The best hotel I been before for the past 10 years. Room cleaned a few times per day. Food is perfect 😋. Friendly staff. Big room. Close to the sea beach. Big swimming pool with warm water.

Bei diesem Hotel muss man volle Punkte geben. Alles andere wäre nicht fair. Wir haben uns super erholt. Alles war klasse. Von A bis Z. Besonders hervorragend waren: Freundlichkeit, Sauberkeit, Sicherheit, Essen, beheizte Pools, Gartenanlage, Service, Lage. Makadi Bay ist einfach „wow“

I faced a problem during check in asking for birth certificates for my young children which are 9 and 7 years old My kids are so young so what is the need for age proof they stopped my check in asking me to login to egypt online portal to get the birth certificate which wasted my day or asking me to call hotels.com room service as i asked for additional water and blanket many times and never came !!!! The hotel’s facilities are good and one comment on animation team who makes games and shows not appropriate for children without any notice Overall nice stay enjoyed the AQUA and pool activities

Personale molto cordiale. Camera spaziosa. Animazione non invasiva. Struttura ben mantenuta. Ristorazione con discreta varietà. È strana la richiesta di pagamento per l'utilizzo della palestra, che comunque non avevamo necessità di utilizzare; forse perché è piccola rispetto alle dimensioni del resort.

Wir waren von dem Hotel sehr positiv überrascht. Das Essen war für Ägypten sehr schmackhaft und die Auswahl hat gestimmt. Der Strand ist in der Region Hurghada, mit der beste, den man finden kann. Das Zimmer war gut und die Poolanlagen auch sehr sauber. Der Wasserpark ist auch zu empfehlen, allerdings ist aufgrund der Entfernung immer ein Bustransfer nötig. In Summe war das für uns eines der besten Hotels in Ägypten, wir kommen wieder.

Il resort è molto bello. La struttura è nuova e ben mantenuta. Al ristorante si mangia molto bene e c'è una varietà tale da soddisfare chiunque (oltre a tante specialità locali e un buffet di dolci mediorientali c'è la griglia con carne e pesce, pizza, pasta e c'è addirittura una signora che fa il pane arabo al momento). L'animazione c'è, non è invadente ma molto preparata. Per i bambini c'è davvero di tutto. Il personale è gentilissimo, preparato e simpatico. Ogni sera c'è uno spettacolo diverso e di qualità (acrobati, giochi di fuoco, ballerini,...). Ha superato ogni aspettativa. Nota: è un resort tedesco, le lingue parlate sono tedesco, inglese e egiziano.

Our stay at Jaz Makadi Oasis Resort in Hurghada was simply wonderful, offering a perfect blend of comfort, entertainment, and natural beauty. The hotel staff was exceptionally friendly. The cleaning team did an amazing job, with special mention to Mohammed. The 24-hour reception front desk was super helpful, especially when we arrived late at night, and even thoughtfully provided us with boxed dinners which was greatly appreciated after long trip. Their prompt communication helped greatly to accomodate the airport transfer to our delayed flight. The all-inclusive food options were delicious. Additionally, we were provided with lunch boxes for our trips to Cairo and Luxor, which was very convenient. The hotel grounds are meticulously maintained, there are plenty of flowers and plants, making it a pleasure to stroll through. The two pool areas were very clean and not busy. The beach is a very short walk through a treed alley, and boasted beautiful sand and calm waters due to location in the bay. The water was very clear and of beautiful turquoise color. Right from the beach we were able to go snorkeling and see beatiful corals and an abundance of fish. In terms of entertainment, the hotel offered a variety of options to keep guests entertained throughout the day. From sports activities to engaging performers in the evening, there was always something exciting happening.

I travel a LOT and without doubt this is one of the most comfortable places I’ve stayed in many years, so much so I’ve extended my stay twice while being here. EVERY me ever if the team goes above and beyond to make you feel truly welcome. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed and spotless clean. The gardens are manicured to perfection. The buffet is extensive and of great quality. My only complaint is that the Wi-Fi in the rooms can be a nightmare and as a digital nomad trying to work while here that’s a big challenge. Overall I have absolutely no problem highly recommending this marvellous experience

Were there for 10 days with another family. Our room was spacious, with partial pool view. Housekeeping (Ahmed) was excellent, including an awesome birthday surprise (co-arranged by hubby). Food was very good, lots of variety every day. The smaller "family" restaurant didnt have any waiting time either. Animation (Wagdy in particular) did a good job all day round, despite the scorching heat. Restaurant staff was attentive, as was everyone else also. Really cant fault anything.

