This place is fabulous, from the extremely welcoming staff, to the free shuttle to and from to the seaport, to the onsite pools, bars, bartenders, food, live music, happy hour and the huge multitude of on site outdoor games... and the cheapest onsite parking I have ever had since we drive in.... The developer combined two or more pre existing properties and the result is impressive. The rooms are very clean and nice, but not lavish. Very much an island feel to the entire property. Multiple pools and bars, good food made in multiple food trucks around the property. There is a Starbucks on campus as well. Live entertainment in the afternoons by the pools. The staff was exceptionally friendly and courteous. Definitely will return.

The property at the resort is beautiful. Lots of fun games out by the pools - ping pong, bocce ball, corn hole, shuffle board, etc. Nice atmosphere and well-kept grounds.

This is our 3rd time staying at this place.. we have stayed pre reno and post reno and the aftermath is beautiful. Would definitely recommend. The primary pool however was not functioning or open during our stay, so would’ve been nice to know ahead of time.. but other than that, 10/10.

Trying to be a luxury resort but missing the mark. Main pool is closed for renovation, thats okay, its off season. 2nd pool is fine. But pool area is closed as is restaurant. I prepay breakfast, and the only option is to sit outside in the sun when ita 100 degrees at 8 am. 2nd day, reno has entire area blocked off. Im told i can walk 10 minutes to their sister hotel for breakfast. Reno screwed up the sound system, music at 6 am at full blast for 20 minutes. I paid extra for an ocean view... what they neglect to tell you is that with the ocean view you get the 4 lane main highway between your door and the view. The noise from traffic made the view worthless. Elevator was out for service half the time, so had to go around back... and even then the 2nd elevator wouldnt go to the 5th floor half the time....

Resort has good backyard vibe with lot of things to do for kids. On the otherside, room cleaning service was very poor. We go bad bug bites from this stay. Which is obvious given we stayed for 3 nights and every single day we had to call to get room cleaned, request restocking towel etc.

Only 1 elevator was operable, we were on the 5th floor a. Paid for an upgraded ocean view and they still put us in a poolside view. Had to go down to lobby multiple times and when I finally got the ocean view room there was a wet dirty towel hanging in the towel rack in bathroom from last occupants. Old trash was still in bathroom and there was no toilet paper in the room. Other than those few things, he property is beautiful, the area is beautiful and rooms were nicely decorated. Just work on the little things.

Quarto tinha um cheiro bem forte de mofo, deixei a porta aberta por muito tempo mas não melhorava, lençóis e travesseiros com pessimo cheiro! Tive q enrolar a toalha de banho no travesseiro para conseguir dormir com o mau cheiro de fronha mal lavada e com bolor! Não voltaria nesse hotel! The floor in the room was filthy, dirt and spill spots. The bath tub was also stained and tiles on the walls needed a good scrubbing. When I mentioned it to the woman at the front desk, I was told, "Oh, I'm sorry" and nothing else! Luckily we only needed to stay one night. Never again!

The place looks great, my daughter and I checked in and were getting cleaned up for dinner. The towel we were using had hair embedded in it. I called the front and arranged for replacement. The next day service came, made 1 bed, left the trash and took all the towels. This overshadowed high expectations.

Great property! We had a junior suite and it was extremely spacious. The staff was very nice and the free shuttle to Duval St was a great perk. My only complaint was that nobody, but nobody told you to make a reservation for the free shuttle. I talked to multiple people at the front desk, concierge and on the phone… not one word about making a reservation. We saw countless people deal with that same situation. Kinda frustrating getting told you can’t get on the shuttle when you’ve been waiting for up to an hour.

The rooms were well apportioned, clean and spacious. The downside was the noise. The rooms are not well insulated so the road noise and people’s conversations tended to be loud. If you didn’t wear ear plugs it was very disruptive to our sleep. People would be yelling right outside our room as late as midnight. No quiet hours.

We were told they would text us when the room was ready. That never happened so that is a negative for service. Transportation was good but limited to 9a-1030p. Shuttles only left the hotel at the top of the hour and pick up was at the bottom of the hour. So if you had an activity scheduled before 930a, you had to get an Uber, Lyft, or taxi. That definitely added to the expense. Additionally, several guests were turned away from the shuttle because they did not have a shuttle reservation. While this was explained at check-in, some signage at the pickup point would have been appreciated. Overall, this is not a bad place to stay. Just not the best.

