Springfield Hotel & Health Club

It was friendly, clean, efficient, in good condition. The spa was great - lovely jacuzzi outdoors with wonderful view. Breakfast for me as a gluten free vegetarian was not worth £19. Not really worth £9. Everything else was good value for money.

You know your in the right place when the car park is full. Restaurant food is excellent, place is spotless, lawns like bowling greens and staff were friendly. Safe car park and free parking. I'd stay again. Not disappointed, glad I booked it and I'd do it again. Hope your stay is as good as mine.

I cannot fault this hotel. My partner and I had a lovely two-night stay. We opted for a classic double room and (unlike other standard double rooms I’ve stayed in, where you can barely move around the bed) it was a great sized room with a huge bed. Our stay included breakfast and it was very good - hot buffet and also cold bits (ham, cheese, yoghurt and fruit, croissants, etc) - something for everyone. Restaurant 32A was so good we had two dinners and a lunch there - the food was really good, staff were attentive without hovering, manager was great. We swapped tables at one point because it had a slight wobble, and the restaurant manager had fixed it by the next morning. There is no swimming pool in the spa but there is a large sheltered spa bath/hot tub out on a terrace which is really lovely and perfect to dip into after enjoying the sauna and steam room. The gym has lots of equipment and also some classes in the studio if you get up early enough! The changing rooms were spotless. We each had a 60 min massage during our stay, which was excellent. My partner has eczema and the oils they use are all natural and were very nourishing for his skin. There isn’t much in the local area in terms of places to go. A couple of nice restaurants and some pubs, but all are quite far from each other so not viable unless somebody in the party is willing to drive. Thankfully the hotel bar is such a nice environment that staying in the hotel is no hardship. Would absolutely stay again.

We had last minute offer and were given nice first floor room at rear hotel (no sea view) which unfortunately was accessed by stairs. This meant hauling heavy suitcases upstairs but help was offered by the receptionist. All staff were friendly and helpful.

There is no chance of missing breakfast, as once it stops, brunch comes out, and when that stops, lunch starts...👍👍👍 All the amenities are more than adequate, with use of the Gym etc..... All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly .....and a big thank to Simon for making me well so welcome upon my arrival and throughout my stay....👍

Fantastic spa. Brilliant customer service. Facilities were amazing. Food was Devine and above all great atmosphere.

Friendly staff and good food. Most of the rooms have been upgraded and are pleasant enough. If you have time there’s a sauna, steam room and hot tub!

I only stayed on night. The bar and food were very good. I never used the gym but hear it is very good. The rooms were adequate. There was a problem with the toilet in my room, but was moved to another really quickly. Very friendly staff.

I had travelled up to attend a funeral in the nearby location, with the wake at the hotel, where we had a lovely buffet. My room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. All the staff were very friendly and I was made to feel very welcome, the food was very nice and well presented The Manager even carried my bags out to the outdoor seating area where my sisters were seated. I have no complaints

The hotel received my family and I at a later time than expected. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Rooms very clean with lovely facilities.

Overall brilliant stay with everything we needed, hotel was clean and staff friendly. Only thing that let the stay down was the room soundproofing - you could hear everything from adjacent rooms and above, especially with TV noise.

I found the Springfield to be a standard travelling business hotel - sparkling clean bathroom but run of the mill furniture with no minibar or tea available; only coffee. However, the hotel has an excellent restaurant and spa, with great service and helpfulness by the staff - in particular the hotel manager and the housekeeping staff. They looked after me superbly well, and I appreciated the way they bent the rules to accomodate an injury I incurred.

Great location with easy access to the A55 North Wales Expressway. The 32A restaurant is outstanding - good value and excellent choice and quality of food. Highly recommend and will plan to stay again. Rooms comfortable, clean and spacious.

Amazing Spa hotel, we were looked after from arriving to leaving. We were upgraded FOC from a 4 poster to the suite which was amazing, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the spa was great and staff again were brilliant. We ate in the restaurant which was really nice with a great selection. Our room/suite was huge and we loved having it. We would definitely recommend this place

Hotel was good, staff very friendly. Rooms were very clean but walls to next room was very thin and could hear the neighbours all night moving around

Lovely spa, restaurant and public areas which had been recently renovated. Rooms basic but functional. Staff excellent and very helpful.

Have used this hotel as a base when working in Flint. Its in a good position and the prices are reasonable. Staff are very pleasant and helpful and food is good. Will be using it again in the near future.

The facilities and food superseded the 3 star rating. The beef on the Sunday dinner was the best beef I’ve tasted. The jacuzzi in the morning looking over a beautiful sun rise has set me up for the week. My new favourite hotel in the area.

A good stay. The only thing that spoilt it was closing the restaurant early. The menu says food available until 21:30 on Friday and Saturday and they stopped taking orders at 9.

What you would expect from a hotel at this level , bar snacks poor quality , my wife left half of her cheese ( not much of that) and chutney sandwich , my club sandwich of average quality - two coffees and two sandwiches for £25 - perhaps if good quality . Breakfast ok but bacon like shoe leather . Would choose somewhere else next time
