Again had a great 3 nights stay. Always quiet so a good nights sleep. Facilities are clean and basic. Good value for money. £10 a night extra for the dog isn’t bad at all.

Given an accessible room right next to very noisy corridor and door that kept slamming shut. at time of stay nothing was available at the bar. Hardly anything available at restaurant also, everything out of stock, then when two guys tried to bring food in from outside they were told they couldn’t!? I ended up eating at McDonalds around the corner as it was a better option. Breakfast was luke warm and poor quality. Avoid at all costs

Booked two rooms, for our family of five and our cocker spaniel. The rooms were clean, tidy and a decent size. The hotel has a bar area, with a pool table, comfy chairs and couches as well as a children's corner. Very nice for a budget hotel! The staff were above reproach. Friendly, helpful and always willing to help in anyway possible. Our pup fell in love since treats were offered! Even though we only stayed one night, it was a very nice experience. Five stars all around and would def. be happy to stay again.

Staff quick to act on issues, though the complexity of registering a vehicle for the car park for a day more than nights booked not explained - apparently the parking management company resets everything at midnight - so expecting to have to get them to cancel a fine. Lovely ladies on reception when arrived, plenty room to park. Rooms and hotel itself absolutely disgusting though. Needs cleaned heavily from top to bottom, carpets are a disgrace in the rooms. As are the walls etc. did for the night but wouldn't recommend any longer

After reading reviews I was worried about what we were walking into. But we were pleasantly surprised, yes the carpets and rooms are tired and worn, but they were clean and we slept really well. The staff are really friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome and safe. The area was great lots right on the doorstep - Huge Morrisons, Mc Donald’s a pub and eatery, petrol station, take aways. So felt like a safe area at night too. Was regretting booking before we arrived, now for value for money, staff and cleanliness I’d stay here every time.

The room was not clean dirty mattress something broken on the window carpets dirty. Would not recommend. You can tell the hotel had been used for refugees. It should have been decorated and re-carpeted fully before letting out to the public again. If I would have known this before booking I would not have booked it. Nothing like the pictures. Excellent value for money. The hotel has recently been refurbished and feels fresh and modern throughout. Our room was spotless, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the staff were warm and welcoming. We stayed here while attending a concert at the Utilita Arena Sheffield, and the location was perfect. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay again.

The staff at the IBIS were brilliant really friendly made you feel very welcome and the lobby area very clean smart decent smell about it. It’s after getting in the lift to the second floor as soon as you got out of the lift the smell of stale smoke. was horrendous I went to my room. I had a problem with the key but I always do so I have to fiddling about a bit. I finally got in the room was made up of two single beds with two clean bins there was cups that had coffee stains or tea stains round them very dirty. The room was filthy about a new. I only had one night to stay so there’s no good making a fuss cause I couldn’t get home. I needed to stay ready for my meeting on Sunday. I had to leave the room early the next morning I planned on leaving at 9:30 am but I had to leave wrong before because of the stench it just made me feel so sick and before my meeting started I ended up sitting in my car for an hour. The thing was the smell of stale smoke was in every bit of the room. I stayed in 201 I’d say the shower room was the worst for the smell of stale smoke it reminded me actually of being back in the 1980s when people could smoke in pubs and they always left that horrible smell

We only stayed for one night on a trip to Sheffield. It was a pretty convenient stop to rest. A bit outdated which is not a big deal. Cleaning definitely needs improving. Otherwise, comfortable beds and we would consider staying again.

Stayed here numerous times before. Bedrooms in need of modernisation. Carpet in my room was dirty and stained. Bath towels are small and so worn they had holes in them! Cleaner must’ve been in a hurry stains on my desk were untouched. Otherwise all ok.

Very handy location with a Morrisons supermarket and fuel station opposite. Noise from the motorway is not too bad with the windows open and non existent with them closed. Fan available at reception. Carol and Paula were both very welcoming and helpful. Would stay again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Beds are like a camp bed with a mattress topper and we’re not very comfortable. Interconnecting rooms when not being used that way have a significant acoustic issue. Our neighbours were having a blazing row at 1am which was disruptive. Breakfast is a bit of a shambles and best avoided. The room was good value but you definitely get what you pay for. However, the issues should be easy to solve without significant cost so rates should remain competitive.