Il a y 15 ans déjà dans ce complexe et tout était loin d'etre parfait(la moitie des touristes malades a cause de l'eau et des glaçons, c'etait très complique de ne pas tomber malade et le personnel n'etait pas très compétent) Lors de ce séjour j'ai été très agréablement surpris par le personnel, toujours disponible et avec le sourire, tout les bâtiments qui ont été remis à neuf, la propreté de tout le complexe avec la plage et l'hygiene (masque et gants pour se servir au buffet, très bien par ces temps très compliques de Virus). Un petit bémol pour le Wifi qui n'arrête pas de se déconnecter et qui ne marche pas très bien, mais bon on ne devrait pas être tellement dépendant de cela en vacances! Superbe vacances, à conseiller fortement pour tous ceux qui en avaient (comme moi) un mauvais souvenir.

Das Hotel hat uns bis auf Kleinigkeiten gut gefallen. Fließen am Hotel Pool waren zu rutschig. Klimaanlage im Zimmer sehr laut. Leider haben wir an den letzten Tagen Mittel /starke Magenbeschwerden bekommen. Die Hygiene könnte daher noch weiter verbessert werden.

This is a beautiful place It is spotlessly clean and in a great location It is also clearly a flagship resort for a large German travel agent, as evidenced by all of the certificates in their reception area; however this means that you will be greeted in German first for the entirety of your stay ... It became easier and less awkward to just reply in German. I would have rather they spoke Arabic at first Our stay was amazing - The room (superior, pool view) was on the ground floor, and as such had steps straight from the balcony area to the pool, which saved having to fight for sunbeds ... although there seemed to be plenty The short walk across the road and down the leafy lane to the beach was no bother at all, and the snorkelling at the coral just off the beach was awesome - we saw loads of colourful fish, and even a ray The place is idyllic The only gripe would be in the buffet restaurant - The staff are over attentive, and three times we had our table cleared when we were at the buffet (despite leaving drinks/bags/jackets etc) The food is a little unimaginative - again, the breakfast has a very German feel (which isn't much of an issue, I like cold cuts and bread) You can get some eggs cooked if you queue up, but this is Egypt, so don't expect any pork-related items And the drinks are laughably bad. From watery juice and beer, through to bizarre-tasting cocktails. G&T's were good apparently, but a whisky was undrinkable. Branded ones are available but v. dear

The cleaning team did an amazing job, with special mention to Mohammed. The 24-hour reception front desk was super helpful, especially when we arrived late at night, and even thoughtfully provided us with boxed dinners which was greatly appreciated after long trip. Their prompt communication helped greatly to accomodate the airport transfer to our delayed flight. The all-inclusive food options were delicious. A very nice, clean hotel-resort. Close to the beach and a bonus free waterpark with 50 slides. The internet covers the entire hotel plus the beach too, a little slow but OK. The food and drinks are OK. The staff speak mostly German, less English. Thanks for the nice vacation Jaz group. I'll see you again.

We've originally booked a Superior room with garden view, which was a big disappointment. Very small terrace facing across the street to the neighboring Iberotel with a constant noise from external A/C units, and also from a washing machine (up to the 3rd floor through the airshaft, around 11pm). We've had to pay €20 extra per night for upgrade to the Family room with a larger terrace, facing the pool, which finally met our expectations. We were very happy with the all inclusive buffet meals in the main buffet restaurant, providing a wide variety of choices. The flavours were well targeting European guests; only the 2 Egyptian-style dinners during the week brought unusual tastes for us. Excellent desserts - both baklava and EU style, very tasty. The pools and the inner garden were meticulously managed by hotel gardeners (unusual, compared to other similar resorts). Drinks: AI inclusive were just the usual soft drinks and not much tasty fruit juices (freshly pressed juice cost €4 per glass!). Freely provided local beer was weak but OK, but the local wines (just white, rose and red on tap) were hardly acceptable for Europeans. Several cocktails were also on the AI list, however too sweet and tasted differently due to the basic local liquors. But that's probably OK for the price advantage. Pros: we've enjoyed snorkeling around coral reefs close to hotel Jaz Makadi beach (sunbeds and umbrellas free for hotel guests) and also managed a valuable one-day trip to Luxor.

