Great hotel, ocean is beautiful but rough so if you are not a good swimmer or a child you cannot go in, pools are big clean but not enough pool chairs you have to go down early as soon as pool opens or at least by 8:30am to claim pool lounger chairs or else you will have no where to sit I’m not sure why they are all taken, and why there is not enough chairs for all guests, but this was an inconvenience, also there is no music by pools only when the entertainment staff is around and even then they are not constantly playing music, which is a bummer because music would be nice by the pool, especially on vacation. They should change that. food was good. Restaurants were good. Only issue I have ran into was that the breakfast buffet is very busy. There is a long line waiting to get into breakfast buffet so be aware of that. room service was awesome. Food from room service was awesome were very comfortable. Ocean view rooms very nice entertainment was OK. staff was good attentive. Overall resort was very beautiful love the lobby smells amazing throughout the lobby. The spa we did was nice. transportation is very easy, walkable location or can take bus for 1 US dollar anywhere. We did do one excursion to Isla Mujeres. It was the best part honestly was the boat ride. The island itself was OK very crowded sketchy kind of dirty the ocean though which was called north beach was amazing but do not expect to get anything for free. But overall great resort and great stay.

We stayed for 6 nights. The resort is about to close down for a year to undergo extensive renovations which resulted in low occupancy. It was not very busy which was great but as a result the number of staff was also less and the service was inconsistent and quite poor in general. We upgraded to a Family Concierge suite when we arrived because the normal rooms had old dilapidated tubs for bathing and the “renovated” rooms had walk in showers. That was the only difference between the fully, newly renovated rooms and the old ones. However, upon upgrading our service did not really improve all that much. Due to the low capacity, no reservations were able to be made for the restaurants and so the wait times were about 30-40 minutes at high time. The shows were very low quality and the entertainment was nothing like what you would expect at a five star resort. We have stayed at Royaltons in the past and this was subpar in comparison. The only upside was their beach. However even that, on some days had seaweed but definitely not as much as other hotels in Riviera Maya strip. The beach was the only benefit of being at this resort, however even being able to sit on a Bali bed on the beach is a whole ordeal- we had a Bali bed included for one day with our upgrade to family concierge and even then, we can’t get ocean-facing ones or beachside ones. There is a premium cost for these- sadly they were never used during our stay which is a shame because that would have been redeeming.

The property is amazing in terms of view, access, amenities, activities, food and much more. We really enjoyed our stay there. Althought the package was all inclusive but there were several things which incur additional cost for example beach beds, a few drinks (even coconut water) which I didn't like. The service was good but just a but slow.

Although the selection of food at the buffet was exceptional, a good percentage of the food that was supposed to be temperature hot, was not. Just keeping the foods under hot lighting was insufficient. Although the pool was great, the depth of the main pool was too deep. I am 5’ 8’ and I had to stand on the tip of my toes most of the time in order for my chin not to be in the water (which is not comfortable for long periods of time). It was impossible to participate in the water Zumba classes. The room was spacious, but in dire need of updating. There were inadequate number of electrical outlets. Also, not compatible with current devices …. Example - cell phones, IPAD, computer etc. Except for what I stated above, the property was very nice and I would probably visit again.

Staff were very friendly and were always willing to help. Room was cleaned everyday and no sand leftover, fridge always stocked, good food. Spa was very good and we got amazing service. Cabana on the pricey side but food was amazing. More NA beer and NA selection would be nice.

First of all, I want to mention that I’m not a picky vacationer. For me and my 3-year-old daughter, the most important things were the ability to relax on the beach and to have timely access to quality food. 1.Beach Access: Despite being at an all-inclusive resort, I was told I needed to pay $250 for a cabana because all the beach lounges were “reserved” — even though many were unoccupied. A staff member told me guests start claiming lounges as early as 4 a.m. I was not willing to wake up my toddler that early to compete for a place to relax. That same staff member then offered to reserve a spot for me — for cash — which felt inappropriate and unprofessional. 2. Dining Issues: The buffet experience was chaotic and unsanitary. The food selection was poor, and the conditions were far from clean. We waited 40 minutes in line just to be seated — again, not ideal when trying to keep a young child fed on a schedule. 3. Dinner Reservations: To have dinner at one of the restaurants, you had to reserve a table — which is a normal policy for all-inclusive resorts. However, I stood in line for one full hour trying to make a reservation, only to be told everything was fully booked for that evening. The only option offered was to pay out-of-pocket at a non-inclusive restaurant. Out of desperation, I went to the steakhouse to avoid another long buffet line and ended up spending $300. In the end, I had to book another hotel and leave.

