We were very sad that the pool was not clean..water smelled stagnate and was super cloudy. Other than that our stay was great

The hotel itself is nice and clean. It’s just got a few things that need attention. Entrance to both side doors do not work with the room key. The staff already knew about it. The ice machines were temperamental. Eventually, the staff told me that the only ice machine that worked was on the 4th floor.

Front desk gave exceptional service. My room just didn't have face towels and no cups, which I had to go get (A little inconvenient). The side door whereas you need a key to enter if you parked on the side, didn't work. So anytime I went out the side door, I had to walk all the way around through the front lobby to enter, that was frustrating. Overall, the room was clean and the hotel was nice.

It was quiet at night. Good breakfast. Parking lot was small and the pool was closed. Only one working elevator.

the rooms are nice and the mattresses are good! The hotel was clean. The 2 complains I have are: 1. the water in the pool was very cloudy and the chemical smells were very strong. 2. 2 days in a row, they ran out of breakfast food. The bread and bagels were rock hard and the pancake machine was out of order.

Have stayed here before. Convenient location to needs in the Detroit area. Easy parking. Staff always friendly and helpful. Safe and quiet. (clean room though the bathroom floor was a bit sticky and the wall hooks were missing in bath)

We enjoyed our stay room was actually big and clean staff was amazing. Pool was nice but a little on the small side and no hot tub.

The pool water was cold. That is one of the reasons I booked this hotel.

Everything was nice, we enjoyed our stay…only complaint was the towels were a little rough and the pool could of been warmer.. but that’s just me…overall I would definitely stay there again…the breakfast layout was fantastic!

Liked the friendly and very helpful staff. Other guests were loud and wild-not the fault of the hotel though. Pool could have been bigger. Would have liked to dine in there.

The bathroom was not clean. There was lint and hair along the floor near the bathtub. There’s a tench when you turn the shower on. There was hair in one of the beds, which indicates to me the sheets were not changed from the last guest. I will not stay here again.

It was like a typical Holiday Inn—rooms were comfy, breakfast was good. If you looked closely, there were little things that prevented a 5 star rating: the room could’ve been cleaner, we didn’t ever have Kleenex, there was hair on the floor from previous guests.

Cleanliness was an issue. Stains on the night stand and on the carpet, stains on the pull-out mattress, body wash bottle nearly empty.

I had two room reserved on 6/7/24 for my bridesmaids and I the night before my wedding. When we got to the rooms, they were both FILTHY! Hair all over showers, the floors had not been vacuumed (debris everywhere), stained bedspreads that we were not confident that were washed. Two bath towels and one wash cloth in each room (there were 5 of us total). Toilets did not flush, toilet paper holder hanging off the wall with screws sticking out. It was a nightmare. I have stayed at many many Holiday Inns, I am even a rewards member, and this was a first, I was in shock. I called down to the front desk four times throughout the evening to see if we could switch rooms, or get housekeeping up to clean, or even get towels, and no one ever answered. We had to go down to the front desk late at night, wait 10 minutes for someone to greet us, to ask for bath towels. It was a horrible experience, especially the night before my wedding. I called two days later to discuss my concerns, the front desk clerk said that she missed all my calls because she was dealing with other issues. I left my information for management to call me to discuss my issues. When I had not received a call in a couple days, I called back, was informed that managment has not been in for the last few days. I called everyday for the next three days hoping to speak to management, and I was continuously told that management is not in and they do not know when they will be in. I will NEVER stay at a Holiday Inn again.

Very clean environment. Front desk agent Mahmuda was great and very sweet. She went above and beyond for our needs. Service was great! And of course Holiday Inn always been one of my favorite. Just a little concern that the body wash soup container was empty. Other than that no other complain. Breakfast with many selection was too good. Thank you for your service!

The room had not been throughly vacuumed. It was older looking then in the pictures on the website.

Staff was very friendly. The room walls were dirty.

Everything was ok. The beds were so comfortable and the staff were polite and nice. The only thing I would say is that it was barely hot water. We took cold showers the second day we were there. That needs major improvement.

Convenient to gas station and I94. Room was good size but carpet had many stains..red juice by bed?..and there was only the open weave window shade so the lights outside at night kept room bright and felt like people could see in. But staff was super great and they made stay most pleasant otherwise. Would stay there again, maybe just not that room.

We had quite a few odd occurrences during our stay. The hotel was nice and clean. But we had challenges with our room. I couldn't figure out light switches. Our TV didn't have the appropriate remote to work and someone had to come bring us one and program it. Our trash can was filled with large 13 gallon bags, and after a full night's stay, our devices didn't charge in the USB ports in the room, which were a challenge to engage at all anyway. The pool was super full of rowdy kids and the elevator had a sopping wet floor. The area around the hotel doesn't feel very safe. Likely wouldn't choose to stay here again.

