This small pub with 8 rooms for accommodation is an excellent base for a few days to explore some of the many highlights in this area. The pub restaurant offered a good chouce, the pub was convivial. The daily included breakfast was excellent and the server very helpful. Plenty of parking makes for a stress free experience.

What a fantastic hotel. Peter and all of his staff were brilliant, nothing is too much trouble for them. The hotel itself is in a brilliant position where all the tourist spots are within easy reach, wether by car,bus or even train. We had 8 nights there and 5 of them we ate in the hotel restaurant, the food is that good. Plenty of parking on site, they even have electric hook ups for caravans/mobiles. But i must give praise to all of the young staff working there, their hospitality is brilliant, they are all very polite, pleasant people who take their jobs seriously but still have a laugh with everyone. Thank you all for giving us a fantastic week 10/10 👏👏

The Begelly Arms is conveniently situated for the Kilgetty, Saundersfoot, Tenby areas. It has ample parking space and they have an area for Motorhomes with electric hook-up, which is great. There is a large bar, albeit quite expensive, but then it would be in a tourist area. The rooms are clean and functional and not too small. Unfortunately, there was a knocking noise throughout the night, rather like a door swinging in the breeze every minute or so. Consequently, I got little or no sleep. We didn't dine there in the evening, but the fare looks typical for this kind of hotel. We did however have the breakfast, which wasn't good. The poached eggs were overcooked and served on dry toast. I'd have hoped for more, as the chef was cooking to order in the kitchen. The toast on the side was cold and rubbery. The marmalade was in individual containers and no more than barely orange-flavoured jelly. Disabled beware, all the rooms are upstairs. Overall, a good place for a one-night stay, which I think is probably their stock-in trade and the right price point.

Very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed and good value for money, the table top fridge was a bonus keeping our drinks cold, breakfast was very tasty and we also had a meal in the restaurant which was nice and fairly priced and good service, good location also

Room was comfortable & liked having a little sofa as well. Breakfast was lovely. Great Vegetarian sausage. The jacuzzi bath, not sure if it was working quite as it should. Surprised bar and restaurant closed on Sunday evening. Will be happy to stay here again.

Friendly and helpful staff. Great dinner menu (although the online menu needs to be updated as not all dishes available). Best barbeque ribs I've had on either side of the Atlantic! All expected in-room facilities. Bed (Room 1) a little firmer than we're used to. Good location - handy for local attractions. Probably 4.5 stars. Likely to stay again.

Lovely situation near travel links to nearby Saundersfoot and Tenby. Food is excellent and bar area most inviting. The room we stayed in could do with a refurb but was cleaned to a high standard. Would definitely stay again.

Room was comfortable enough though it had a rather shakey chest of draws. Bathroom was short of shelf space near the shower and there was some floor covering missing. Acceptable for a no more than 2-3 nights. General cleanliness was good.

Leider ist das Hotel ziemlich heruntergekommen. Die Einrichtung ist alt und in einem schlechten Zustand (Wände dreckig, an den Schränken fehlt der Lack). Auch kann von Sauberkeit nicht die Rede sein. Also ich den Stöpsel vom Waschbecken herausnahmen, wurde mir fast übel. Am sich ist das Hotel ruhig gelegen, aber abends wird unten im Restaurant kräftig die Musik laut gedreht, sodass man sogar Probleme hat den Fernseher zu verstehen. Das Personal ist jedoch freundlich und das Frühstück in Ordnung.

Did not like the room, it was dirty and very dated. They informed us prior to our arrival that the restaurant would be closed for our 1 night stay. We ate elsewhere and when we returned 8.15 the whole pub was closed and all locked up, except the accommodation entrance. If we had known this prior to our arrival we wouldnt have booked it. Also the breakfast was appalling and the restaurant floor was filthy.

