The farm was easy to find and there was good parking. There was a warm welcome and the room was clean and bright with a good range of facilities. The guest information folder was extremely helpful and the wifi was good. The sleeping accommodation was to a good standard and, being in the country, there was no noise. The home-cooked beakfast was excellent and there was a full range of English and continental items to choose from. An excellence experience and I would recommend the property for a one or two night stay.

We stayed at the cottage and it was a lovely place to stay with children. It’s within a working farm in a secluded area but accessible through well kept roads. The view from the bedrooms and living rooms is special, you can see the sunrise and enjoy the silent dark night. The area is very quiet and specially dark at night, we enjoyed driving slowly to spot the wildlife and it’s lovely for stargazing if the weather is kind to you. The cottage itself is well kept and nicely equipped: there are toys for the children, table games, a TV with a DVD and lots of movies and books available. The kitchen has everything you need, even a slow cooker, and the host even gave us some farm eggs that were delicious for breakfast. Plan ahead as the closest store is a bit of a 20 minutes drive away. The rooms were cozy and comfortable. The shower is on the small side but the toilet room itself is spacious. The hosts were super attentive and caring. The cottage has access to a back garden. The accommodation has a playground and you can access the farm, but it was too muddy this time. You can get to the main touristic attractions within 20-40 minutes driving and there are nice restaurants in the area (we ate at the Twice Brewed Inn and the Greenhead hotel, both lovely quality meals). Overall we loved our stay and would love to come back.

Brilliant B&B in peaceful surroundings.Very friendly and couldn’t do enough to help you. Place was clean and had everything I needed including Spacious en-suite bathroom. There is also a large lounge for guests to relax in. Delicious breakfast-will definitely be back, a great base for walking, cycling or exploring the area.

Kellagh Farm is a little off the beaten track as it is still a working farm, but perfectly placed for a stay whilst visiting Hadrian’s Wall and in an idyllic location. There is plenty of parking and amenities at the b&b are fantastic. The rooms have everything you need and there are also shared areas to have brew and chat next to a fire. A really great property at a fantastic price.

This cottage was perfect for our walking on Hadrians walk..Great location, Dog friendly, clean and comfortable. We could have just done with some milk in the fridge, but there is a supermarket in Haltwistle 10 minutes drive away if you forget anything. Great little enclosed garden for star gazing! We didn’t do any cooking as we ate out, but most utensils seemed available in the kitchen, but you would need to bring everything else, no seasonings or oil etc..there’s also a washing machine if needed! Great stay for us

Very friendly with exceptional personal service. Lovely spot - well worth the adventure. Large comfortable lounge with lots of local maps and information. Bedrooms very comfortable. Breakfast definitely not one for the calorie counters ! Well worth a stay. Superb.

We had bed and breakfast at Kellah Farm and wow was it worth what we paid. The owners made ys very welcome. The room was so cosy and spotlessly clean with a lovely view comfy bed and pillows, tea and coffe , lovely biscuits and a sweet dish. Everything you need in the bathroom and lovely big soft towels. The breakfast was amazing and tasted lovely. I couldnt find any fault at all with this b+b and would thoroughly recommend it. Thank you Kellah farm.

Peaceful, quiet, spotless, nice details everywhere, making your stay very comfortable. The breakfast excellent, great food, many choices, the service was kind and pleasant. Everything was delicious. A couple of miles from the main road, totally worth the drive, the landscape is beautiful.

A beautiful, rural retreat. Wonderful facilities, extremely clean and homely. Comfortable bed with lots of in room extras, like home made shortbread, fresh milk with a mini fridge to store it in, lovely toiletries and a modern bathroom. Breakfast was freshly cooked using local produce, hence the brilliant taste. Excellent hosts who were so helpful, kind and genuinely interested and keen to assist and make our stay as nice as possible. Highly recommended.

I stayed here after a particularly wet day walking the Pennine Way. Lesley, the owner, was so friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, warm and good facilities. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice. It’s somewhere I’d definitely like to go back to.

