from one occupant of a nearby room who came and went from her room around midnight, allowing doors to slam. I did not get breakfast during my stay, but I know the breakfast area was conveniently located in an adjacent building. Parking was very convenient. Would definitely stay again.

The accommodation was cheap and cheerful if you are looking for something basic. The staff are warm and friendly and very helpful when you arrive or even if you have any further queries with the reception. If I was staying up that way again, I would use their service again and recommend any one to use them in future. I definitely wouldn't recommend their breakfast. I think you should have an option for Breakfast.
