Room one , poor . Just a bed one chair and a fan . I could only find one socket in the room . It was a hot day so if the TV was on you could not use the fan . The wardrobe was in the bathroom . I was there on business and had nowhere to work . Unfortunately I will not be staying here again . Very disappointed .

The room was fine but basic. Cleanliness was adequate but the toilet was full of toilet paper on arrival (hadn’t been flushed). The shower fixture was a bit wobbly, and the tap water was for handwashing only with no clues given about where we should get safe water to drink for the provided kettle. The room was overly warm but we found that preferable to being too cold. Our biggest complaint was that despite the website and the hotels.com description suggesting there were breakfast facilities, there were none. To get breakfast on a Sunday we had to go to the other end of the village and get breakfast at a rival hotel. We’d never have booked had we known. We didn’t pay too much for the room and our stay was fine for the price - but we stayed once before in 2022 and the service was a whole lot better, and they served breakfast then.

Lovely hotel and bar area with great staff. Downside is that my room i dixated pri ate bathroom which I took to be ensuite but was separate from my room. The restaurant was closed on a Tuesday and I specifically book at hotels with a restaurant. I could not find anywhere online where this was indicated. I ordered myself a curry takeaway but had to eat in in my room as not allowed to bring food onto property to eat. So a bit awkward. Also first time I have stayed in a hotel where no wifi in the rooms, only in public areas. Otherwise a lovely place.

Bar was OK However there was no heating in my room Bed was great Shower was Terrible!! I’m a plumber. I couldn’t get the shower to work, only a dribble The only requirements I have when working away are a reasonable bed and a reasonable shower, is that to much to ask for?
