The stay was generally fine, but there are a couple of things I didn’t really like. First, the hotel requires a deposit at check-in. Even though you get it back afterwards, I personally don’t think this is a great way to welcome guests, especially if it isn’t made very clear before booking. There is also a tourist tax of around €7 per person per day, which adds quite a bit to the final cost. I’ve stayed in many hotels, and for me the main issue is transparency. Extra charges like deposits and local taxes should be clearly communicated from the beginning, so guests know exactly what to expect before they arrive.

A nice clean room. Unfortunately I had an accessible room in which the bathroom floor flooded every time I had a shower. Slightly disappointed as had messaged three times to request a quiet room, I was put adjacent to the stairwell next to the lift and the hotel did not reply to any of my three attempts to contact them, apparently they were busy... Slightly took away from the importance of my custom. Otherwise all was good. Clean, comfy, cool and breakfast was good.
