Very beautiful property, especially the vegetation and the spa. The concierge was excellent as it was the staff serving breakfast. The receptionist was not very attentive, I would say even impolite, showing some frustration amd addressing us with little patience.

This is a very nice hotel. We had a comfortable room in a god condition. The service (housekeeping, restaurants, beach) were top notch. Two things: - the ocean was choppy during our stay. They have no control over that, of course, but the pools should be heated. With the pool ice cold, there was no comfortable swimming option. - drinks on the beach are north of $30 but if you are booking a room here you can afford it

It’s a nice hotel with beautiful rooms, but I don’t think it should be rated as a 5-star property. They lacked some basic amenities that most hotels provide, such as slippers, and we had to ask for toothbrushes and toothpaste twice before receiving them. Except for Aylin, I didn’t find the other staff to be well-trained or particularly pleasant. They have two nice outdoor pools, but the water is so cold that you can’t get into them. The food was 8/10 — I enjoyed it. Overall, it’s okay, but I wouldn’t stay here again.

The resort was a luxury experience with remarkable staff and stunning views. The designated pool areas were a treat and the surrounding community was well maintained and safe. We encourage you to keep bug repellant handy when visiting between June and September.

Be Tulum was wonderful—the staff, the room, the plunge pool, the spa, the atmosphere, the food—and I loved the free breakfast. However, there were two, quite large, issues that I did have with the hotel: (1) There were a lot of added-on service "gratuity fees." I was charged a $42 gratuity fee for using the minibar. That was worth more than anything that was in the minibar, which was old and stale; (2) once I added up my bill, after I left, it was incorrect by over $100.

Be was fantastic. The service & staff, room & amenities, property & layout – all of it just top notch. We stayed in the Premium Beachfront Suite and were blown away with the view, the plunge pool, the space, design and confort. We dined at 4 Fuegos, Maresais, Kuu (sister property next door) and Macondo (sister property next door); everything was delicious. Also loved the Mayan Clay Massage on the beach deck overlooking the water. Overall a stellar stay and everything was above our expectations. We will definitely come back.

Beautiful, cozy bohemian hotel right in the jungle! The only thing that wasn’t so great was how humid the room was. It was so humid in the room it started to warp our passports and make the room smell.

Wonderful resort. Friendly staff. Some areas of our rooms needed attention. One section of Shower ceiling was peeling off and falling down. Not that big of a deal for us , but for the amount of money we spent this shouldn’t have been the case. Same thing was happening on our roof top pool, the shaded wood area was collapsing so we were afraid to lay down and relax there as intended. But the common area environment and the vibe of the resort compensated for the little flaws.

Al llegar, pagué por un upgrade de habitación, pero me cobraron dos veces, y aún no he recibido el reembolso. La habitación tenía una piscina, pero una puerta que daba acceso a la piscina no se podía abrir porque la madera de la puerta estaba hinchada. Además, encontré lagartijas muertas afuera, lo que indica una limpieza deficiente. Aunque la habitación estaba limpia en general, estos problemas de mantenimiento y limpieza no son aceptables para un hotel de esta categoría. El servicio del personal si fue excelente. Todos muy amables y atentos. Un aspecto crítico fue la falta de generadores de energía. El sábado, hubo un apagón en Tulum que duró desde la mañana hasta la tarde, afectando el aire acondicionado, el internet y el suministro de agua del hotel. Aunque el hotel afirmó que el apagón afectaba a toda la zona, descubrí que otros hoteles vecinos tenían generadores y operaban con normalidad. Tuve que pasar el día en un hotel vecino porque yo me quedé sin aire acondicionado, sin internet, sin poderme bañar, ni lavar los dientes o las manos o usar el inodoro. I’m so happy I found this resort. The Air Suite we booked was a dream come true and felt like a treehouse. It was private, surrounded by palm trees and the concrete and wood gave it a soothing minimalist feel that was so relaxing and comforting. The dual shower…exquisite. The best part was the private rooftop deck and plunge pool. We had total privacy and felt surrounded in beauty. The free breakfast was delicious with good options and the hotel restaurant was unbelievable. Their breakfast and dinner service was outstanding. You must try the squid and shrimp empanadas. Our room steward, Raquel, was so kind and accommodating whether it was restaurant suggestions or helping us navigate the area to even making sure we were comfortable. The front desk is also so friendly and helpful. I cannot recommend this resort highly enough. It was truly a dream come true experience and we cannot wait to return, the staff made us feel like we are family.