I travel a LOT and without doubt this is one of the most comfortable places I’ve stayed in many years, so much so I’ve extended my stay twice while being here. EVERY me ever if the team goes above and beyond to make you feel truly welcome. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed and spotless clean. The gardens are manicured to perfection. The buffet is extensive and of great quality. My only complaint is that the Wi-Fi in the rooms can be a nightmare and as a digital nomad trying to work while here that’s a big challenge. Overall I have absolutely no problem highly recommending this marvellous experience

Were there for 10 days with another family. Our room was spacious, with partial pool view. Housekeeping (Ahmed) was excellent, including an awesome birthday surprise (co-arranged by hubby). Food was very good, lots of variety every day. The smaller "family" restaurant didnt have any waiting time either. Animation (Wagdy in particular) did a good job all day round, despite the scorching heat. Restaurant staff was attentive, as was everyone else also. Really cant fault anything.

This is a beautiful place It is spotlessly clean and in a great location It is also clearly a flagship resort for a large German travel agent, as evidenced by all of the certificates in their reception area; however this means that you will be greeted in German first for the entirety of your stay ... It became easier and less awkward to just reply in German. I would have rather they spoke Arabic at first Our stay was amazing - The room (superior, pool view) was on the ground floor, and as such had steps straight from the balcony area to the pool, which saved having to fight for sunbeds ... although there seemed to be plenty The short walk across the road and down the leafy lane to the beach was no bother at all, and the snorkelling at the coral just off the beach was awesome - we saw loads of colourful fish, and even a ray The place is idyllic The only gripe would be in the buffet restaurant - The staff are over attentive, and three times we had our table cleared when we were at the buffet (despite leaving drinks/bags/jackets etc) The food is a little unimaginative - again, the breakfast has a very German feel (which isn't much of an issue, I like cold cuts and bread) You can get some eggs cooked if you queue up, but this is Egypt, so don't expect any pork-related items And the drinks are laughably bad. From watery juice and beer, through to bizarre-tasting cocktails. G&T's were good apparently, but a whisky was undrinkable. Branded ones are available but v. dear

Personale molto cordiale. Camera spaziosa. Animazione non invasiva. Struttura ben mantenuta. Ristorazione con discreta varietà. È strana la richiesta di pagamento per l'utilizzo della palestra, che comunque non avevamo necessità di utilizzare; forse perché è piccola rispetto alle dimensioni del resort.

En bra anläggning, allt fungerar utan att vara absolut i topp. Det mesta känns som ett 4-stjärnigt hotell . Vid polen o stranden kommer personal och frågar efter om ngt önskas. Dock på vissa ställen i deras solstolar kom ingen personal. Ligger inte direkt på stranden . Det är ca 5 min promenad förbi ett annat hotell som ligger närmare stranden. Windsurfingutrustningen som var till uthyrning var mycket sliten och en klar besvikelse. Riktigt fin snorkling på utsidan av de avspärrade reven ca 50 m utanför stranden.Det allra mesta av maten var god o bra. Finns 6 restauranger utöver bufférestaurangen. I dessa ingår en fri middag, kostar annars extra. Wi-Fi i rummet fungerade bara sporadiskt., var hyfsat bra vid poolen , ibland på stranden. Trevliga program på kvällarna med dans, eldshow mm Absolut bra anläggning med vissa brister.

Food was very good, lots of variety every day. The smaller "family" restaurant didnt have any waiting time either. Animation (Wagdy in particular) did a good job all day round, despite the scorching heat. Restaurant staff was attentive, as was everyone else also. Really cant fault anything.

