I think it was undergoing renovations. Lots of noise during the day. Rooms needed painting and updating. The place had a funny smell about it. No elevator for handicap assistance.

Hotel was decent for the price paid but was definitely not one to pick/book in advance. Very dated building and rooms, bed was the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept in, rooms not clean upon arrival and not cleaned during stay, the breakfast is so lackluster that it shouldn’t be called breakfast, and many items needed maintenance attention including the broken dryer and front door to the hotel that has duct tape holding the latch.

Price was inexpensive. Room was clean, but bathroom is small. It's under construction so there were dumpsters and old mattresses and furniture in the parking lot. It severed its purpose and at a good rate. No elevator, so be prepared for some stairs. We were only staying 1 night. Would stay again!

We were supposed to have a king room with a pull out couch, 3 adults. We for a king bed, all 3 of us were at the check in. They loved us to a double queen room that had mold on the shower ceiling. It did not feel clean, we were very disappointed.

Lobby and breakfast area were very clean. Stairwell and hallways could use a good scrub. Room was ok…nothing bad, nothing special. You get what you pay for. Kind of a weird smell when I first walked in the room so had to air it out. Staff were very friendly. Conveniently located on the business spur.

Hotel is really dirty. Pulled back my covers and found hair and stains on my sheets. Only had one towel in the bathroom, which was dirty. Hotel was very loud late at night and early in the morning. The whole thing was rundown. Literally had a phone book from 2016 on the counter. Definitely would not recommend.

Was extremely disappointed with my stay. The toilet had the paper sign of being “sanitized and cleaned” but as soon as I lifted the lid, the toilet seat itself had skid marks all over it. The shower had hair still in it. All the towels had stains on them, not one of them was white and clean. The chair had food crumbs all over it as if the person who cleaned just brushed them off from the table. The refrigerator and microwave were dirty and not wiped down either. The hotel itself reeks of cigarettes to the point where I got a headache from the smell. It says no smoking but I could smell someone actively smoking both cigarettes and marijuana inside. The internet was also very slow. The parking lot had a huge hole in the middle with no indications or cones to alert drivers at night when parking. Overall probably the worst hotel I have stayed at.

Front desk staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Rooms need updating and repairs to drywall and other cosmetic item. Rooms NEED carpet. Solid imitation wood planks good to accommodate snowmobilers but uncomfortable and would also minimize noise.

Property was clean, staff was great. However the walls were as thin as paper. Me and the people we traveled with who where two doors down could hear every step the people above us made. Heard a baby crying several doors down. Heard conversations in the hall, heard dogs barking. I felt like I was sleeping in a college dorm room.

Room was clean how ever they must have recently remodeled the rooms. The beds in the photos were not what we got. What we did get was mattresses that may as well have been a rock. There is firm bit this felt like sleeping on a plank of wood. We usually love this hotel but the beds made for a rough nights sleep

I was nervous when I checked in ass the front desk area doesn't look the nicest. Once into my room I was pleasantly surprised that the room was updated and hardwood floors. The only complaint about the room that the fan in the bathroom was loud. The room was comfortable overall.

The hotel was nice and clean. Breakfast was ok, just cold cereal and toast. The sad part to me was the staff. The Staff here are not friendly, nor helpful. I tried calling multiple times trying to find a place to get ice but no one answered the phone. I walked around looking but the ice the machine I found was broken. When I finally got someone to answer the phone they said there might be one on another floor but they weren’t sure and hung up before I could ask another question. I will not be staying here again. We felt very unwelcome here. This just showed me how important customer service is, it can make or break your stay. It broke ours. We actually checked out a day early.

I was travelling by myself, a woman and my early 50s. I became very sick in the morning after I stayed. I was unable to get myself to my vehicle and had to call the front desk to tell them I would be calling for an ambulance. The girl at the desk who was a manager Said if you want, I will come and sit with you until They come to pick you up. I asked her to do that, and I cannot even begin to tell you how safe I felt that someone thought enough of me to treat me like their own family. She gathered my things and had me ready to go when the ambulance arrived, I was vomiting profusely, and was unable to think clearly. she did the thinking for me and as the ambulance arrived, I felt very safe and well taken care of. I have never been sick on a trip before and had never thought about not being able to help myself. I am glad that I was at the Americas Best and I was blessed to have her take care of me while the ambulance came. It made my family back at home. Very reassured. I would be OK. They took care of my things while I was gone and I will never be able to thank them Enough. I think the girls name was Stacey, but she was definitely a manager. Thank you, Stacy for taking care of me when I couldn’t. God bless you.

Right next to the State Police (safety) and Walmart for convenience. Must drive to town though. Some of the furniture was upgraded, the bed and TV and dresser but the rest of the room was pretty dated including lighting and air conditioning...but it worked just noisy. Smaller room but great value.

Couldn't find a room in SSM Canada so crossed the border to stay one night. It was an easy cross, hotel was only a few minutes from border. Next to lots of shopping if needed.

For a budget hotel, this was the cleanest I have found in over two weeks of travel. Staff was courteous and friendly.... they stored my luggage until check-in and I felt the area was safe and the parking lot was safe for my motorcycle. The breakfast lacked, but considering the price I could go find a breakfast restaurant.... and would not hold it against the hotel.

The hotel location was perfect for easy on/off. The room was clean. The staff was great, both evening and morning. The driveway entry needs to be smoothed out or a sign should be placed before the bump, entering and leaving.

The property had everything working (electrical outlets, air conditioning, appliances, etc.). The beds were comfortable and clean. The building’s outside and inside might not be appealing for some people, but I was able to get a good night sleep. The breakfast, however, can be improved. The waffles were cold and premade, and there wasn’t anything available to drink except for milk (the drink machine for orange juice and apple juice was out of service). Overall, it was an OK experience.

Always stay here on my what through. Rooms are always clean! Like the hard floors to keep things tidy. Just wish the breakfast had meat of some type. Jowever, lots of coffee, juice, bread, and cereal options.