This was one of the most unprofessional and unacceptable experiences I’ve ever had at a hotel. I was clearly next in line when a staff member ignored us, took the ID of a Spanish guest who walked in from behind, and skipped us completely. When we reached the counter, the employee told us to step aside and started helping the people behind us instead. There was absolutely no explanation, no apology, and the treatment felt discriminatory and disrespectful. This is not how any guest should be treated. Management needs to take this seriously and address the behavior of their staff immediately. I would not recommend this hotel based on the way we were treated.

Check-in went smoothly, or as smoothly as expected. Hotel was very nice and very clean. Pools were well stock with towels and very well kept. Room was very nice and as far as the staff, no complaints at all. Only bad experience was every day(3 days) my card was charged over 600 one day, over 300 the next, and about 300 the last day. I went to management the first time and was assured they were holds and not charges. Who holds over 1300 dollars of someone’s money for no reason???. On check out day I was handed a receipt with the correct amount deducted and thought it was said and done. Until the next morning when all the charges went through, and I got to spend over 2 hours on the phone being put on hold for 10 minutes at a time until someone could finally tell me what happened. Now I’m being told half went back on card, was told I have to wait for other charges to fall off and if they don’t call back again tomorrow and then was hung up on. Never again….

The staff and the manager are so nice I had a small issue with my room after the first night and the manager was so kind to move us to a new and gave us a 50.00 bar credit for the inconvenience he was very understanding about the issue and took care of it right away this property is family friendly and pet friendly so much for the kids to do they have two pools ping pong tables, pool tables, corn hole and air hockey the breakfast and lunch dinner menu is small but delicious and unique food you will have to try the grilled cheese and tomato jam sandwich the bartender was very nice and remembers every guest we had a wonderful time

I was celebrating my boyfriends birthday this weekend and the staff was absolutely amazing. They were super nice especially (Jose and Joel) along with Jessie the concierge that helped us book the most awesome parasailing trip ever! They even brought us a bottle of champagne to the room and were very attentive to any other amenities that we needed. Thank you so much for this experience, we will be back.

The front desk didn’t tell us you need a ticket for the shuttle into town when I specifically asked how the shuttle works. At 5pm, we had been lined up and waiting in the cold only to be told we needed a ticket and the shuttle was full. We missed our dinner reservation and had to go pay $20 + tip for an Uber. The only reason we booked that hotel was because it had a “free” shuttle (price included in the resort fee). The front desk didn’t even apologize when we went to ask for tickets afterwards. It really threw a wrench in our evening.

Just five minutes from the airport and the shuttle will take you into the Mallory Square area every hour. 10:30 is last shuttle back. Hopefully in the near future all the restaurants will be open and lobby bar but I didn’t have use any and didn’t know they weren’t done with renovations. Should have been told and at least discounted

Rating of this resort should be higher! Wonderful location indeed, super cool manager and staff, just beside the ocean...hotel interior, cleanliness of the room were excellent...we loved our staying and in future if we receive any good deals again, will not think twice to stay with Blue Flamingo family! Btw, for parking they will charge $15 per day...that could be an issue for someone...just wanna mention that as well.

I paid for breakfast in advance. When we went to breakfast, it was outside by the pool and there were no tables or seats available with a long waiting line. It was the type of breakfast that most hotels give you for free as a complementary breakfast. The bacon is really cheap and mostly fat. The potatoes were deep fried. And there were scrambled eggs.

I enjoyed my stay. The room was beautiful and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. At check-in I was given a free bottle of champagne for my birthday. The shuttle service was an excellent bonus. I had only one complaint. No continental breakfast included in all the fees charged by the hotel.

Good for the price! Cleanliness can improve, when we complained about the cleaning our room we were promptly moved rooms and were very satisfied. Breakfast situation is a bit off, way overpriced for the portion, prepaid breakfast for the room but only offered one complimentary plate? Literally the French toast plate was just one piece of bread with whipped cream and berries. No biggie wouldn’t mind staying again.

We enjoyed our stay. Lobby was very busy most of the time. had for computer kiosks, but usually only 2 people up front. Otherwise...you must get a burger or the chicken sandwich from the bar for lunch. Incredible and not too pricey.

The property was very nice and clean. They had hourly shuttles down to Mallory square which was nice and having Starbucks on property was a plus. Only one bar tender/server for the outside restaurant by the pool. He was great and did good but with all the guest there it took a long time to get our food and drinks. Over all I would highly recommend this property.