The property was great value and on the X1 bus route to Sheffield. However, the stay was very noisy with doors banging all night and people making noise and arguing loudly in surrounding rooms which again, seemed to be all through the night. It is not so much the hotel as the clientele who seemed very inconsiderate.

Rude and very Raci**t staff!. Very Rude and condesending especially the night staff on duty 9th and 10th night. . The security staff was kind to cone up to the room and apologise on her behalf. But she was extremely rude , raci*t and condescending!

Well located for motorway. Good carpark on site. Staff on reception very polite and helpful. Room clean and tidy if average in today's market. Bed very comfortable plus good sized en-suite.

Very handy location with a Morrisons supermarket and fuel station opposite. Noise from the motorway is not too bad with the windows open and non existent with them closed. Fan available at reception. Carol and Paula were both very welcoming and helpful. Would stay again.

Only stayed one night so not long enough for a proper opinion. Everything ok with hotel itself but surroundings ( supermarket, McDonald's, back of a pub ,factory) a bit "industrial ". Only issue was with key card which refused to work because apparently it had been wiped by the security scanner in the supermarket. Good access to motorway.

After reading reviews I was worried about what we were walking into. But we were pleasantly surprised, yes the carpets and rooms are tired and worn, but they were clean and we slept really well. The staff are really friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome and safe. The area was great lots right on the doorstep - Huge Morrisons, Mc Donald’s a pub and eatery, petrol station, take aways. So felt like a safe area at night too. Was regretting booking before we arrived, now for value for money, staff and cleanliness I’d stay here every time.

Excellent value for money. The hotel has recently been refurbished and feels fresh and modern throughout. Our room was spotless, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the staff were warm and welcoming. We stayed here while attending a concert at the Utilita Arena Sheffield, and the location was perfect. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay again.

Overnight stay for nearby event. Basic hotel, with friendly staff. The room/bedding clean (apart from the kettle) and although the walls in the rooms have been repainted fairly recently, the overall hotel could do with a refurb as looking tired and not in good repair. Convenient location for motorway access.

After reading reviews I took a chance on this hotel . The room was a good size , clean , bathroom and shower all good . Clean bed and free parking . Morrison , McDonald’s and a restaurant next to it . Off the motorway a bit out of the way . Carpets were a bit thin and could do with been replaced . Reading some bad reviews I found my stay adequate . Basic for working purposes but overall would quite happy return again . Don’t be put off by exaggerated bad reviews . Good for the money . If you want a Hilton or Marriot pay double the price of this hotel . You get what you pay for .

Staff were very cheerful and welcoming which was very nice after a long drive. Check in and check out were efficient and pricing very reasonable. We ate in the pub next door which was both convenient and enjoyable. Easy access from the motorway. Great stop off point for one night.

Given an accessible room right next to very noisy corridor and door that kept slamming shut. at time of stay nothing was available at the bar. Hardly anything available at restaurant also, everything out of stock, then when two guys tried to bring food in from outside they were told they couldn’t!? I ended up eating at McDonalds around the corner as it was a better option. Breakfast was luke warm and poor quality. Avoid at all costs

Basic but comfy. The cooked side of breakfast left a lot to be desired especially at the cost. Only scrambled eggs I was told?! Bacon chewy as over heated. Not a lot of choice for a full English compared to other budget hotels. Would stay again but give breakfast a miss.

Reception staff were great. We had a problem with the bathroom, with no maintenance staff on Sundays we were quickly given an alternative room. Excellent breakfast.

Hotel was surprisingly clean. The bed would take some getting used too. Convenient parking. I wouldn’t bother with the breakfast next time ( had already paid for it ) Certainly not worth the £12 they charge. Very little choices.

The only downside was breakfast was very disappointing as all the pastries had gone and the fresh fruit was looking worse for wear. The bacon was excellent but overall expensive.

So glad we found this one Rooms are clean and well maintained with the benefit of air conditioning. Plenty to eat and the hotel staff were all friendly and polite . I have put this one on my favourites.