Great stay as this was last min change to itinerary Resturant manager was great ( Mohammad hagzeb ) got a personal greeting every time you see him . Only thing I would suggest to improve is the reception as they are bit slow , requires a bit of training but rest is excellent

Our stay at Jaz Makadi Oasis Resort in Hurghada was simply wonderful, offering a perfect blend of comfort, entertainment, and natural beauty. The hotel staff was exceptionally friendly. The cleaning team did an amazing job, with special mention to Mohammed. The 24-hour reception front desk was super helpful, especially when we arrived late at night, and even thoughtfully provided us with boxed dinners which was greatly appreciated after long trip. Their prompt communication helped greatly to accomodate the airport transfer to our delayed flight. The all-inclusive food options were delicious. Additionally, we were provided with lunch boxes for our trips to Cairo and Luxor, which was very convenient. The hotel grounds are meticulously maintained, there are plenty of flowers and plants, making it a pleasure to stroll through. The two pool areas were very clean and not busy. The beach is a very short walk through a treed alley, and boasted beautiful sand and calm waters due to location in the bay. The water was very clear and of beautiful turquoise color. Right from the beach we were able to go snorkeling and see beatiful corals and an abundance of fish. In terms of entertainment, the hotel offered a variety of options to keep guests entertained throughout the day. From sports activities to engaging performers in the evening, there was always something exciting happening.

6월초 2박 일정으로 마카디 오아시스 리조트에 방문 했습니다. 공항에서 40분 가량 떨어져있고, 센조몰과 마트까지 가는데에는 20분 정도가 걸려요. 마카디 베이 비치에서 물고기를 많이 볼 수 있다는 점, 그리고 규모가 큰 워터파크를 갈 수 있다는 장점 때문에 선택했는데 결론적으로는 좋지 않은 선택이었습니다. 우선 리셉션 직원들이 친절하지 않고, 호텔의 기본적인 사항들도 제대로 전달 해주지 않았습니다. 호텔 큐알 코드를 찍었을 때 나오는 정보에 의존하기에는 내용이 충분하지 않다고 느꼈고요. 지금까지 여러 리조트들을 방문 했지만 이렇게 활기가 없는 직원들은 처음 봅니다. 방에 입실 하자마자 와이파이 신호가 약하다며 드릴로 벽을 뚫고 공유기를 설치하느라 분주했고, 이틀동안 현관 키를 두번이나 바꿔야 할 정도로 키 인식조차 제대로 되지 않았습니다. 필요한 사항이 있을 때마다 리셉션에 방문해야했으며 만족스런 대답을 얻지 못하는 경우가 많았습니다. 리조트존이 워낙 넓어 다른 리조트들과 식당을 공유하거나 다른 리조트의 쇼를 관람하는 등 리조트 존을 넓게 이용할 수 있다는것은 장점이 되기도, 단점이 되기도 합니다. 이정표만으로는 이동이 어려워 구글맵을 보며 방향을 찾아야 합니다. 마카디 해변은 예뻤지만 우리는 기대했던 물고기들을 볼 수는 없었고, 워터파크의 규모가 작지는 않았지만 아이가 없다면 굳이 그곳에 갈 필요는 없습니다. 성인들에게는 시시할 수 있습니다. 리조트 내에는 이용할 수 있는 식당의 수가 적고, (뷔페만 무료, 2박 이상의 경우 레스토랑 1회 무료) 스낵바도 4시까지만 운영하기 때문에 늦은 저녁이나 밤 시간에는 음료만 마실 수 있습니다. 유료옵션이 늘 있으니 잘 체크해보아야 합니다. 저는 다시 후르가다에 방문한다면 공항 근처쪽에 있는 리조트를 선택할 것 같습니다. 우선 거리가 멀어서 스쿠버나 돌고래 투어 등 많은 투어 업체들이 거리에 대한 추가 차지를 요구 하며, 에어컨이 나오지 않는 차를 타고 20분 이상 이동 하는것이 생각보다 너무 힘듭니다. 마지막으로 직원들이 항상 친절해야 하는것은 아니지만 리셉션에서 주는 인상이 그 호텔의 이미지를 결정할 수 있다는 사실을 명심했으면 좋겠습니다.

