Overnight stay for a last-minute business trip. Central location, very convenient to the CBD. Very friendly staff. Room was compact, but had full amenities, and was fresh and clean. Offsite parking (paid, with negotiated rate with the hotel) literally across the street. Very reasonable rate. Not my first stay here, and won’t be my last

Very unimpressed with our stay. We called through to reception to extend our stay by a day, and they told us it had been actioned, however the next morning they had no knowledge of it. They charged my partner for the extra night then when I went to update the room key for the extra night (can't believe that can't be done remotely) they charged me a second time. There is no parking, unless you pay $30 a night to a third party. They also couldn't extend our parking for an extra night. Overall the staff were incompetent and I'll never stay here again.

I selected this place at short notice based on location and price. The location is ok but I think perhaps it’s on the high side for what you get when it comes to price. The hotel occupies the lower levels of an apartment building with residents occupying most of the building. The room was small and plain but not untidy. The lobby cafe/bar/restaurant was handy!

Rooms are comfortable but small, more like an Ibis. Furnishings feel very dated, although rooms are well-maintained. Storage space is very limited. Most Mantra properties offer apartments, this one does not. Despite what the TV menu advises, the hotel hasn't offered meals or breakfast since 2020. The O-Bar & café doubles as hotel reception. It only offers pastries and pre-packaged sandwiches. The "Jak & Hill Café" next door offers good à la carte breakfast options and other meals, 7 days per week. Most other cafés in this area are closed on Sundays. Its a short walk to Central Station and Queen St Mall.

Staff at reception were terrible made me pay $30 for parking when I’d parked my car for 7$ I still haven’t got my deposit back yet n it’s been over a week… Hotel room smelt damp n mouldy the shower leaked & shot water onto the roof

Stinky room, found a half a peanut under the curtain as soon as I checked in lol. The shower room smelled strong of bleach. Made forms as I ran the shower water on the floor. Tiny tiny room. The front staff was nice. AC was good for the hot weather. Overall, not worth the money. Will never stay here again.

The location of the hotel was very convenient. It’s at a walking distance to the bus stops, train stations and Queen Street Mall. We had booked 2 rooms, 1 room with king bed and the other with two single beds. The one with the single beds was smaller in size and was smelly, as if the carpet was not cleaned for a long time.

The bathroom grouting had mould on the walls and around the shower hob and doors I have a photo if you require This is the second hotel recommended by Expedia that had less than pristine bathrooms

The shower drain made the whole room smell. There is mold in the shower and the shower shelf is broken. The room was very small, especially for the price we paid. It took nearly 40 minutes to get checked in.

Overall the room was not as promised. The room was damaged, not up to standard, snd the general condition was abysmal at best. The room was filthy, and had severe buildup of mould and rotting hair in the shower, the bed was a split king, not the standard king the deluxe room promised When trying to get assistance from staff abojt the issue we were simply informed there was no manager until the day after we would have to check out. Truly disappointing and frankly, it doesnt even meet minimum legal standards. Photo evidence probably to be submitted to relevant authories.

A little run down but good basic hotel. Bed really firm. Price was cheap which is why I picked it and ok for the money. Not sure if I’d return unless it was significantly cheaper than others. Do not pay the $26 for breakfast it only includes a hot/cold drink with a sandwich or croissant despite the images suggesting more.

I arrived on time for check in and my room wasn't ready yet. There were no windows in the room and it was tiny. It was clean and the bed was comfy... I don't normally write negative reviews however I was disappointed with this stay.

Booked a “deluxe” room with a king bed, bed was barely bigger than a double, and room was smaller than photos made them out to be. I went straight down to reception and asked if they had given us the wrong room and they said sorry we have had complaints about the bed size but that’s just what it is. Room was also never restocked properly before our stay as there was only decaf coffee left and the packets of empty coffee were left in the box.

Did a group trip and was assured twin beds, 2 days before we arrived they said sorry no twin beds. So one of us in each room had to sleep on the floor as the bed wasn't large enough for 2 people. On the second day, the whole hotel had no hot water.

Hi Mantra team, I travel for work regularly and for the price, this has been one of the worst $210 dollar stays I have had in Australia. While I don't mind small rooms, this room was very small and had no small working desk. Not suitable for travelling workers. And there was no hot water, in tap, or in shower. While I have stayed at cheaper and less nice places, I have never stayed at a over $200 per night place where it had no hot water, and no working desk. Room 507 should be a closet.