Do not stay at this property. The first day we got there we started by getting drink at the pool. The drinks tasted bad as if the water had something. We then went to dinner, the plates of food were in extremely small proportions, the food tasted bland and unseasoned. Later that night my stomach was upset by something I ate. The service was the only good thing. Once it turned night we went to our room where we found 2 cockroaches in our room. We immediately went to the front desk and asked for another room. Once given our new room we instantly checked everything and found a cockroach on the window curtains. We went to the front desk and asked for a complete refund which they did do, however, by then it was 12AM and no other place would let us book a room for the night as they asked to book it online but it was technically already the next day so we couldn’t book for that night. After some thinking, me and my wife decided we would uber to the airport and sleep the night there and head back home from how bad of an experience this place gave us. Thankfully our uber driver recommended a residence inn, and they had a room for the night. Don’t waste your money on this horrible place in dire need of renovations and pest control.

This property is less than a one star. My family and I moved 6 times because of the ROACH infestation, soiled mattresses and leaking ceiling with moldy walls. Unsanitary and Unhealthy conditions! My niece's son came back with bed bug bites. Hotel is closing down in May for renovations and they simply do not care. Staff does not care and very rude. I cried for two days straight. I have traveled quite a bit in my life and never saw the filth that I saw at this hotel. Mold on bread, roaches on fruit etc etc. Would never ever never stay at this resort ever again not even if they renovated it.

Pésimo servicio. Se notaba que ya iban a cerrar el hotel: La mayoría del personal atendía con mala cara o fingían que no escuchaban cuando les hablabas. TODOS los días encontramos una cucaracha en el cuarto (diferente obvio). El primer día tuvimos que marcar 3 veces para que fueran a hacer la limpieza del cuarto como a las 3 pm. Pedimos una almohada extra el primer día y nos llegó la última noche y porque nos quejamos. Pedimos pantuflas que jamás llegaron. Dos trajes de baño de mi hijo desaparecieron misteriosamente del cuarto y pues “ni modo” no podían hacer nada

Food quality was poor , rooms were dirty we had a broken shower handle and a water leak outside our room door and this was an upgraded room I paid additional for with an ocean view . We requested a kettle which was denied and water bottles which seemed to be a difficult request as we have a 10 month old to wash her bottles and they would only give a few at a time. Terrible experience!

DO NOT STAY AT PARADISUS CANCÚN. I read all the reviews and decided to take a chance and regret it. FAR FROM LUXURY. 3 star at best. Everything seemed great when I checked in until i got to my room to find roaches (the brown house roach - not an outdoor insect). I took pics/video to show front desk staff. The front desk supervisor, David, seemed annoyed when brought to his attention and refused to take a look at the pics. When he wanted to put us in the room right next door, we refused and asked to be placed on a different floor. He became visibly frustrated and keep asking why wouldn’t we stay in the room he suggested. Multiple times i had to say “because I’m not comfortable”. He kept saying the room is fine because it has been cleaned. I kept reminding him they thought the first room was fine/cleaned and it wasn’t. So after going back and forth another employee, Ceci, said she would help us. After a few hours, she found us another room on the 5th floor. This room smelled like they just exterminated so for the first hour n the room, I had to leave patio door and room door open to get the smell out. The room was VERY old and outdated, and didn’t have the same amenities as the first room but because we were tired of going back and forth with the supervisor and taking hours to get settled in, we decided to just tough it out. Food - the buffet restaurant food was “just ok”. Just tasty enough to fill the void. Customer service - TERRIBLE. Most staff don’t like their job

Love the aesthetics of this property. The view outside and how some restaurants are designed is truly beautiful. Some staff were memorable and fun! The drinks at the lemon bar were awesome. Food was hit or miss most of the trip, which seems typical at resorts. The beds are comfortable and the room is clean, however, the plug in the bathroom kept going out and little touches were outdated and needed to be updated such as the tv and shower curtain.