If I could give Be Tulum a higher rating, I would. This hotel is so special and unique. We stayed in the alcove suite with a plunge pool. It was like we were tucked away in the jungle. So peaceful, serene, and lots of privacy. The room was unique and clean, and the air conditioner was a nice relief from the heat. The restaurants here had amazing food, with beautiful views. The staff overall—from the front desk, to restaurants, and maids—were wonderful. Very attentive and polite. The concierge checked in daily, was super helpful in booking taxis and ATVs, and offered suggestions for other things to do. This was helpful since the seaweed was in full effect, but it didn't take away from the stay or the trip. It was still beautiful, could go in the ocean and lay on the beach beds. Don't let that stop you from booking!

Raquel, our concierge, was excellent throughout our stay! Our room was beautiful and spacious. The entire property was gorgeous with the staff being extra attentive and friendly. We are already dreaming of our next trip to Tulum!

The property while a bit remote it was everything i hoped for. The staff was very friendly and courteous. Our room was exactly as pictured. The food at the beach front restaurant was AMAZING! Thank you for the hospitality, can’t wait to visit again!

Be Tulum is a solid 3 or 4 star property. The food was excellent and the staff was friendly and welcoming. It’s a more off the beaten path type of hotel which is not necessarily my type of vibe. The rooms need to be updated for the price they are charging (water temp fluctuates and wifi is ok). Trying this hotel one time was enough for us. I also wouldn’t stay there more than two nights. Overall, an OK hotel.
Be Tulum is a solid 3 or 4 star property. The food was excellent and the staff was friendly and welcoming. It’s a more off the beaten path type of hotel which is not necessarily my type of vibe. The rooms need to be updated for the price they are charging (water temp fluctuates and wifi is ok). Trying this hotel one time was enough for us. I also wouldn’t stay there more than two nights. Overall, an OK hotel.

The resort and the rooms are beautiful. But the service was pretty awful from our experience. Staff ks friendly but pointless when it came to basic things. We had a broken light outside of our room entrance and we repeatedly asked them to fix it daily and it was not fixed until our last night after my husband had a stern talk with them. It was dangerous to walk in and out of our room in the darkness, a total safety hazard. Basic things like face clothes were not replenished during cleaning and housekeeping kept the doors opened during service which welcomed a a swarm of mosquitos into our room. If you like a beautiful jungle setting and don’t mind getting eaten alive by mosquitos, then this is your spot!

Be was fantastic. The service & staff, room & amenities, property & layout – all of it just top notch. We stayed in the Premium Beachfront Suite and were blown away with the view, the plunge pool, the space, design and confort. We dined at 4 Fuegos, Maresais, Kuu (sister property next door) and Macondo (sister property next door); everything was delicious. Also loved the Mayan Clay Massage on the beach deck overlooking the water. Overall a stellar stay and everything was above our expectations. We will definitely come back.

Very beautiful property, especially the vegetation and the spa. The concierge was excellent as it was the staff serving breakfast. The receptionist was not very attentive, I would say even impolite, showing some frustration amd addressing us with little patience.

Just spent 6 days at Be Tulum and it was fantastic. The staff are friendly and every attentive and the hotel was immaculately well kept, even with the seaweed that is in season right now. Concierge service was great (ours was July and she took care of everything). Food was great too, and the atmosphere magical. Highly recommend!

The property is amazing! The service of the waiters is pretty good. But all other staff is terrible, it has always been the same. For years I have stayed in this hotels (Nomade and Be) and it’s a shame they treat you so poorly. The reason I always stay is because of the location and beautiful facilities. They always have people in training, and poorly trained.

Stay away from this hotel. They charged another room bill to my credit card and haven’t returned the money yet. I have contacted them several times, the management doesn’t care. I booked airport pickup only to realize they messed up, there was nobody there to pickup. And they claim there was a puncture, but when I asked the driver he wasn’t aware of anything like that. Stay away from this hotel, terrible management

It’s a nice hotel with beautiful rooms, but I don’t think it should be rated as a 5-star property. They lacked some basic amenities that most hotels provide, such as slippers, and we had to ask for toothbrushes and toothpaste twice before receiving them. Except for Aylin, I didn’t find the other staff to be well-trained or particularly pleasant. They have two nice outdoor pools, but the water is so cold that you can’t get into them. The food was 8/10 — I enjoyed it. Overall, it’s okay, but I wouldn’t stay here again.

