Pearl Design Hotel - Frankfurt City

Lovely hotel. Nice rooms and good service. 15 min walk into town. Car parking good at cost of 20e but secure underground

The hotel is close enough to the train station. I picked it as it was 5mins from a venue that I attended to, also for the luggage storage option, which I needed as my return flight was in the evening only. Not sure about the 4* the hotel's got, I had been in much more posh 4* hotels in the past, I would rate it at a solid 3*. But don't get me wrong, it's clean and all ok; with a 5 star breakfast :D The receptionist was helpful, though he didn't have a clue that you can buy your tram tickets in each tram stop, and wanted to send me back all the way to the train station. The single room was spacious enough, but could do with a second pillow, but I guess if you need one, you could ask for it. Also, it seems like a stupid fashion these days, it's not the first hotel I've been lately that has got no reading lights!! Just a very dim (black shade) side lamp. No ceiling light either above the bed. If you like to read your book before sleep, take your little reading lamp with you. Other than that, I had a comfortable night. The bathroom was nice and clean too. I will return should another travel come up for me in Frankfurt.

We chose the Pearl hotel because of its proximity to the Frankfurt HBh which is an easy 10-15 minute walk. The hotel room was a little basic but had English speaking channels and an excellent clean shower. Breakfast was fantastic and had lots of options plus outstanding coffee. The area also has a few good restaurants. We ate at Persia which is about 5 minutes walk away but there are plenty of places closer to the HBh. You are also only a few minutes from a Rewe supermarket (around the corner) and very close to the river which is delightful to walk or cycle along. We would definitely stay here again on a short stay.

In common with all accommodation in Germany a tourist tax of two euros is collected directly from the hotel on arrival. The Pearl only accepts cash for this tax although was no issue delaying payment until check out.

駅から少し歩くが、治安は良く、夜も安心でき、近くにスーパーもあるので便利。ホテルは清潔で、必要な電化製品は揃っており、スタッフはフレンドリー、とても快適に過ごせます。

Im Großen und Ganzen für Geld sehr ausreichend. Badezimmer leichter Urin Geruch und das Licht ohne Funktion und etwas laut im und ums Hotel. Es war aber auszuhalten.

It was not as nice as it was portrayed. Black mold on bathroom ceiling, carpet was really nasty, and tons of bugs.

If this is the "Pearl Design Hotel," the pearl has been left in a muddy oyster bed for decades. The four-star rating is baffling – this struggles to meet basic two-star standards. The Great Photographic Deception The website photos must have been taken by a professional illusionist. They bear no resemblance to reality. The Bathroom Genuinely tatty. The shower was encrusted with limescale you could scrape off with a knife. Fixtures held together with silicone. No toilet roll holder – just the roll balanced wherever possible. The Room Shaggy carpet (in 2025!) covered in dirty patches. Dilapidated furniture. Of three window lights, only one worked. The others had missing tubes or emitted infuriating electrical buzzes from failing starters. The Air Conditioning Opening the louvres revealed an interior caked in filth. The display helpfully showed the filter was overdue for replacement – by months, judging by the state. The Ironing Equipment The first iron's sole was completely blackened from burning. The replacement had a limescale-filled reservoir and a power cord patched with sticky tape – an actual fire hazard. The board cover was filthy, forcing me to iron between towels. Verdict See also the enclosed photographs; I'm not making this up. The neighbourhood isn't ideal, but room conditions are entirely the hotel's responsibility. I will never return nor recommend this property. This pearl needs to be thrown back into the sea.

Wie immer alles ok das Zimmer war recht nett und großes Bad und gute Klimaanlage

Decently sized rooms, good bed, great location near the Main riverbanks and the center.

The room is tiny but you have everything you need. Room was clean and cool with ac on, so that was really good. I sprained my ankle really bad but the front desk rep was kind enough to bring me bags of ice and bottle of water upstairs.

Preis unschlagbar ... Zimmer ist ok aber weder Kühlschrank noch Safe haben funktioniert. Dusch war sehr schön und Heizung auch ok. Sauberkeit ok ...

Sehr laut nachts auf den Fluren durch junge Gäste

Es war ziemlich kalt im Zimmer mit nur 17 grad und die Klima hat sehr lang gebra

Super Bad und das Zimmer zum Hof war sehr ruhig. Ansonsten war das Zimmer etwas unpraktisch eingericht aber alles ok.

Für den Preis ok. Leider der Kühlschrank und Tresor in verschiedenen Zimmern immer wieder defekt. Auch das man mich nach dem 10. Aufenthalt immer noch nicht wiedererkennt sagt mir etwas

(Not a long walk either) The gentleman working the front desk Solar, was very friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable, as did the rest of the staff. Room was bigger than most European rooms. The only downside to our stay was the air conditioning, but that’s a personal issue as I like it freezing in my room. The rooms have carpet, but everything seemed clean. It’s close to the waterfront and there are plenty of food options around.

Very friendly staff. A clean hotel and all in all a positive experience considering the low price.

Kann man denke ich nach einer Nacht nicht wirklich abgeben. Kann nur sagen, die Mitarbeiter (Empfang) super freundlich und hilfsbereit 😊

The staff are very helpful and friendly specially the Front Desk. The rooms are actually spacious and the location is great. I will definitely book here again

Nice staff. Clean room, good strong WiFi. 15 minute walk from Train station through some doggy areas at night. Used taxi services after my first experience. No public transport near the hotel

The location was within walking distance from the HBF and a quick Uber to the airport. The shag carpet was a choice and our bathroom had some obvious water damage, but it was good for the night and the price.

Pagas por lo que ofrece, ni más ni menos. Hotel práctico, sin grandes lujos pero con todo lo necesario. Calefacción correcta. Cama cómoda. Televisión con canales de pago, incluido partidos de Qatar 2022. A cinco minutos andando de la estación de bus para ir al aeropuerto de Hahn (flibco) y de Flixbus, y a diez minutos de la estación principal de tren. Caminando hasta el ayuntamiento y alrededores son 25 minutos. Supermercado Rewe a dos minutos andando. Varios restaurantes de diferentes paises en los alrededores (turco, italiano, balcánico, etiope, etc)

La moqueta estaba un poco sucia y la habitación olía raro, pero por lo demás, muy contenta. El desayuno guay.

Nur Lieferservice außerhalb des Frühstücks und die Angebote in der direkten Umgebung recht bescheiden.

10 minutter gå tur til banegården. Endvidere er der ok gå afstand ind til centrum af byen. Ellers er værelset en god størrelse og rent. Ok med udbud af TV stationer. Ingen minibar- men et køleskab som man kan fylde op. Morgenmaden er ikke det vilde skrig, men man kan blive mæt. Alt i alt et fint ophold og godt sted at opholde sig i Frankfurt.