This is a beautiful place It is spotlessly clean and in a great location It is also clearly a flagship resort for a large German travel agent, as evidenced by all of the certificates in their reception area; however this means that you will be greeted in German first for the entirety of your stay ... It became easier and less awkward to just reply in German. I would have rather they spoke Arabic at first Our stay was amazing - The room (superior, pool view) was on the ground floor, and as such had steps straight from the balcony area to the pool, which saved having to fight for sunbeds ... although there seemed to be plenty The short walk across the road and down the leafy lane to the beach was no bother at all, and the snorkelling at the coral just off the beach was awesome - we saw loads of colourful fish, and even a ray The place is idyllic The only gripe would be in the buffet restaurant - The staff are over attentive, and three times we had our table cleared when we were at the buffet (despite leaving drinks/bags/jackets etc) The food is a little unimaginative - again, the breakfast has a very German feel (which isn't much of an issue, I like cold cuts and bread) You can get some eggs cooked if you queue up, but this is Egypt, so don't expect any pork-related items And the drinks are laughably bad. From watery juice and beer, through to bizarre-tasting cocktails. G&T's were good apparently, but a whisky was undrinkable. Branded ones are available but v. dear

Bei diesem Hotel muss man volle Punkte geben. Alles andere wäre nicht fair. Wir haben uns super erholt. Alles war klasse. Von A bis Z. Besonders hervorragend waren: Freundlichkeit, Sauberkeit, Sicherheit, Essen, beheizte Pools, Gartenanlage, Service, Lage. Makadi Bay ist einfach „wow“

Wir waren von dem Hotel sehr positiv überrascht. Das Essen war für Ägypten sehr schmackhaft und die Auswahl hat gestimmt. Der Strand ist in der Region Hurghada, mit der beste, den man finden kann. Das Zimmer war gut und die Poolanlagen auch sehr sauber. Der Wasserpark ist auch zu empfehlen, allerdings ist aufgrund der Entfernung immer ein Bustransfer nötig. In Summe war das für uns eines der besten Hotels in Ägypten, wir kommen wieder.

En bra anläggning, allt fungerar utan att vara absolut i topp. Det mesta känns som ett 4-stjärnigt hotell . Vid polen o stranden kommer personal och frågar efter om ngt önskas. Dock på vissa ställen i deras solstolar kom ingen personal. Ligger inte direkt på stranden . Det är ca 5 min promenad förbi ett annat hotell som ligger närmare stranden. Windsurfingutrustningen som var till uthyrning var mycket sliten och en klar besvikelse. Riktigt fin snorkling på utsidan av de avspärrade reven ca 50 m utanför stranden.Det allra mesta av maten var god o bra. Finns 6 restauranger utöver bufférestaurangen. I dessa ingår en fri middag, kostar annars extra. Wi-Fi i rummet fungerade bara sporadiskt., var hyfsat bra vid poolen , ibland på stranden. Trevliga program på kvällarna med dans, eldshow mm Absolut bra anläggning med vissa brister.

What a great experience. Spent 3 weeks with my wife, those 3 weeks were 2 in the beginning, but we were enjoying it so much that we extended our stay by 1 additional week Let’s start: 1. Service: 10/10. From the reception to the restaurant to the beach. This what service must really be everywhere. A special thank to you Hassan (housekeeping), Ali (main restaurant), Hamada (gym & beach), Mohamed Ehab (service manager) and all of the people we interacted during our 21 nights 2. Food, wide variety, top quality, top hygiene. 3. Safety, nothing to say, felt safe the whole stay 4. Absolut Nix zu meckern. Tolles Hotel, mit aufmerksamen tollen Personal (sogar in Deutscher Sprache) Großer Pool der akrobatisch gereinigt wird, wie auch die gesamte Anlage. Es war ausgebucht und trotzdem bekam man am Pool und Restaurant überall Platz. Tolles abwechslungsreiches Essen.