Worst experience ever! Do not stay here. Staff purposely hold out on running the charges until you check out and then demand cash. They want you to be late for your flight so you will feel pressured to pay cash. Amenities were non existent and drinks were over priced and watered down. Terrible experience!!!

I’m so happy I found this resort. The Air Suite we booked was a dream come true and felt like a treehouse. It was private, surrounded by palm trees and the concrete and wood gave it a soothing minimalist feel that was so relaxing and comforting. The dual shower…exquisite. The best part was the private rooftop deck and plunge pool. We had total privacy and felt surrounded in beauty. The free breakfast was delicious with good options and the hotel restaurant was unbelievable. Their breakfast and dinner service was outstanding. You must try the squid and shrimp empanadas. Our room steward, Raquel, was so kind and accommodating whether it was restaurant suggestions or helping us navigate the area to even making sure we were comfortable. The front desk is also so friendly and helpful. I cannot recommend this resort highly enough. It was truly a dream come true experience and we cannot wait to return, the staff made us feel like we are family.

Il soggiorno è stato praticamente perfetto. La camera è molto spaziosa, pulita e dotata di ogni comfort compresa di piscina nel giardino privato e totalmente immersa nel verde. Ovunque si è circondati da piante e silenzio. Ci sono due ristoranti di buonissima qualità con un attenzione al cliente particolare. Colazione ottima: compreso nel prezzo si può avere piatto di frutta, basket di pane con marmellata e croissant, caffetteria e un piatto a scelta dal menu… ed è tutto buonissimo. Spiaggia molto spaziosa e dotata di ogni comfort, servizio in spiaggia molto attento e veloce. Se proprio devo trovare un difetto può essere la presenza di lavori edili accanto e qualche volta si è sentito qualche rumore in spiaggia ma, si sta talmente bene che spesso non ci si fa nemmeno caso. Compreso nel soggiorno si può usufruire anche di alcuni servizi (come ad esempio lezioni di yoga) della struttura accanto, il Nomad, che fa parte della stessa proprietà. Wifi sempre presente, praticamente anche in acqua! È sempre triste rientrare dalle vacanze… ma questa volta è stato davvero più difficile del solito!

Unforntunately this time not so much. here were the unfavorable issues this time: breakfast was not included as it was the last 3 vsists. they gave you one option which based on the menu price was more expense than the yogurt listed which i chose. water stopped working

The hotel is nice and our room was good but the hotel has raccoons roaming the property. At one point, a raccoon entered our room and opened the minibar. I alerted the staff who tried to shrug it off by saying “we are in the wild with them”. We couldn’t sleep at all as the raccoon knocked on our glass sliding door a few times during the nigbt to see if it could slide it open or we left it unlocked … Terrifying.

I stayed in this hotel for 7 days. The room and setting were good and the customer service was excellent, they always answered my questions and helped me when I needed it, room service always answered right away and the food was in my room in minutes. They assisted with every question about recommendations and hotel amenities. There’s a couple things that I would like to highlight, a hold of $150 for each day of your stay is made on your card which was not disclosed anywhere before we arrived. All the snacks/ drinks in the room are kind of pricey and not included in your stay which is kind of crazy since the price of the stay is already high. We had plenty of raccoons visiting, the only issue is that they peed in the pool and were getting inside, we also found a bat, we took it out so it wouldn’t drawn. But I would not recommend getting a room with pool if your skin is sensitive. The water went out almost every day at certain point of the day and came back after a while. The light also went out a couple times during different days. Internet connection is not the best but not the worst. The hotel food is pricey and is not very good. The location is a little bit far from everything about 30 min from the main restaurant/ bar locations. But I do got to say that the room was always clean, they come clean your room twice a day and they are super friendly! The staff from the massage area are also super nice and sweet people and the massages were amazing. We had the best sleep.
I stayed in this hotel for 7 days. The room and setting were good and the customer service was excellent, they always answered my questions and helped me when I needed it, room service always answered right away and the food was in my room in minutes. They assisted with every question about recommendations and hotel amenities. There’s a couple things that I would like to highlight, a hold of $150 for each day of your stay is made on your card which was not disclosed anywhere before we arrived. All the snacks/ drinks in the room are kind of pricey and not included in your stay which is kind of crazy since the price of the stay is already high. We had plenty of raccoons visiting, the only issue is that they peed in the pool and were getting inside, we also found a bat, we took it out so it wouldn’t drawn.