Let me start off by saying the front desk staff was great. The room we got booked in was not so great. First off. We noticed the damp smell in the hallway by the room that we were in then the next morning we noticed the exhaust fan in the bathroom was not working And there was a leak coming from under the sink whenever you run water. It was reported to the front desk, which said they were reported to maintenance but as of when we were there, of course nothing got fixed because I’m sure it was the holiday weekend so we just went to a family members house and did our personal hygiene. Cares once not happy about it because we paid to stay and do what we need to do there full-time not partly there and partly at a family members house housekeeping was lacking a little bit first day for housekeeping to come in. They took the trash took the dirty towels but left one on the floor didn’t bother to pick it up. to take it with.and just gave us fresh towels so the time we were there, we straightened up our own bed went to the front desk and got our own fresh towels and took our own trash out, so not really a happy stay but the hotel rest of it was really nice

Room was nice good size but bathroom exhaust fan didn’t work

Rooms are so dirty and we had to move rooms. Tv didn't work and no door on the bathroom in the first one so they moved us to another one. Not enough TP and evening staff not helpful or friendly. Doors on outside had no access because the handles were broken off. Doesn't seem very safe.

The room was nice. However, the first room was missing a blackout shade for the window. (Evidently people like to take them home.) The second room was just as nice as the first. There was a small amount black lint between the sheet and the comforter. The bathroom was very nice. The sink is a bit shallow in depth.

We didn’t love the area immediately around the hotel , kinda scary driving to the hotel from the highway . When we returned back at 11pm there was a large crowd of people standing around the front of the hotel, I guess they had a party in the hotel and it was over.

1. Why do you have Suites in your name if you don't do Suites? 2. The window Shade was unable to rise. No remote and staff was unable to remedy. 3. Floor Molding near bathroom was missing. 4. Sliding bathroom door was broken and unable to close. 5. TV had two completely different remotes. I showed the Manager photos of the issues so he could address them before using the room again. We had two adjoining rooms reserved for 4 days. We left after 2 days. When exiting the Manager tried to give us points (we are not Members) and suggested that we become members. As a parting gift he offered something from the snack bar. I location was 30300 Gratiot. The rooms were on the 3rd floor possibly 299 and 301. Roch McDowell confirm numbers 25826210 and 44988658

Front desk staff was amazing

Desk staff very patient and helpful.

The staff on every shift was great. I needed a handicapped accessible room and they accommodated my every need. They take very good care of their guests.

The staff at this hotel were wonderful! Our family had so many obstacles non hotel related surrounding our visit and the ladies there helped us each time we needed assistance. The hotel was clean, comfortable and in a great location. Breakfast was great! Well stocked and the attendants there were kind. I’ll be staying here always when visiting the area like I do.

Jason at the front desk was fantastic. He was friendly, professional and helpful, especially by anticipating our needs. For example, he went beyond by suggesting dining venues in the area before we even asked !

The staff was very customer service oriented. They were professional and knowledgeable Best staff ever

1) At check-in, the lady wanted my phone number and email. That's strange because they're already included from my Expedia account at all the other Holiday Inns. She was using that information to sign me up on their membership, which I did NOT consent to or agree with. Within 15 minutes, I was getting spam email from them. The lady probably gets some bonus for signing people up, although this practice is illegal. 2) They advertise "breakfast included", but there was NO breakfast. There was a sign in the breakfast area that said "Sorry, no breakfast". They should have offered each guest an automatic discount for the inconvenience, but they didn't. They just keep all the money and offer no breakfast. 3) There was a noisy party starting around 12:30 AM. While loud guests isn't directly the hotel's fault, the non-working room phone is their fault. I had to look them up on my cellphone and call the front desk to complain. 4) The lady on the phone said the hotel has a noise policy at 12:30 AM, but the party continued, so she didn't call them to stop. 5) Two of the bulbs in my room didn't work. I was so fed up with the poor management and shady practices of this hotel, I didn't even bother to tell anyone. Just wanted to leave. I've stayed at many Holiday Inn Expresses before. They are not all bad like this one. Unfortunately, IHG allows some of these shady franchises into their group.

I enjoyed working with Morgan. She was very helpful and helped me tremendously with my accommodations and additional questions on the area. Morgan was a true gem, and is an asset to your organization!

Great hotel to stay at , stayed here 5 times ,and never had an issue. Staff is super nice room was clean , just wish they put more towels and alarm clocks in the room . Stores , and dining conveniently near by . Roseville super nice suburb of Detroit.

We were looking for a hotel close to where we needed to be and booked this one. Staff was great and helped us with anything we needed. Rooms were a good size and comfortable. Breakfast was great. No complaints!

Loved the oatmeal and hot cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Clean, quiet room. Makeup remover wipes would’ve been a nice touch (we had them at a similar site in Brighton Mi the prior day).

Parking was fine but breakfast didn’t seem fresh

We stayed here several days a year ago and the staff was friendly, the building was very clean and breakfast was well-cared-for. This year, front desk staff was friendly, but the building was very dirty and breakfast was disappointing --- weak coffee and the kiitchen staff was not pleasant.

Good hotel, safe area. Non-smoking room, but previous tenant clearly smoked. Fridge didn't work, but they sent up a replacement. Turned out to be the outlet. Repaired next morning. Friendly attentive staff, great breakfast.

Had the worst customer experience ive ever experienced. Was extremely poor treated by staff and manager. Breakfast closes at 10am and at 9:30am there was no food and I was told to not be slow and show up for breakfast early.
