We stayed here for a lacrosse tournament and it seemed to be a “tournament hotel”. Lots of teams and a Conduct Commitment Document had to be signed at check in. The breakfast was good. They have a good laundry facility, ice on each floor, a VERY small pool (3’ deep) a jacuzzi and a 24/7 sundries/snack shop. Checked the right boxes for this trip.

We normally like Holiday Inn express, however, there was a bedbug on top of the very white sheet, which we had a little trouble killing, we took the bug down to the front desk and a male employee Confirmed it was indeed a bedbug. We had to change rooms late at night, which consisted of repacking all our belongings, putting them on a cart and taking them from the fourth floor to the first floor, which was a tremendous inconvenience. We have filled out one of these forms before and awaiting a reply.

This was literally one of the cleanest (if not the cleanest) hotel I've ever stayed at. Our room was immaculate! Probably could have passed a military inspection. The lady who checked us out the next morning was so nice. Can't wait to return!

We were assigned a room that had not been cleaned (bed was unmade). Receptionist came upstairs with a new room key. The 2nd room had black hair in the sink and lint on the unvaccumed floor. And the toilet was running constantly. Finally on the 3rd room, we were given a clean, properly prepared room that was consistent with IHG standards.

Overall the stay was good. However, the bathroom clearly wasnt cleaned properly because there was urine when you lifted the toilet seat and there was dirt under the vanity area. Also there was no coffee pot in the room and the mini kitchen had no utensils/plates/cups etc

The property was dirty, we had many issues upon check-in, which we wound up taking about two hours. When we gave 24 hours notice that we would not need one of the rooms for an additional night, the very rude, gentle manager, Kelli, refused to refund us. We are currently fighting that through American Express.

It was clean, breakfast was way better than expected and staff was friendly. Beds were okay, not the comfiest. One of the queen beds in our room was sinking in as soon as you lay on it. And our wifi was weak and not connecting well. We couldn’t really use the TV either and we stayed for the weekend. Staff wasn’t helpful with this either but oh well. Stay overall was decent and near the area we needed to be.

Very good bed, and bathroom, both get top grades One chair that was for looks only and so uncomfortable that it was virtually unusable. You either have to sit in the desk chair or go to bed. TV streaming service did not work, when I complained I had a woman and explain to do everything I was doing and it still didn’t work. I guess I didn’t want to watch tv after all

I usually stay at Hyatt's, but was on a bit of a budget and the Holiday Inn was close to where I needed to be. The facilities were clean and well kept, the location for commuting about was great, and the parking was ample. Heck, even the breakfast was better than I expected. The best part of my stay was the service, from the folks at check in to the cleaning staff, everyone was incredibly, smiling, kind and helpful.

Room wasn’t “refreshed” but noticed that my shoes were moved to the other side of the room. Very strange. Who entered the room to move the shoes but did not refresh the room? On our last full day, housekeeping knocked at 3:45pm to come in and I just asked at this point to just empty 2 wastebaskets and I was told no. I then requested again speaking Spanish to the housekeeper who seemed surprised and quickly said yes and took the small wastebaskets I handed to her so she can take the plastic bags from it. My family was in the room and she attempted to go by me to enter and I blocked her from entering and closed the door as she did not speak and why come in if the room is occupied? Very disappointed with the service and felt not safe.

Evening staff was wonderful!! The man who called me in the morning however and threatened to give away my room was despicable. He was rude and didnt listen when i tried to explain my reservation. However, the 2 older women who worked the evening were some of the most lovely people i have ever met :)

Driving back home from North Carolina, I opted for a slightly shorter drive on my 2nd day. This hotel was sort of where I wanted to be. It was nice and quiet and the staff was very friendly. It was right next to Two Stones Pub, which was convenient for a late dinner.

This hotel was great. The staff were very attentive, the room clean with ample space and comfortable bed. Daily breakfast was included and exceeded my expectations. There was even an option for freshly brewed coffee which was available all day. If staying in Newark or Wilmington DE give this location a try. You will not be disappointed.

Hotel was very clean and convenient. The breakfast was plentiful, we recommend getting a cinnamon roll, they are delicious. The bed was a little unforgiving, especially if you are used to laying on a matress topper. The staff was very polite and we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
