Easy to find and ample parking.. found disabled space.. sign on the wall to inform hotel if a vehicle is not displaying a blue badge... great idea.. Check in was easy and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.. Wide open reception and bar restaurant.. After receiving room key and direction's.. We were advised to arrive early for breakfast as the hotel was fully booked.. We proceeded to our room on the first floor by using the lift... Our room was adapted for persons with disabilities.. Wide open room and large bathroom with walk in shower along with adaptions.. Didn't book this room but it was ideal for my wife with mobility issues.. Double bed ( only criticism.. pillows were hard and lumpy ) .. TV..tea and coffee making facilities.. USB ports by the bed and plug sockets here and there.. So great if you are here for pleasure or business.. Breakfast was a buffet of continental and hot food..bacon eggs and sausages... And a selection of tea coffee and juice.. Fantastic way to start the day... Again staff were friendly and welcoming.. Would definitely return and recommend..

We stayed here for one night as we were at a friends wedding reception nearby. Hotel was easy to find with plenty of free parking. Check in was hassle free and quick. The room was clean and a good size. My only issue (a small one at that) was the shower head pole was slightly loose. I let reception know and left it at that. The bar was well stocked and we had an hour there before going to the function. Reception ordered us a taxi which was on time and reasonably priced. Breakfast(free) was excellent with a good selection of cooked and cold food. We thoroughly enjoyed our night at this hotel and would definitely use it again.

This is an Express by Holiday Inn. If you have stayed anywhere at one you will know what to expect. It's years since we last stayed at one and this was idenitical to all those we have stayed in before. The rooms are compact but comfortable. Good to have a large sturdy desk. Shame no wardrobe or drawers to put clothes. This one is very conveniently situated just outside Bedford just off a main road into town. Plenty of parking, which is always a plus. Hotel was very quiet when we stayed so no noise. Just an inconsiderate businessman conducting an online meeting in the breakfast area for all to hear. He could have chosen to have his meeting in his room and come down for breakfast afterwards. Staff very attentive and helpful.

We stayed 1 night here as a stop over on our way to the New Forest camping trip. Ideal location and exceptional value for money. Very friendly helpful staff. Lovely garden to sit in for an evening drink. Will definitely stay here again.

Excellent place to stay f you have a business trip in Bedford County. BP garage with M&S shop 50 yards away. Has restaurant for meals, nice lounge area for relaxing. Decent spread for breakfast. Free parking. Easy access to motorway. Bed was a bit firm, but only realised later one could request a different mattress, note for next time.

Have stayed here three times in the last 9 months. Maybe this time we were just unlucky with our room but the base of the beds were filthy and stained. Have no idea what it was and do t really want to think about what it was but it made you not want to get into bed. The carpet was dirty and the breakfast area was also stained badly where the cushioning goes up the walls.

Our stay was disappointing this time at this property our room had a horrible smell of drains and sewage odours which was not pleasant especial when we had to sleep in there !!! also we paid for a fold out bed and linen /bedding to be made up for my 7 year old to stay in for the 2 nights we had booked when we arrived they was no bed folded out of which i assembled to find they had not left any bedding or pillows for my child to use to sleep i mentioned to reception the situation

Breakfast was just ok. The food area was a tad messy with spilt food. Tables were not cleared. There was only 1 very large table that was clear but as there was only 2 of us it was far too big. The man on reception cleared the tables in the end and ask was OK. Room was clean and comfortable but bathroom light flashed on and off from the time we got there to time we left. Would still recommended this hotel.

We booked for a family room. Once the sofa bed was set up by the hotel before our arrival, there was hardly any space to access the window. For a family room the rooms are really small. If you want cheap sleep over to meet a need then cool else you’ll have no comfort if staying for a few days. Might be touch in the summer

Room was clean and quiet and got a good night's sleep. Breakfast was fine and at least had hot options, had everything but eggs. The buttons on the shower were missing, thankfully didn't affect the water temperature or pressure. A decent option all in all

Nice welcome from staff, comfortable room on 2nd floor accessed by lift or stairs. Bed comfy, sofa bed could have been better but was fine. Air conditioning was only set to heat mode (in October), but you could turn it off and open the window instead. Good breakfast selection. Overall a good stay.

Staff on the desk were very helpful but we found the bed being a standard 4'6" was too small for us. When we asked if they had a larger bed somewhere, they did not. The air conditioning was a nightmare as it either blew cold air or overly hot air. It also blew directly onto the bed so no chance of leaving it on whilst sleeping. The breakfast was good though.

Staff were professional but during the night I was disturbed by constant alarms going off from 4am till I checked out! Staff were great though in refunding me for the stay due that issue. Although staff were great, I won’t stay at this hotel strictly because of its location!

The check in system was down when we arrived staff were extremely apologetic and gave us a complimentary drink. The system was only down for about half hour once up and running was checked in quickly. Room was comfortable and had everything we needed area coffee etc. I found the hotel clean tidy and quiet. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really nice hot and fresh. It was a buffet type breakfast a good choice of food.

I didn’t have great expectations for the price I paid, even though reviews were very positive. However, everything was superb, from the staff, to the room, the cleanliness, and the breakfast. Location right on the edge of key routes and a 10min cab into Central Bedford. Superb!

Hard to find on sat navigation and no veggie option on breakfast, run out scrambled eggs and asked waiter few times no one brought anything back coffee machine break down and no one fixed it. We had just bread and glass of orange juice

The hotel is going through a remodel but this was not indicated on booking. Breakfast was extremely limited and was transported from the kitchens along halls ways to a small room. The entrance to the hotel is also strange as it is behind a gas station which you drive through. Bedrooms were clean enough though and hotel staff were friendly. Just an shame about the environment. Then again is was a cheap stay, so I guess cannot really complain, but it would have been nice to know about the remodel and lack of breakfast facilities.
