Halls were not vacuumeed, paint was peeling on the walls, very little professionalism, paper signs all over, at one point the only elevator wasnt working but they only had a sign on one floor, the pool was foamy, back door security lock was broken, our a/c poured water into our room and we had a personal pool in between the beds when we woke up. Their was a cop posted up across the street and always a bunch of people by the back doors smoking and sittting around in their cars. Free breakfast was not enticing. The kiddos even commented on how tiny the bath towels were. The tv wouldnt let us sign into any streaming services but kept rolling through the options. Couch cushions in the entry way were missing. Old a/c units were stacked in the main level hallway along with ironing boards(like it was scrap metal storage).

The entire hotel smelled terrible. Like pot and BO. None of the doors on the exterior of the building ever closed correctly. There was trash piled up over 6 feet tall by the door when we arrived. No towels for the pool

There were quiet a few issues with our stay. First, the room wasn't completely clean, the elevator broke with us in it (staff was already aware of elevator issues apparently and told us to use it), pool is barely open, air conditioning didn't work, and breakfast is just ceral/cold walffles/toast.

Room was clean lobby was dated. Service was prompt. Pool was up and running but opens late and closes early! Pool opens at noon closes at 8pm and opens at 2pm on Sundays. If check-in time if check-in time is between 3p-6p and you still have to settle in your room no swimming pool for you. And in the morning no swimming pool foe you it opens after check out time ans oleaae don't let it be Sunday it opens an hour before check-in time.

The deadbolt was misaligned with the strike plate, so it just hit the plate and did not latch. The toilet would not flush. We had been looking forward to using the pool, but then we saw it.

Pool was cloudy. The side doors / back doors never locked so anyone could get in the hotel without the room keys. Parking lot was dirty. Tv asked for Xbox code every 30 mins we had to turn it off and turn it on to reset . We were not feeling safe and didn't get a good sleep there. Will not going back.

Room was acceptably clean. Breakfast was not what I would call breakfast, Toast, Toaster Waffles, cold cereal loaded with chemicals and sugar! Apple juice, and coffee. No breakfast for me, left hungry. The pool was Cold, and had a scum line about 3inches high all the way around.

This place made me very uneasy. Never even opened my room. 1st floor looked okish. But second floor was filthy . Rooms around us were very loud / roudy, a couple sounded like they had 10 people in some of them. One of the doors was very badly damaged. Any positive reviews of this place must be fake. Also pool closes at 8pm. However staff was very nice and understanding of my concerns. They approved me a refund eventhou it was non refundable

This property is filthy. Everything smells like cigarettes and Marijuana. The floors were sticky. The towels were so dirty, even the clean ones they replaced the dirty ones with. Stains on the beds. Extremely loud all night long. Unsafe practices here too, room keys are handed out just by asking, no identification requirements seem to be in place.

The room and the linens were visibly dirty and stained. There were chunks of dirt on the floor of our room. There were pubic hairs in the shower before we had used the bathroom. The pillows had visible, dark yellow stains that could seen through the pillow cases. The carpet in the hall and elevator was visibly soiled. It smelled like cigarettes in the halls. The breakfast room was dirty. The chairs were sticky and the counters were wet. The complimentary breakfast was just a tray of toaster waffles, a tray of sliced white bread, and a plastic container of dry cereal. The mini-fridge held one three quart pitcher of apple juice and one three quart pitcher of milk. The staff were rude and slow. You have to specifically ask for your room to be cleaned. When you check in, they charge you a $100 security deposit on top of the room fee. The towels feel like you're drying yourself with a burlap bag. We checked out a day early because it was so terrible.

DISGUSTING,FILTHY, when I pull the sheets back they were full of hair and brown stains. The floor was sticky. The towels were not clean. There were trash cans full of trash at the entrance. The back door is Unlocked at all times. No hot water. And even though it said you can cancel by a certain date, I was unable to cancel my reservation. I had to go out and buy clean sheets and face towels. The smell hit you as soon as you walked into the lobby. Even if you get this room discounted at $10 dollars a day that would still be to much. Even the windows were nasty. The office chair Aida so filthy that we had to put a towel down first. The bathroom looks like it hasn’t been swept and mopped there was dirt everywhere. I was scared to look at the pool. And the front desk tried to keep my security deposit because I lost the receipt for the deposit.

The smell was very rancid and like old cigarettes. The sheets had stains on them as if they were washed but still dirty. The bathroom was disgusting stains on the walls on the toilet area. The elevator was shaky and old. The employees were mopping the floors with an old mop and it smelled and the pool was cloudy and dirty.

Extremely dirty and unsanitary. Unsafe - exterior back door to building does not shut and residents that live in hotel come and go frequently. Mold stains in bathroom. Unidentifiable substance on ceilings and what can only be described as blood trails leaving down the hallway into the stairwell. Did not feel safe here and left shortly after checking in. They were very nice and did not charge us, so there’s that.