The reception staff were amazing and extremely polite. Could not do enough to help us. Bed was very comfortable, just a shame there wasnt a bit more room in our room. Nowhere for our luggage at all.

We booked this property through wotif and specifically booked a king bed as my partner has sleeping issues which impacts my sleep if we don't have a decent size bed. We arrived to the motel around 2:50pm, 50 minutes after the check in time opened. I was met by a guest also staying at the motel by the elevator staying, 'are you checking in, prepare to be disappointed'. Around the corner at reception, there were multiple parties sat around with all their luggage waiting to check in as the rooms were not yet ready. When it came my time, the receptionist apologised for the wait stating that they were booked out and the housekeeper was running behind. Fortunately, our room was ready so we headed atraight up to get ready for our event we had to get to. We opened the door and were unpleasantly surprised by the size of bed. The bed was extremely small, i would be surprised if it was even a queen, and with no time to spare, we had to dump our things to make the 50th we were expected at. Arriving back at the room, i mentioned to my partner that the receptionist had already made me aware that they were booked out, so knowing this we were settled in for the night. While the bed itself seemed fairly comfortable, the size was not what we had booked and we left this morning very tired from a rough night sleep. It's disappointing to not receive what you booked for.

Sheets were dirty / stained, had to ask for fresh towels, toilet paper, new sheets, and rubbish removal as there was no house keeping, stayed for 3 nights 4 days. Paid $582 for 3 nights, room is tiny and one chair and tiny little desk to eat at so if there is two of you’s it’s useless, one person can only sit and eat at a time. No microwave or kitchenette No sink to wash your dishes / cups Had to ask reception for new cups after a day When asked reception for more towels, toilet paper etc, it seemed like an inconvenience and asking for housekeeping they referred to “room service” but it was just the basic housekeeping needing to be done like refilling / changing.

Arrived at the property and checked in, reception tried to charge me again even though i had already paid and had to find the receipt to prove it. Once checked in i was told the twin room i had booked wasn't available because hotels.com hadntbtold them and there hasn't anything they could do until the next day even though it was only 2.00pm when i checked in. Getting into the room it was very small and we didn't have anywhere to put 2 cases. And to top my stay off the hotel attempted to still charge me for the stay but fortunately my credit card company stopped the payment. I definitely wouldn't recommend stopping at this hotel the experience i had was very poor

직원분들의 친절함이나 서비스는 정말 좋았다...다만 객실의 청결함이나 와이파이, 화장실 컨디션 등 디테일한 부분에서 부족한 점들이 좀 보였고, 위치도 생각보다 찾기 어려웠다. 센트럴 역에서부터 언덕 또는 계단을 6-7분 정도 올라가야하기 때문에 짐이 무겁다면 (특히 여름에) 조금 힘들 수 있다. 그렇지만 시티 한 가운데에서 이 정도 가격으로 숙박할 수 있다는 것은 무시할 수 없는 장점. 그러나 나중에 브리즈번에 다시 한 번 오게 된다면 굳이 이곳에서 숙박하지는 않을 것 같다. (끝으로, 호텔 주변에 숨겨진 보석같은 카페나 음식점들이 많지는 않지만 몇 군데 있다. Seeds and Soul, Hill station cafe에 꼭 가볼 것.)

My room facing the street was quiet and had lots of light coming in. Great shower and comfy bed. Staff were helpful. I enjoyed the location as it was so easy to walk to Central station to connect with the airport train. Just a short walk down Edward st to access the main hubs of the city. Would stay again.

4/5 Pleasing This property is within walking distance of Central Station and Queen Street Mall. You can also walk to Chinatown Mall and Fortitude Valley in under 30 minutes. The room and common areas were clean, quiet, and staff were hospitable. They held my personal belongings for a few days while I flew to Sydney. I originally booked my stay for two nights but decided to extend my booking by an additional night after returning to Brisbane before flying home.

It is very affordable and if you’re mostly out and only in the room for rest then it’s sufficient. However, the location is not as close to the city centre or river area if you’re there for a holiday and requires a bit of an uphill trek to get to from bus stops.

All social media sites advertise a restaurant including the in room online compendium but this has not been operating since covid. We chose to stay here with the on site restaurant a draw card. Surely with todays technology the sites should be updated to be a true reflection of the services available. The deluxe room was also very small for two with limited room to relax given we were there for 5 days.

Good Location for solo overnight stay, very clean and welcoming. Bar and dining available if needed and close to good local cafes. 5 min walk to Central station. Would recommend over other Spring Hill properties.