Stayed for two nights in June 2025. Upon arrival there was plenty of free parking, check in was easy and i was directed to my room. The location is quiet, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. I would recommend asking for milk at check in, they supplied tea, coffee etc but there was no milk, which i discovered early the following morning when i wanted a coffee. There is a pamphlet that says milk isn't supplied to cut down on plastic waste, however you can request a jug at reception. I was very pleased with my stay, Tenby is only a short distance away by car. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotels about 5 minutes from folly farm and 15 minutes from Tenby. Room comes with everything you need - towels / hand soap / body wash / hair dryer / ironing board / kettle etc. breakfast was tasty as well with plenty of choice. Will definitely return

Stayed for two nights to visit parents! Stayed in room 1 which overlooked the car park! Very noisy if you have window open! Also room 1 is right off of the stairs and you have to open a door to get into hallway! So people noisy when coming and going! Would stay here again but not in room1

We stayed in room 8. We didn't expect it to be quiet above a pub but the loud thumping music continued all evening. My partner phoned the duty manager at 11.10pm to ask when it was likely to stop. It stopped soon after. We were offered a breakfast tray as we were unable to be at breakfast between 8.30am and 7.30am. It didn't arrive.

Very conveniently placed for visiting all the lovely towns and beaches in this area. The room was perfectly adequate with all amenities included. And above the price included a good cooked breakfast. The staff were attentive even asking if we needed extra tea or coffee.will definitely stay again

We have stayed here a few times and always had a good time the staff are very helpful and informative and very helpful. We had an evening meal as well, the food and service was very good quality. Would recommend this place to everyone .
We have stayed here a few times and always had a good time the staff are very helpful and informative and very helpful. We had an evening meal as well, the food and service was very good quality. Would recommend this place to everyone .

We stayed in room 8. We didn't expect it to be quiet above a pub but the loud thumping music continued all evening. My partner phoned the duty manager at 11.10pm to ask when it was likely to stop. It stopped soon after. We were offered a breakfast tray as we were unable to be at breakfast between 8.30am and 7.30am. It didn't arrive.

This small pub with 8 rooms for accommodation is an excellent base for a few days to explore some of the many highlights in this area. The pub restaurant offered a good chouce, the pub was convivial. The daily included breakfast was excellent and the server very helpful. Plenty of parking makes for a stress free experience.

What a fantastic hotel. Peter and all of his staff were brilliant, nothing is too much trouble for them. The hotel itself is in a brilliant position where all the tourist spots are within easy reach, wether by car,bus or even train. We had 8 nights there and 5 of them we ate in the hotel restaurant, the food is that good. Plenty of parking on site, they even have electric hook ups for caravans/mobiles. But i must give praise to all of the young staff working there, their hospitality is brilliant, they are all very polite, pleasant people who take their jobs seriously but still have a laugh with everyone. Thank you all for giving us a fantastic week 10/10 👏👏

Lovely situation near travel links to nearby Saundersfoot and Tenby. Food is excellent and bar area most inviting. The room we stayed in could do with a refurb but was cleaned to a high standard. Would definitely stay again.

Very conveniently placed for visiting all the lovely towns and beaches in this area. The room was perfectly adequate with all amenities included. And above the price included a good cooked breakfast. The staff were attentive even asking if we needed extra tea or coffee.will definitely stay again

The hotels about 5 minutes from folly farm and 15 minutes from Tenby. Room comes with everything you need - towels / hand soap / body wash / hair dryer / ironing board / kettle etc. breakfast was tasty as well with plenty of choice. Will definitely return

The Begelly Arms is conveniently situated for the Kilgetty, Saundersfoot, Tenby areas. It has ample parking space and they have an area for Motorhomes with electric hook-up, which is great. There is a large bar, albeit quite expensive, but then it would be in a tourist area. The rooms are clean and functional and not too small. Unfortunately, there was a knocking noise throughout the night, rather like a door swinging in the breeze every minute or so. Consequently, I got little or no sleep. We didn't dine there in the evening, but the fare looks typical for this kind of hotel. We did however have the breakfast, which wasn't good. The poached eggs were overcooked and served on dry toast. I'd have hoped for more, as the chef was cooking to order in the kitchen. The toast on the side was cold and rubbery. The marmalade was in individual containers and no more than barely orange-flavoured jelly. Disabled beware, all the rooms are upstairs. Overall, a good place for a one-night stay, which I think is probably their stock-in trade and the right price point.

All expected in-room facilities. Bed (Room 1) a little firmer than we're used to. Good location - handy for local attractions. Probably 4.5 stars. Likely to stay again.

Did not like the room, it was dirty and very dated. They informed us prior to our arrival that the restaurant would be closed for our 1 night stay. We ate elsewhere and when we returned 8.15 the whole pub was closed and all locked up, except the accommodation entrance. If we had known this prior to our arrival we wouldnt have booked it. Also the breakfast was appalling and the restaurant floor was filthy.