This hotel was clean. I had noisy neighbors because it was the holiday weekend so I didn't mind that too much. The free breakfast wasn't my taste...waffles and cereal. No coffee maker in the room. Microwave in the room didn't work. But I was there for a different purpose, so the room worked just fine for me.

Overall, not terrible, but understand this is a place for people on a budget. We flew up from Florida for a sudden passing of a family member. The rooms were basically clean but you can see the wear & tear from the furniture to the linen. The area has gone a bit downhill since covid. I used to live 2 miles away at 696 & Gratiot area before moving out of state. Since this is a cheaper hotel, it attracts poorer locals (I'm certain there are a few people living here that can't afford a house or apartment). A fight broke out near our window with young people. 3 times during the night on Saturday, loud people coming from the bars woke us up. At 4:45 am, some girl knocked on our door. It was obvious she was at the wrong room but even after we said she was at the wrong room, she persisted to knock until i opened the door and told her to get lost, she had the wrong room. Keep in mind, that's not the hotel's fault, but just an example of our stay. During the week wasn't bad. Just remember it's not the Ritz Carlton.

Overall the stay itself was fine. Not the best hotel but the price was in line with this. However, I called the front desk morning of to ask about check in, and was told that check in was at 3 and early check in was at noon, and would be free if I was a Wyndham rewards member which I am. Arrived at noon and the man at the front desk told me that check in was at 4, early check in wasn’t until 3 and when I told him what the person I called had said, he insisted I must’ve called the wrong number and that they would not have told me that. He then told me that they required a $100 deposit despite the fact I paid with my credit card, which I would assume should be adequate insurance for the hotel. Everyone else was polite and kind, but my first experience with the front desk was off-putting as he was rude, dismissive and essentially called me a liar.

The staff here were wonderful! We arrived right in the middle of a huge snow storm and were greeted warmly by the front desk hostess. We stayed for 2 nights and a male staff member was salting the back walk ways and shoveling. He told us to be careful on the walk along with a “Go Lions!” They tried hard to make it clear but the storm was a lot. The beds were comfortable and room was very clean. It’s dated but worth it. I’d only recommend they update their towels as they are past their prime. I’d stay here again.

This property clearly does a bunch of long term stays. It’s not the cleanest or nicest hotel you’ll ever stay in, but the staff is very friendly and it’s a great price in a good enough neighborhood if you have any business to do in the Detroit area. I would stay here again.

The hotel has people working on cars outside in the parking lot giving a sense of insecure place to be. The halls' carets are all dirty and the place is smelly, elevator was not working, the room looked ok, but the bathroom was not clean, and towels were in a very poor condition, and I was afraid to use them. There were even dirty socks, from previous occupants, in the bathroom floor. I left the same night the hotel because I couldn't live with all the issues, and lack of cleanness. I conveyed the issues to the lady on the front desk and they claim they couldn't return my payment because the afternoon person who did the check-in did it improperly and I was not in the system. A total disappointment!

From the outside and surrounding areas it appears to be your typical hotel, no red flags. Once inside it is very run down. Definitely has people living there long term. Seen people who appeared to be “working” in some of the rooms if you know what I mean. The smell of weed was overwhelming the entire time. Had a guy who was obviously tweaking get very upset cause we got in the elevator with him at the same time and he started yelling and swearing and left the elevator which startled my 10 year old for sure. I will say the housekeepers work hard and try to make your room look nice with that they have to work with. Beds were very stiff. I’ll say for the price, you get what you pay for so don’t think you just found a great deal, you’ll understand the price once you get there.

The hotel wasn’t clean, they never change my towels or clean my room , stay from Friday to Monday and at one point I ask for toilet paper, soap, shampoo and clean towels and they never brought anything, the breakfast is a joke frozen waffles and toast, juice and milk, coffee and 2 cereals, big mistake.

The smell in the whole building was terrible So many smokers and pets and you can definitely tell. Nothing looked clean in my room: I would personally not stay there again. There is nothing professional from the women staff and what kind of breakfast is that? Sorry never again.

I went to the manager and staff several times to ask to be moved because of children playing and several pool parties for their children what’s going on three doors from my game I asked early Saturday morning at 9 AM and they assured me that I would be moved went up to the desk several times they kept saying it was being cleaned it being clean, never was moved. Very very disappointed. Continental graphics was white bread, frozen waffles box a name, cereal, a picture of milk in the refrigerator and a picture of me apple juice and coffee very disappointed no fresh fruit twice there were no cups for coffee never again.

I would not recommend staying here. The floors in our room were sticky. Had to put my shoes on every time I got out of bed. The wall in the bathroom was dirty. The breakfast was terrible. (Frozen waffles or stale cereal) The coffee was ok. We opted for IHop!! The lock on the outside door had been torn out, and our security lock in the room had been ripped off and moved up at some time. Our phone chargers would not stay plugged in, they really need new outlets so the plugs won’t just fall out.
