We thoroughly enjoyed our four day stay at the New Inn. Paul & Debbie and all their staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. The breakfasts we all freshly prepared with plenty of choice and beautifully prepared. We had three evening meals all of which were excellent. There were no meals served after 5:00pm on a Sunday though they do Sunday roasts up to 5:00pm. There was a good selection of pub favourites plus four smaller serving main courses. There was also a specials board with the pie of the day, soup of the day, pate of the day etc. All locally sourced and prepared in house. The portions were generous. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The bedrooms are accessed up a fairly steep staircase but there are rails both sides. All in all and excellent place for a break away. We were most certainly well looked after and would highly recommend this venue.

We had a lovely Bank holiday stay at The New Inn in Winchelsea. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the food was amazing. I had the biggest pie I've ever seen! The bread at breakfast is gorgeous. Room had little niggles like the heaters were not working, I couldn't get the blinds down and there was a lovely swinging sign outside the room creaking. Other than those little issues we have a great time....Lovely cosy vibe. We highly recommend.

Lovely bright room, spotlessly clean as was the bathroom. The pub is very old and quirky with low doorways and sloping floors but that's it's charm. The staff are friendly and helpful and breakfast was really good. Evening pub meals were tasty and very well priced. Overall a pleasant place to stay in a beautiful village ( though it is actually officially a tow!)

This is the 2nd time of us staying but we have been there several times for Sunday dinner. Staff are always polite and helpful, food is good and reasonable in price. Located in a beautiful small village of Winchelsea
