My first time at a Metro so not sure what to expect the Kitchen looked fully equipped I did not use, a lot of the fridges looked full. Plenty of signs saying what not to do camera's are in the kitchen saying do not use other peoples food etc. I have not stayed in a hotel with shared facilities so wanted to give it a go. The reception is maned 24 hours give room keys in when going out each time to save lost keys. The room was clean no kettles in the room bot are in the kitchen with a coffee tea machine in the entrance . The post code I had took me across the road to the Premier hotel not sure why. A buffet place is next door with a Pub across the road at the Premier hotel

This is the most inexpensive stay in the area. Kind of hard to get to if you don't have a car. We had a shared bathroom, which was a pain in the butt. But a lot cheaper than anything near Edinburgh.

This is by far the most disgusting place I’ve ever seen. There was literal feces smeared on the wall. The mattresses have to be 40 years old at least and are stained beyond anything my worst nightmares could come up with. The shared bathrooms were even worse. I can’t believe Expedia even allows a place like this on their site. The health department needs to be called. We left and had to use hand sanitizer just from being in the building.

Tiny room with toilet and hand basin in the shower cubicle. Carpet wet outside of shower. Beds comfortable. 7.00 p.m and had to ask that workmen stopped drilling and making a noise. Told they normally work to 9 or 10 pm. Not far from Falkirk town but need car.

You get what you pay for, the room nice enough but there cracked paint and the pilows were very small but for the price it was well worth . comftable bed and clean. Maybe tad nosy from other guests as walls aren't thick so maybe a set of ear plugs and your good to go.

It was only an overnight stay to cut down on travel. The hotel is very shabby and run down. The restaurant next door that is advertised is shut down. The toilet and shower are a foot apart and you can literally sit on the toilet and take a shower.

It was very suitable for the beginning of our pitstop tour of the east coast. The gentleman who was at the desk on Tuesday evening was very friendly and very helpful. Spent no longer than 5 minutes here. Wouldn’t have let my dog sleep in the room provided. Requested a refund at the front desk which they agreed to but told me to sort it through hotel.com. When I tried sorting with Hotel.com they said the hotel wouldn’t grant the refund and there was nothing they could do. Lost out on around £500. Poor service from both Metro Inn and Hotel.Com, wouldn’t recommend using either of them for anything. Save your money and use other services.

Health hazard. Do NOT book here, we did not stay and have been refused a refund. Reception staff hang up on guests attempting to get a refund. The receptionist (who I am not allowed to name) is rude and abrupt, excuses everything by saying “budget hotel, what do you expect?”, when you advise her that you do not expect mould in the room she has no answer. Unsure if the manager exists as always seems to be night shift (probably to avoid unhappy guests). Have had to pass to lawyers to claim back as this hotel is severely falsely advertised and below standard. Unless you want to stay with mould and dirty carpets, a shower you’d need to wear your shoes to get in then you should avoid this.

Booked for a one night stop over as we approached Falkirk without properly checking the amenities properly. There was only a wash basin in the room - the shower and toilet were shared. Wouldn’t have booked if we’d realised. As we pulled up in the car park there was someone leaning out of his window smoking weed. The car park was untidy compared to the Premier Inn next door. The tea/coffee machine in the reception was out of order. That said the staff were polite and friendly, the room was clean and the bed was quite comfy. Of course it was a bargain price and it was our fault for not reading the description properly. As a one night stop over it was fine. The Chinese restaurant almost next door was very good and it was a 45 minute walk to the Kelpies.

Definitely pet friendly. Bedding was clean and room secure. For the price paid (average less than half the others within a 50 mile radius) you expect a few niggles, but nothing that would stop me staying again. Ideal base for Kelpies, Falkirk Wheel, and train to Edinburgh (in Fringe season). Ideal for a one or two night stopover, which is probably why it is so popular with tradespeople. Very good value for money.

the service was brilliant, specially from Mrs Paula. However the hotel is not situated anywhere close to the centre of the town and the travelling there is not the easiest as there’s no Uber service and gaped to find a taxi or a shop nearby.

My first time at a Metro so not sure what to expect the Kitchen looked fully equipped I did not use, a lot of the fridges looked full. Plenty of signs saying what not to do camera's are in the kitchen saying do not use other peoples food etc. I have not stayed in a hotel with shared facilities so wanted to give it a go. The reception is maned 24 hours give room keys in when going out each time to save lost keys. The room was clean no kettles in the room bot are in the kitchen with a coffee tea machine in the entrance . The post code I had took me across the road to the Premier hotel not sure why. A buffet place is next door with a Pub across the road at the Premier hotel

Booked for a one night stop over as we approached Falkirk without properly checking the amenities properly. There was only a wash basin in the room - the shower and toilet were shared. Wouldn’t have booked if we’d realised. As we pulled up in the car park there was someone leaning out of his window smoking weed. The car park was untidy compared to the Premier Inn next door. The tea/coffee machine in the reception was out of order. That said the staff were polite and friendly, the room was clean and the bed was quite comfy. Of course it was a bargain price and it was our fault for not reading the description properly. As a one night stop over it was fine. The Chinese restaurant almost next door was very good and it was a 45 minute walk to the Kelpies.

Good price for a night with shared bathroom, it's clean enough, also has a kitchen, even though we didn't use it, there is a Chinese buffet and Italian restaurant next to it.

Formula 1-achtig hotel, dus eenvoudig, en goed genoeg als je niet komt voor luxe. Toilet en douche op de gang. Aangrenzend twee restaurants en aan de overkant een pub. Er is ook een selfcatering kitchen, dus als je koffie wil maken, brood wil roosteren of een ready meal in de magnetron stoppen, dat kan allemaal. Bestek, serviesgoed en koelkast aanwezig. Gesitueerd in de driehoek Gasgow/Stirling/Edinburgh.

Definitely pet friendly. Bedding was clean and room secure. For the price paid (average less than half the others within a 50 mile radius) you expect a few niggles, but nothing that would stop me staying again. Ideal base for Kelpies, Falkirk Wheel, and train to Edinburgh (in Fringe season). Ideal for a one or two night stopover, which is probably why it is so popular with tradespeople. Very good value for money.