Lovely comfortable, clean accommodation. In an fab location. All the extra touches are so appreciated and above and beyond e.g sewing kit in the large and comfortable lounge, home made biscuits in the room. Comfy beds and pillows and endless hot water. The hosts are super friendly and don’t mind you eating takeaway in the dining room in the evening. Breakfast was amazing!! We will definitely return.

I contacted the host and said I would be arriving around 9pm. The host was there to greet me and showed me to my room and have clear instructions. Breakfast was very good being a vegetarian Leslie gave me halloumi. The choose was on the level of the best hotels. Great night's sleep. Fantastic lounge for solo use of guests. Due to early departure the host provided an early breakfast.

The area is very quiet and specially dark at night, we enjoyed driving slowly to spot the wildlife and it’s lovely for stargazing if the weather is kind to you. The cottage itself is well kept and nicely equipped: there are toys for the children, table games, a TV with a DVD and lots of movies and books available. The kitchen has everything you need, even a slow cooker, and the host even gave us some farm eggs that were delicious for breakfast. Plan ahead as the closest store is a bit of a 20 minutes drive away. The rooms were cozy and comfortable. The shower is on the small side but the toilet room itself is spacious. The hosts were super attentive and caring. The cottage has access to a back garden. The accommodation has a playground and you can access the farm, but it was too muddy this time. You can get to the main touristic attractions within 20-40 minutes driving and there are nice restaurants in the area (we ate at the Twice Brewed Inn and the Greenhead hotel, both lovely quality meals). Overall we loved our stay and would love to come back.

Wenn mal etwas anderes möchte, mit viel Ruhe, dann ist dies perfekt. 10 Minuten von Haltwhistle über kleine und enge Straßen. Vielleicht nicht nachts empfehlenswert. Lesley ist eine gute Gastgeberin und serviert feine und abwechslungsreiche Frühstücke.

The cottage is a great size with large bedrooms, a large kitchen diner and a relaxing living room. The heating is very efficient, so we were warm and cosy. The location makes Northumberland very accessible and Hadrian's Wall is only a short drive away.

Had a wonderfull stay, lovely breakfast and spotlessly clean 3 miles from Haltwhistle down small roads but not a problem by car. Lovely walks locally. Also caught the train from Haltwhistle into Edinburgh (booked tickets in advance)

The farm was easy to find and there was good parking. There was a warm welcome and the room was clean and bright with a good range of facilities. The guest information folder was extremely helpful and the wifi was good. The sleeping accommodation was to a good standard and, being in the country, there was no noise. The home-cooked beakfast was excellent and there was a full range of English and continental items to choose from. An excellence experience and I would recommend the property for a one or two night stay.

Peaceful, quiet, spotless, nice details everywhere, making your stay very comfortable. The breakfast excellent, great food, many choices, the service was kind and pleasant. Everything was delicious. A couple of miles from the main road, totally worth the drive, the landscape is beautiful.

A beautiful, rural retreat. Wonderful facilities, extremely clean and homely. Comfortable bed with lots of in room extras, like home made shortbread, fresh milk with a mini fridge to store it in, lovely toiletries and a modern bathroom. Breakfast was freshly cooked using local produce, hence the brilliant taste. Excellent hosts who were so helpful, kind and genuinely interested and keen to assist and make our stay as nice as possible. Highly recommended.

I stayed for one night following a long hike along Hadrian's Wall. Beautifully located close to the wall, but far away enough to feel extra secluded and peaceful. The host couldn't have been more helpful, and the breakfast superb. Comfortable bed, hot shower/bath and lovely little touches in the room. Will most definitely return.

The hostess, farmer's wife, Lesley, was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her. The accommodation is on Kellah Farm in beautiful countryside. Would recommend it for a visit.

The breakfast was easily the best I’ve had in my entire trip to the UK. Everything was fresh and amazing. The proprietor was polite and very nice and extremely helpful. The room was clean and tastefully appointed and everything worked great. I would highly recommend this B&B.
