Personally did exactly what it said on the tin, perfectly suitable for my needs and cost during visit, My sister and niece made more use of the utilities(Pool. spa etc) and they loved it. When I return to Manchester, definitely will be staying, hopefully a bit longer and use utilities

Great hotel, facilities were fabulous. Breakfast was superb Thought parking was free but we were told this was only at the weekend. However, the charge was waived so all in all a great place to stay if you are aware of parking charges on arrival

the hotel has everything, Pub, Restaurant, Gym, Swimming the staff are very helpful the Check in and Check out time are not too flexible, the same for kids using the pool. to be fair expectation are set, but more flexibility for the hotel guest would have been highly appreciated.

On one of the days when we were using the pool couldn’t believe how cold the pool was. When we asked the life guard why it was so cold he said the boiler had broken the day before that’s why the water temperature had cooled. This was very disappointing as we were not made aware when we signed in to use the leisure facilities .

Shame that my meal arrived at the table before the staff could poor a pint. And even after that they then tried to charge me a second time it had been that long. When I stated my meal was cold due to their incompetence at poor ing 1beer, they just shrugged their shoulders and walked off. Apart from the restaurant staff this time everything else was good, please note the £5 to park per night and £5 per person to use the facilities but this is listed.

I booked this hotel on the basis of all the information advertised on the site. When I arrived at the hotel after checking in, I was informed that the facilities advertised on Hotels.com wasn’t working i.e. the sauna and steam room was being refurbished. I was absolutely gobsmacked that these facilities were advertised online, it was the reason that I made my booking for that hotel. Otherwise I would’ve booked a different hotel down that had these facilities available. it ruined my entire state and I didn’t even leave my room or even speak to anybody or leave the bed. Never will I ever visit this hotel chain again and I will be very reluctant to make another booking on this site also. For anybody reading this, I suggest you ring up the hotel before making your booking to check all the facilities are available. I feel tricked and misled by this whole experience.

Slightly disappointing that I had to pay extra for parking and extra to use the pool; however the pool was amazing! I like the idea of the self check in, but the machine never recognised me, which meant I needed the receptionist anyway. I’d definitely stay again!

We stayed as a family. The rooms looked like they were in the process of being updated, maybe finish 1 room at a time rather than having mis-matched decor. There was no bedside table to put a drink on which was annoying. The rooms were very clean except some kind of body fluid on the wall. The shower gel and hand wash were mixed up, just a little attention to detail. The breakfast was ok, we arrived at 9 and the cooked items were dry and inedible. Breakfast could be served a bit later as a rush to get to breakfast so not very relaxing. We ordered desert in the bar which was expensive and tasted microwaved and cheap. The staff were all lovely and very polite.

Room was fabulously clean and neat. Water good and hot. Staff were all polite and friendly. A few issues with the coffee machine at breakfast and the overall temperature of the rooms being very hot were the only downsides.

Very basic rooms. No fridge available. Beds ate uncomfortable. Bathroom had no hand wash or body wash - no handset to request anything you must request via webchat with a bot and nothing gets done so you then need to go and find housekeeping. The cot bed had no mattress, requested one and was told there is only 1 member of staff working until 11pm so i must wait for another nember of staff to arrive before my request is fulfilled. There was no mattress so i was given a kingsize duvet to use as a mattress. Bad experience overall.

Requested a bath. Given a small accessible room which was clean but very very tired. Window catch was broken but luckily warm weather. However, heating was on full and also witnessed this in the pub in the hotel too Staff listened but no outcome

Uniform of staff unprofessional, look like someone ready for the gym or had walked in off the street. Problematic check in, 3 attempts to resolve. The check in looked like something from a budget hotel! Given a small dark double room on arrival, where you could only access the bed from one side. Lighting was terrible. Relocated once team member had located manager who must have been on a cigarette break as that’s all I could smell. Finally given another room which was okay but still wouldn’t say it was worth the money. £157 Bed was comfortable, bedding fresh, pillows good. Bathroom clean with fresh towels. Breakfast, had to wait to be seated although 3 members of staff had walked past without acknowledging us. It stated to ask for certain breakfast items, poached/ fried eggs, veggie sausage. All came out on individual plates!!! Scrambled egg laced in pepper and floor staff not attentive, again the uniform is awful. Check out swift.

