Service excellent in the main (but breakfast hot food was particularly slow). Lovely rooms. Gorgeous lounge and bar area. Lovely grounds. Excellent 👌

Room dated, doors hanging off furniture, huge draft through balcony doors, woke up freezing at 3am. Heating off all night. Food in grill had steak, was 50% gristle. This was a gift from my daughter and we were all so disappointed. Staff don’t want to help, asked for duty manager, said they could t find them. Have stayed in much much better hotels for a lot less money. Massage was ok, spa needs refurb, tiles missing, steam room door doesn’t close, robes threadbare. Honestly don’t waste your time or money

We had a wonderful 3 night stay just after the New Year. The hotel is full of character, and the room we had was clean, spacious and well appointed. Service and food amazing. Not cheap but well worth the price given the experience we had.
