Newport Mooloolaba Apartments

Stayed for one night in motel accommodation on ground floor. Great location, easy parking and friendly reception staff. Room was spacious and clean. Bed comfortable. This place suited our purposes perfectly. I read reviews saying the motel rooms are very noisy. Our room was right next to the pool, reception and the front entrance. There was noise from those, but it didn't inconvenience us because we were at the beach, out for dinner, sleeping, then got up fairly early. If you wanted to sleep in you might be bothered. We will definitely stay here again.

Staff all helpful,friendly and approachable. Room and area had a lovely feel about. Very pleasant stay. Highly recommend. Great location . Pool and gardens high standard.

The noise from the landscaping alterations was unbelievable. Like a jack hammer right next door. We presumed they must be altering the bathroom on the other side. They obviously knew about this when we booked the unit but did not tell us until 4 days before we were due to arrive. They offered to move us to another unit but only if we paid an additional amount. Disgusting and disappointing.

Lovely suite with great pool and spa (heated). Lady on reception was friendly and helpful. Good location close to beach, shops and restaurants.

There was no driveway for vehicles picking us up or delivering us. We had to walk a distance and /or cross a busy road. My wife had just had an eye operation and this was difficult. I hope this will improve when the modifications around the back are completed.

Great choice near food. Parking could be policed better. The parking was ample around the site to be fair though. Comfortable and quiet.

Tammy was an absolute legend to deal with, very helpful, a great room which was very clean and tidy, easy and simple access.

Loved this property. The unit was nice and bright, nice renovation. Beautiful views. Sliding doors need some attention. My only issue was the cleanliness. When I opened a draw in the kitchen there was a long hair in the draw and in the ensuite there was hair in the shower cubicle. Apart from that we loved staying here and will return. I was sad to have to leave and return home.

Some floor tiling was loose in hallway and felt uneasy when stepped on

Ndewly renovated room which was clean and spacious. Couple of teething problems. I think we were the first ones in the room since the renovation but the staff were friendly and resposive so I'm sure they'll sort them out

Beautiful room and clean. Would like to see shower gel included and no charge for clean towels with a longer stay especially for the price.

While I knew that I had the economical room I'd hoped for a view of....something but the outside was already taken. The room, however, was handy and safe and I slept well. It was perfectly placed near the beach so I was ultimately content, and took my breakfast and tea on the bench outside the Surf Club-the people watching was off the chart!

I would suggest not to stay on the corner overhanging the Sea Life and the wharf because the music is horrific and loud on Saturday night. But the middle room are good.

Needed full length mirror. Bathroom mirror was too high to use. Strange having toilet with no door, right opposite fridge.

Should be way more soundproofing between floors, walls and outside. Loud traffic very early mornings. Chairs being dragged on floor above and better bigger comfier beds

The property was not as advertised, there were excessive people in units beside us which Staff could not care about which kept everyone up all hours of night,

It suited our purposes enough that we booked for another night in May 2025. Both times we had the closest room to reception, opposite the lifts, next to the pool. It was clean, comfortable and very spacious. Parking was easy and close to the rear entrance. Several reviews refer to how noisy these rooms are. This one was noisy, but that didn't bother us as we spend little time in the room and each time was an overnight stay on the way elsewhere. If you want a quiet, relaxing stay and spend time in the room - avoid this one. During our stay in May we checked in and went out. We came back to get ready for dinner and found the 90cm bathroom mirror had fallen off the wall and shattered on the floor. Reception was closed. When we called the after hours number we were very surprised to be told that no staff were available and were asked to clean it up ourselves. This was extraordinarily poor service, and not in accordance with our other interactions with reception staff. After some to-ing and fro-ing we were told someone was now onsite and would clean up the glass. This bloke was friendly and helpful and got it done efficiently. We are very unlikely to stay here again based purely on the attitude of the person that answered the after hours call.

We only had one night there but we thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was amazing. They got us into our room earlier which helped a lot. Walking distance to food & entertainment. Would thoroughly recommend them.

Accommodation was 5 star value for money. The only issue I had was being asked to provide a photo ID (such as driving licence) online. Reading about identity and data theft every day it seems a questionable practice to require this to be sent online and represents a risk to the guest.
