De gym was heel smerig alle apparatuur plakte. De kamerdeur sloot niet goed en dit was bij meerdere kamers zo dus je hoorde het slaan met de deuren. Daarnaast zaten er gaten in de muur en was ook de verf etc. van de muren. Parkeren was prima en personeel was vriendelijk.

What a lovely hotel this is! Very helpful and friendly staff, about 25 minute walk to the centre of town. It has a large bar/ restaurant/ lounge area where we could sit in the evenings. Breakfast was nice, a lot of choice. We had dinner there one night which was delicious. We hired a bike, and there is plenty of space to store your own bikes.

De kamer was qua grootte op zich prima. In de handdoeken zaten alleen rare gele en bruine vlekken. In de prullenbakjes zat nog afval van de vorige klant. De koffiepoeder zat al los in het kopje koffie. Er was airco maar de afvoer van de warme lucht lag gewoon letterlijk in de kamer en kon niet naar buiten vanwege het kiepraam. Het douchewater liep niet goed weg door het putje. Al met al echt ondermaats...

Het personeel op vrijdag beheerste de Nederlandse taal niet. Zaterdag wel. In de nacht viel het gordijn naar beneden, het meisje van de receptie was alleen en kon het niet maken. Daarom zelf maar met plakband in de weer gegaan. In de ochtend veel licht door de ramen waardoor we vroeg wakker waren.

Hotel ligt op een prachtige plek , klein stukje van bushalte af en half uurtje lopen van centrum Amersfoort. We hadden een echt niet nette kamer. Zwarte kitranden in de douche, wastafel met gele vieze barsten en stof centimeters dik overal. De dekbedden waren vol vlekken en het geheel maakte echt geen frisse indruk. We hadden een waterkoker op de kamer met kopjes en theezakjes. Ook waren er koffiecups, alleen geen apparaat om die koffie klaar te maken. Ontvangst in het hotel liet ook te wensen over. Geen aanrader

Erg vriendelijk personeel. Helaas een armoedige en zeer gedateerd interieur. Opbollend vloerkleed in de eetzaal, wastafelranden kapot en onverzorgd, doucheranden oud en onfrisse rubbers. Dat soort zaken. Erg veel lawaai van de weg en van luid pratende mensen onder ons raam laat nog.

Solo travel for a short trip to Amersfoort. Hotel is a nice walk to the railway station, approximately 20 mins or so through a nice neighbourhood. Bed was comfortable however the pillows were quite small and too firm for my liking. No other pillows available in the room to swap or add. Noise travels too so you can hear occupants in adjacent rooms if they're being noisy. I didn't sample breakfast so can't comment on this but the staff I dealt with on check-in and leaving were most helpful, friendly and polite. Despite the issue with the pillows, I'd probably stay here again if visiting Amersfoort for a short period. Its location wasn't an issue as it was cheaper than other more central hotels.

We arrived late at night on a very cold day, the room was freezing, heat didn’t work and the room itself smelled terrible. We called down and were moved to a different room which also didn’t have working heat. After a few hours the person realized he didn’t know how to turn it on and we finally got it on but it still took another hour to get warm. The rooms were very old, smelly and I would not stay here again.

Hotelovernachting geboekt omdat wij de volgende dag een afspraak hadden in de buurt. Ontzettend mooi hotel, maar is toe aan renovatie. Bedden zijn ingezakt, vering is te voelen en niet comfortabel. Kamer heeft een oude look, douche is wel modern en fijn. Kamers zijn erg gehorig, je hoort alles bij wat er gebeurd. Ontbijt zou ik overslaan, weinig keus en wordt ook niet regelmatig bijgevuld. Locatie is wel erg mooi.

Ik vond de kamer er niet goed onderhouden uit zien. Rolgordijn/luxaflex was stuk, wastafel zaten allemaal scheurtjes in, de verf op de muren was aan een opknapbeurt toe, erg beschadigd. Douche was prima overigens, verder was het voldoende, niet heel goed, maar prijs kwaliteit was oké.

Het is een hotel met stijl en historie, prachtig gelegen. Het personeel is buitengewoon vriendelijk, netjes en behulpzaam. De kamer was spartaans, vreselijk donker (bruin/zwarte muren met niets leuks aan de wand) en koud, m.a.w. we kregen een onwelkome schok toen we er binnenkwamen. Het ontbijt was uitstekend

We hebben 15 minuten bij de balie gestaan om in te checken, er was niemand. Toen personeel gezocht en gevonden in de dinerruimte maar die konden ons niet helpen. Lobby en dinerruimte zijn prachtig maar hotel is super gedateerd voor de prijzen. Tapijt tegen de muur achter het bed vind ik niet fris eruit zien en daarnaast waren de kamers vrij donker en ongezellig. Geen nachtlampjes en de deuren klemden enorm. Personeel van het terras buiten was helemaal top!

We hebben 15 minuten bij de balie gestaan om in te checken, er was niemand. Toen personeel gezocht en gevonden in de dinerruimte maar die konden ons niet helpen. My stay was perfect. Besides being a very nice property the staff was able to accommodate some special requests that I have had problems with at other hotels. Absolutely lovely place. Would absolutely stay there again when in that part of the world.

Unfortunately, the service was not at the desired level. I received my room two hours after check-in time because my room was dirty. I had to wait a long time. On the third day, my room was entered after 1:00 by other guests with security!!! I was not satisfied and did not expect a hotel to be like this!

Solo travel for a short trip to Amersfoort. Hotel is a nice walk to the railway station, approximately 20 mins or so through a nice neighbourhood. Bed was comfortable however the pillows were quite small and too firm for my liking. No other pillows available in the room to swap or add. Noise travels too so you can hear occupants in adjacent rooms if they're being noisy. I didn't sample breakfast so can't comment on this but the staff I dealt with on check-in and leaving were most helpful, friendly and polite. Despite the issue with the pillows, I'd probably stay here again if visiting Amersfoort for a short period. Its location wasn't an issue as it was cheaper than other more central hotels.

Autant le personnel de la réception que le personnel du restaurant est courtois. Un serveur, M. Björk Post, nous offrait même le service en français. Les chambres étaient spacieuses et propres. Un très grand stationnement gratuit est à la disposition des clients. L’hôtel est dans un secteur calme à quelques kilomètres de la très jolie ville de Amersfoort. Le petit-déjeuner est très bien, et les plats offerts au dîner sont excellents et frais.

Overall the hotel is very good. They, like others, are short of kitchen staff which meant we waited a long time for our meal for 6. That said, the maitre d’ was very professional and the food worth waiting for 😁

the hotel was OK for the price but one staff gave us wrong info about the towel dryer rack which didn't work. the sink did not drain well and the shower stall leaked water leaving the floor wet around it. Dinner was fine and the staff was great. At breakfast the buffet was often missing items that were not replaced

What a lovely hotel this is! Very helpful and friendly staff, about 25 minute walk to the centre of town. It has a large bar/ restaurant/ lounge area where we could sit in the evenings. Breakfast was nice, a lot of choice. We had dinner there one night which was delicious. We hired a bike, and there is plenty of space to store your own bikes.

Room smelled terrible. They did nothing. You can hear the snoring and talking all night next door. No room in the restaurant for dinner as they bring in tour groups to eat. Disappointed.