Overall, the property was nice, although I don't know that we'd go back. The lobby was gorgeous and it had a great beach; however, the rooms definitely need some updating. We ended up changing rooms three times because of various issues - shower not working, sink not draining, tub leaking, etc. Also, the outlets in the room were touch and go. Most didn't work, and we ended up relying on the bathroom outlet to charge everything as that was the only ones that worked. The kids pool was great and ended up spending most days there as the main pool was so deep. To get to the swim up bar, you had to basically stand on your tiptoes or swim there. - there was literally no shallow end unless you were at the actual swim up bar.

We loved the property feel and look. The staffing seemed short and often not available at the restaurants for refills. The guest services were rude and short when asked basic questions. One day we had 3 different room services come when we were trying to take showers, rest and kept insisting to come in and give us towels. Felt unsafe with the persistent knocking. Cancún is beautiful and activities were geared towards family not for adults only which felt short for staying on the adult only side.

Check in process took about 1.5 hours. The actual hotel and staff were great. Beautiful pool, and views. However, getting reservations for restaurants that only took reservations was very hard. Many nights only had dinner options at 9:30. The bars all close at 11, and so does the lounge area. They should have at least one area open later. Food was good, but their system of doing things can definitely have improvements.

The Paradisus Cancun Resort is beautiful, always clean and very impressive! Every staff member was always so courteous from our early morning coffee station visit, to the staff at the pool and the waiters at the various restaurants. They could not do enough for you. There are a nice variety of restaurants on sight to choose from including a great buffet. For us It would have been useful if each individual restaurant posted on their door their hours of operation as well as a copy of their menu. We walked past these restaurants everyday on our way to the pool and it would have been helpful in planning our day. Lastly, we want to acknowledge the customer service staff as well as the bellhops for their friendly and efficient way of making our stay so enjoyable. Thank you to all!

It was a really awesome place and everything was amazing the only thing I would say they have to improve could be the food quality, it is good but I think the food is not at the same level from the other amenities, lastly the tvs, today everybody watch netflix, prime, hulu or others streaming services and not having a smart tv in a hotel like this is kind a miss. Just want to state again, everything was amazing but thise are just 2 small things that can be improved

It was the most wonderful stay we’ve ever had! From the receptionist Valeria who checked us in to the bellboys who assisted when we were leaving- the full staff was fabulous! I loved the view of the drive into the resort. So green and a beautiful water fountain. The view of the ocean on the back side was the best I’ve ever seen. The food in the restaurants was delicious and the service was amazing. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. The activities staff was so fun at the pool. The pool bar staff are the real hero’s of this resort. They were running around all day long making our drinks and food. They deserve all the tips we gave them. We loved getting to know Daisy the pool kitty. She was so sweet. I looked forward to seeing her everyday. And last but not least. The best part of our trip was our butler Galdino. He made this trip for us the best. He got balloons for my friends birthday in her room. He made sure we had dinner reservations every night and that there was a dessert with a candle so we could sing her happy birthday. He was so attentive to us and messaged us on What’s app daily to stay connected. He was so kind to us. All of these things will help us make the easy choice to come back.

Paradisus was an excellent choice. Me and my wife could not be more pleased. Beautiful resort perfect for relaxation. Not too over crowded but at the same time very energetic vibes all around. Aqua world for water activities is literally across the road, the resort is pretty close to the airport as well. The rooms are fine. We didn’t like the room we got initially and they kindly upgraded us to the premium suite which was breathtaking. Staff is very helpful. The buffet is good for an all inclusive. Lots of restaurants and food options.

Very nice stay, relaxing location further from the main Cancún tourist area, but also only a 10 minute car ride if you want to go towards there, staff was all very friendly and helpful with anything you would need. They also let us know they are about to do a massive renovation to the entire resort, will have to check it out again when it is updated.

Beautiful hotel, dining and beachfront. Super clean restrooms by the pools and beach. Reservations needed for restaurants. Limited menu and portions on the reserved restaurants. Sal steak house not included in your stay. Malva international buffet have a variety of different foods but needs a bit of flavor. But overall very clean and beautiful.

Resort is immaculate, clean, staff is friendly and nice! I would just love to start seeing antibacterial hand soap in resorts and hotels in general. But otherwise the resort is amazing and a must visit if heading to Cancun! Aqua world is also very easy going for activities and super fun crew!

