The lounge area is lovely and cozy; very historic . The rooms were fine. There are limited outlets and no USB ports , so bring an extension cord . The bathroom was so dark, that I thought that the light was not on . Breakfast buffet was good . The location is very convenient and walkable . There is no parking , so after you drop you luggage, you’ll need to head to a parking garage .

The hotel is in a great location. If you come by a car, it is a bit of a challenge since the streets are narrow and parking is a three-minute walk away. Plus side… it’s affordable and hotel staff are super helpful. Our room had no heat the first night so we were cold. On the second night, our last night, there was heat and it was better. Overall, we’d likely stay here again.

This is a lovely hotel in a great location in the old city of Ronda, just a few minutes from the new bridge. The staff was incredibly helpful. The room was small but pleasant and we were able to walk to everything. A great base for exploring Ronda. FYI: it's called the "Hotel San Gabriel" on the signs. If you're looking for parking, it's in a paid lot about a quarter mile from the hotel off the town square.

This was a great stay. The staff were awesome. They have a 5 seat theater to show old black and white movies which we did. A unique experience we will remember.

Indiscutivelmente hospedar-se em um hotel com características históricas é uma experiência interessante, no entanto um prédio antigo não deve ser sinônimo de velho. O apartamento que ficamos não estava bem cuidado: espelhos quebrados, ar condicionado em pessimo estado, pintura descascando, teias de aranha. Somado a outros aspectos como toalhas muito finas e frigobar que não gelava adequadamente me fazem acreditar que nao merece as 4 estrelas que ostenta. Nao procuro hotéis por luxo, mas com um conforto mínimo que me faça sentir no mínimo igual a minha casa, o que não aconteceu desta vez. De todas formas para uma noite estava ok, considerando sua localização estratégica.

The property was traditional and authentic. We had a 4 poster bed in our room, which was very comfortable. Location was ideal, close to the Puente Nuevo bridge and other tourist attractions. Unfortunately the Wi-Fi was very slow in the room and we could smell the drains, but apart from that we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel.

Trevligt hotell med charm. Rent och snyggt och väldigt serviceminded personal. Hotellet ligger centralt i gamla delen av Ronda och man går till bron på 5 minuter. Vi trivdes väldigt bra men var lite besvikna på frukosten som vi inte riktigt tyckte höll måttet. Vi bokade in oss på första frukostpasset kl 08:00-08:45 och personalen var inte klara då och vi fick vänta. Frukostutbudet var inte heller riktigt i nivå med våra förväntningar.

This is an old house so converted to a hotel so each room is different. Our room was fantastic with a 4-post bed and a beautiful tiled bathroom (fanciest bathroom of any hotel we stayed in this trip) Easy walking to all parts of Ronda. Hotel staff was very helpful both for local info and for planning a driving trip to other white hill towns. Wish we could have stayed longer!

This hotel was fabulous! The property itself is in the perfect location for walking everywhere. It is a magnificently decorated hotel, with stunning woodwork, art, antiques and exquisite decor. The sitting room and breakfast rooms were lovely, warm and inviting. The winding wooden staircase added a very special charm to the ambiance of this beautiful place. Breakfasts were delicious and the staff were wonderful, professional, and enormously helpful. We particularly enjoyed meeting Isabelle, the head manager in reception who welcomed us so graciously. I can’t use enough superlatives. Our room was very comfortable, tasteful and spacious. Do yourselves a favor and book several nights at this historical hotel. You will not be disappointed!

This property is unique and in the perfect location in old town Ronda. We had an excellent stay. Easy to walk, right in middle of town, so much to see and lots of options to eat. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked very well. Keeping us from giving it a higher rating were the little things like outdated bathroom (the toilet ran constantly and was slow, and for a larger person it would have been impossible to get to, paying extra for the breakfast, not re-supplying coffee and minibar, average staff interaction, and not so great experience getting to an early morning train. (the train station didn't open till 7:10am, but staff insisted on an early taxi that they "could not guarantee" would arrive on time, adding needless stress to our very early departure). These are small things and the overall experience was very good. The rooms could use more comfortable sitting chairs for sure, as they were not comfortable at all.

The staff was excellent and greeted us upon our arrival. Do not hesitate to book this hotel as it is historic and so well situated. Parking is off site but not far away. It is tight to unload due to the narrow streets but it works. The breakfast room is charming and we enjoyed the breakfast. Kudos to all of the staff!

The Soho Boutique Palacio San Gabriel is older than the United States. So keep into account you’re in a very old structure. Some will like that others might not. The morning breakfast is adequate and needs improvement. We have had far superior breakfast presentations throughout Spain. It would be ideal if they could raise the level of the breakfast compared to their competition. The showers are situated in a combination of a bath tub/shower. They do not have rubber shower mats so it is very slippery and you have to be extremely careful not to take a fall. The staff were all very polite and friendly. If we were to return to Ronda, it is more likely that we would try another hotel in the city. But if none were available, we would certainly have no issue with returning to the Soho Boutique Palacio San Gabriel.

This hotel just radiates ambiance. It‘s not for those who like slick ultramodern facilities. But for the rest, it has a warmth and charm in its furnishings that is a delight. Each room is unique, but the one we had was a dream suite. Beds very comfortable. Breakfast is lovely, but the breakfast room is tiny, so the meal is offered in shifts (7,8, or 9), which you may wish to know if you are paying for breakfast. Staff are great.

Agradável boutique hotel, muito perto das atrações de Ronda. Existe um parque público a 5' a pé, sensivelmente 300 metros. É possível largar a bagagem no hotel, fazer o check in e de seguida ir parquear o carro. A sala de pequeno almoço é pequena, pelo que é necessário marcar a hora com antecedência.