We've originally booked a Superior room with garden view, which was a big disappointment. Very small terrace facing across the street to the neighboring Iberotel with a constant noise from external A/C units, and also from a washing machine (up to the 3rd floor through the airshaft, around 11pm). We've had to pay €20 extra per night for upgrade to the Family room with a larger terrace, facing the pool, which finally met our expectations. We were very happy with the all inclusive buffet meals in the main buffet restaurant, providing a wide variety of choices. The flavours were well targeting European guests; only the 2 Egyptian-style dinners during the week brought unusual tastes for us. Excellent desserts - both baklava and EU style, very tasty. The pools and the inner garden were meticulously managed by hotel gardeners (unusual, compared to other similar resorts). Drinks: AI inclusive were just the usual soft drinks and not much tasty fruit juices (freshly pressed juice cost €4 per glass!). Freely provided local beer was weak but OK, but the local wines (just white, rose and red on tap) were hardly acceptable for Europeans. Several cocktails were also on the AI list, however too sweet and tasted differently due to the basic local liquors. But that's probably OK for the price advantage. Pros: we've enjoyed snorkeling around coral reefs close to hotel Jaz Makadi beach (sunbeds and umbrellas free for hotel guests) and also managed a valuable one-day trip to Luxor.

The flavours were well targeting European guests; only the 2 Egyptian-style dinners during the week brought unusual tastes for us. Excellent desserts - both baklava and EU style, very tasty. The pools and the inner garden were meticulously managed by hotel gardeners (unusual, compared to other similar resorts). Drinks: AI inclusive were just the usual soft drinks and not much tasty fruit juices (freshly pressed juice cost €4 per glass!). Freely provided local beer was weak but OK, but the local wines (just white, rose and red on tap) were hardly acceptable for Europeans. Several cocktails were also on the AI list, however too sweet and tasted differently due to the basic local liquors. But that's probably OK for the price advantage. Pros: we've enjoyed snorkeling around coral reefs close to hotel Jaz Makadi beach (sunbeds and umbrellas free for hotel guests) and also managed a valuable one-day trip to Luxor.

Were there for 10 days with another family. Our room was spacious, with partial pool view. Housekeeping (Ahmed) was excellent, including an awesome birthday surprise (co-arranged by hubby). Food was very good, lots of variety every day. The smaller "family" restaurant didnt have any waiting time either. Animation (Wagdy in particular) did a good job all day round, despite the scorching heat. Restaurant staff was attentive, as was everyone else also. Really cant fault anything.

This is a beautiful place It is spotlessly clean and in a great location It is also clearly a flagship resort for a large German travel agent, as evidenced by all of the certificates in their reception area; however this means that you will be greeted in German first for the entirety of your stay ... It became easier and less awkward to just reply in German. I would have rather they spoke Arabic at first Our stay was amazing - The room (superior, pool view) was on the ground floor, and as such had steps straight from the balcony area to the pool, which saved having to fight for sunbeds ... although there seemed to be plenty The short walk across the road and down the leafy lane to the beach was no bother at all, and the snorkelling at the coral just off the beach was awesome - we saw loads of colourful fish, and even a ray The place is idyllic The only gripe would be in the buffet restaurant - The staff are over attentive, and three times we had our table cleared when we were at the buffet (despite leaving drinks/bags/jackets etc) The food is a little unimaginative - again, the breakfast has a very German feel (which isn't much of an issue, I like cold cuts and bread) You can get some eggs cooked if you queue up, but this is Egypt, so don't expect any pork-related items And the drinks are laughably bad. From watery juice and beer, through to bizarre-tasting cocktails. G&T's were good apparently, but a whisky was undrinkable. Branded ones are available but v. dear

Wir waren von dem Hotel sehr positiv überrascht. Das Essen war für Ägypten sehr schmackhaft und die Auswahl hat gestimmt. Der Strand ist in der Region Hurghada, mit der beste, den man finden kann. Das Zimmer war gut und die Poolanlagen auch sehr sauber. Der Wasserpark ist auch zu empfehlen, allerdings ist aufgrund der Entfernung immer ein Bustransfer nötig. In Summe war das für uns eines der besten Hotels in Ägypten, wir kommen wieder.

I recently stayed at this hotel for the second time, after spending three weeks here in 2023 and returning again just a few days ago for one week. Overall, I can confidently say that the quality of the hotel remains consistently high. I faced a problem during check in asking for birth certificates for my young children which are 9 and 7 years old My kids are so young so what is the need for age proof they stopped my check in asking me to login to egypt online portal to get the birth certificate which wasted my day or asking me to call hotels.com room service as i asked for additional water and blanket many times and never came !!!!