Disappointed with the experience - not worth the price. I had high expectations for this resort, but unfortunately, my stay was not as pleasant and enjoyable as I had hoped. To start, the service was a bit slow - from check-in to dining and daily room cleaning wouldn’t be completed until late afternoon. Every restaurant we went to took so long to the point we considered leaving. For someone who has been to numerous resorts throughout cancun, we had higher expectations. The food was mediocre at best. We booked specifically because it was all inclusive however, to our surprise, all menus had an upgrade for protein options. We decided to upgrade one meal for dinner and for the price, it simply was not worth it. Nonetheless, the buffet was our preference for the remainder of our stay. Additionally, to top it off, we found a huge cockroach on the bathroom sink. Again, I have stayed at plenty resorts and have never come across an experience like this. Unfortunately, it is not a place I would return to or recommend. I am not one to leave a review and genuinely wanted to enjoy my stay, but it fell short in several key areas.

Resort- beautiful and clean, the rooms were dated but they were clean and once they start renovations I am sure they will be updated. Pools/Beach- I read reviews about how hard it was getting chairs, we never had that issue. The pools were beautiful and clean. The beach is the best beach in the hotel zone. I took a long walk and was able to compare the Paradisius beach with others- by far, the nicest, cleanest, largest beach out of every hotel I walked past. Activities- Tons of activities for the kids. The activity staff are wonderful. Our family had so much fun every night, between the jump houses one night and the family friendly silent disco, it was wonderful! Food- the buffet was great for. Breakfast but we did not like the dinner options. There was nothing for kids and I wish there were tacos, guacamole, or anything that would be standard for Mexico. The restaurants were all amazing- Flora was our least favorite but we loved Cielo, blue agave, Lemon Fish and Capella. Jose at Capella was our favorite, he was so friendly and provided outstanding service. The coffee shop had amazing coffee, the staff was also amazing!!! Concierge service- our concierge was wonderful. He booked all of our reservations, the escape room, our Bali bed, and sent us activities for the day. I am not sure if it was worth the extra money, although it was convenient having him do all of this- I read some reviews that their concierge put milk and cookies in the room and balloons- we don’t get that.

The beach was the only benefit of being at this resort, however even being able to sit on a Bali bed on the beach is a whole ordeal- we had a Bali bed included for one day with our upgrade to family concierge and even then, we can’t get ocean-facing ones or beachside ones. There is a premium cost for these- sadly they were never used during our stay which is a shame because that would have been redeeming.

Pros - great view, beach and pool area are great to have fun Cons - very hard to get reservations at the restaurants. Our trip was for 3 days. The day we arrived, they informed us that there are no reservations available for the next 3 days! When we went to restaurants directly and asked if we can get a table in case there are cancellations, they said yes but then avoided us completely. They did not want to serve more people. The staff was not at all friendly. We ended up eating in the buffet place most of the time where the food is subpar. Rooms are very basic. Clean and minimal.

I would’ve given this property 5 stars if we weren’t nickel and dimed for basically everything. We paid extra to upgrade our experience to the Reserve (adult only) and to have a concierge. We were overall pleased with the upgrade which was to include two exclusive restaurants and premium liquor. However, we paid $80 for a bottle of wine at dinner that costs $15 in a store, $200 to get a better quality steak for two at Sal, and $65 extra for a lobster tail at Aqua Marina which was completely ridiculous. The food at the Cielo restaurant was terrible! The restaurant by the Reserve pool was great and worth the upgrade. The staff was absolutely incredible and what made the trip worth all of the extra costs in the end. Special thanks to Jose, Jamil, and Victor. The property was immaculate, but floors were SO slippery I had to walk barefoot. This property is set to go through renovations in May. I would consider returning there after.

Beautiful hotel, dining and beachfront. Super clean restrooms by the pools and beach. Reservations needed for restaurants. Limited menu and portions on the reserved restaurants. Sal steak house not included in your stay. Malva international buffet have a variety of different foods but needs a bit of flavor. But overall very clean and beautiful.

really loved the location and access to the beach and other amenities. However the food options were limited. The reservations to the restraunts on ground seemed hard to get (Most of these are only open for Dinner) and the one Buffet option that was open had pretty much the same menu for Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner for the one week we stayed there. We were only able to get reservations for Lemon fish and Blue Agave during our stay and both were very disappointing. The food selections at these places were limited and were served cold and were generally not great to taste either. Kinda explains why were able to get reservations at only these two easily.