Long walk to the room dingy corridors and smelt of cigarette smoke. Carpets need renewing and pillows was hard and bed not comfy. Small room and bathroom small no glasses in the bathroom. Hospitality tray not very well equipped. Thin walls making it very noisy. Not worth what we paid for the room allocated. Over priced and outdated!! £100 a night and not including breakfast for the room.

Booked the club room as previously stayed in village hotels and you used to get sky tv and an upgraded coffee machine. Neither available this time. Room looked tired although the bed was very comfortable.

Check in and out was very easy however check in at 3pm and check out at 11am felt rather short. Room was ok but no AC which meant it was quite hot and had to open the window but the noise outside wasn’t great for a good nights sleep. No fridge either which seems a given in most hotels these days. Room was clean and the bed was very large and comfortable with charging points for devices. In summary a budget room at a budget price but no frills.

The room we had was 216, and very close to the disco which was on, the noise was loud, we tried to go to sleep at 2200hrs but was unable to due to the disco then when this finished extremely noisy guest arguing in the hallway and banging doors, we left for home at 0400hrs terrible stay and would like to request a refund please.

Easy to find, decent size car park (£5/night) Automated check-in but with staff on hand. Lift to room. Decor very tired in communal areas. Room size ok, mattress hideously uncomfortable and shower was poor. Food was OK, service could have been friendlier but was efficient. Express checkout was handy

The reception team were amazing at helping me correct a mistake I'd made with my booking. Expedia were very unhelpful initially but after about an hour everything was sorted and I was tucked up in bed. Thank you to everyone who helped me.

A bit annoyed. Made a mistake and booked the week after via hotels.com on a no refund rate. The hotel were inflexible about allowing me to adjust the date on the booking so I had to rebook and pay again. Parking charge of £5 a night was unexpected and unreasonable. Paid for an upgraded room with gym access, but shouldn’t have as you can just pay £5 to access the gym. Breakfast finishes quite early at 9:30am. Buffet was not replenished at 9am and nobody advised you can ask for eggs made to your liking. Rooms freshened up but a bit noisy. Food in restaurant decent but a bit over priced.

If you like a good swimming pool and extra large TV then this hotel ticks those boxes totally. its location is a little remote for drinking and dining options but the in hotel offer is OK. For getting around the outskirts of greater Manchester and the Peak district it is well located as a touring base. The only downside is poor access to public transport for getting to the city centre.

Booked this hotel as was the closest to where we needed to be the next day however was very noisy with very loud music playing due to an event being held. Could here it from our room and had to buy earplugs so we could sleep. Did speak to the manager to see if we could change rooms but this was not possible. He did however agree to a 25% refund because of this.

The hotel is literally a 2 minute walk from the train station which is very handy for those who don't want to stay in Manchester city centre. It's lovely and quiet. Our room was very warm even with heating off and the fan on, I think the pool could've been a little warmer and to provide cups for the fresh water fountain. We didn't eat at the property as I believed the prices to have been a bit high, however there is a Starbucks which is a life saver especially on a hangover. I also think those who stay at the property regardless of having a club room should be entitled to free parking on site. Other than that the hotel was lovely and clean, staff were friendly too.

The disabled parking bays were blatantly abused by people attending to use the gym making it difficult for disabled residents to park in designated places. Some of the breakfast ingredients were inedible e.g. the sausages you needed to sharpen your teeth to be able to eat them. But overall the hotel provided a good quality of service.

It was the first time that we have stayed at the hotel signing in was a little bit difficult ( not so tech savvy) but someone was on hand to put us straight 👍 the room, bed & the shower were all first class at breakfast it was all laid out well and tasted great, if we had to stay here again there wouldn’t be any problems 👍

Easy to check in & out, room was clean and had everything we needed, beds very comfortable. Pool and spa facilities were excellent. Food was amazing! Staff were friendly and welcoming. Will defiantly be back!
