Evidently the shuttle to the casino was no longer offered andwe werenot alertedof this. The cable tv was out the entire time - supposedly because of weather. AND there were several cars parked on the stripes next to the handicap parking.

Pool was closed indefinitely (not mentioned on website). Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers provided were empty. Asked staff for additional cardboard coffee cups and were told they would be delivered to our room. They never came. Air conditioner was amazingly effective. All in all 6/10

The reason for our stay it is because it was my handicapped daughter’s bday, no big deal just a night out relax in the pool and a quiet night, but what happened? I’m staying in room 413, I went to get some ice and the ice room smells like pee, then I go to the pool, get in it and then the security guard informs us that the pool is closed (we’re in the pool) because it hasn’t been cleaned in 3-4 months!! Then they’re false advertising!! They show a pool and a jacuzzi (not in working condition either) when I was at the front desk this afternoon I was informed the pool was in working condition and it was open until 8 for children and until 10 for adults!! I’m very disappointed! And if possible I would like a refund so I can take my daughter somewhere where she can enjoy the working facilities of a normal hotel!!😡😡😡😡

We were excited after a long drive to stop at a hotel casino and enjoy a few hours of fun. The hotel is not attached to the casino and is actually across the street on a separate property.Then,we did not get the non-smoking, queen room that we reserved. The front desk person had an attitude that just because we booked it is not what we get & tried to put us in a smoking room, we refused and ended up with a two double accessible room,. The ice machine did not work on our floor or the floor above us, the hot tub was closed & filled with rocks.

This property is misleading the casino and restaurants are not on the property its across the street down a steep hill, there was no transportation available to get there, the pool they advertised is not open. I had to ask for clean towels 3 times and still didn’t get them I had to grab housekeeping on the third day I was there in the hall! I don’t recommend if your staying there with a 11 year old!

Pool area needs attention as trash and clothing left and jacuzzi filled with rocks but nice outside pool and sitting area. Room were clean and comfortable and staff was excellent (very nice and helpful). Good stay for the price. Felt safe. AC worked great. Will stay again.

Husband had to fix toilet, the jets on Jacuzzi didnt work, the shower was was either freezing or boiling hot, the 1 elevator was broke so we waited for at least 10 minutes and both times elevator was full of staff & their equipment forcing us to wait til some one finally told us that we could use emergency exit stairway, stairyway had a dirty diaper on the landing. Mary was amazing as well as the manager apologized and said that he would be refunding our monies which has not happened as of yet and we checked out on Thursday 3-6-2025

Ameristar Headquarters needs to do a surprise visit to that place! Not recommended looks great on outside, inside not so great. Our floor had a dehumidifier when you get off the elevator it was full of water and shut off the whole 24 hours we were there. Rude front desk people. Couldn’t get extra towel for our room. Didn’t even have bags in the trash cans Shampoo bottle in shower was empty.. Very disappointed in it

Hard NOOOOOOOOO.......First of all, the rooms are a little outdated and NOT as clean as expected. There was dirt in the corners of the bathroom, a slight odor in the room that resembles an old carpet smell, the shower curtain was cream colored with black colored grime/dirt/mildew/mold on it, and the tub needed some cleaning. The only good thing about this hotel stay was that there was a bed to rest for the night after driving 7 hours straight from Houston, TX. I would recommend updating of the rooms from carpet to tile flooring which can be easily mopped with BLEACH, replacing the shower curtains every so many months, and BLEACH to clean the rooms. The condition of the rooms should be unacceptable in 2025.....would NOT recommend!!!! I stayed overnight ONE night and checked out. DO BETTER!!!!!

This property is definitely showing its age. The carpet was dirty and the floor in the bathroom was sticky. The air conditioning was terrible and set by hotel at 71 degrees. The only positive was the sheets were clean. We would never recommend or stay at this hotel again.

Room was disgusting there was something smeared all o we one of the chairs and the floor took a wash rag and wipes it down as I was traveling with 3 kids the white towel was brown after everything was said and done. Thankfully I always have Clorox wipes and had to wipe the entire room down. Looked like it had T been wiped down in a while . Left feeling gross and dirty will never stay here again

Sheets had blood stains on them. Room wasn’t ready until 7:30 pm. I’ll never stay there again. I still have nightmares of turning down the blanket to see blood stains. Ew. Super gross. I know they’re affiliated with the casino (why we stopped on way to beach), so lord knows they have enough money to make improvements. Staff was nice. Not their fault the owners don’t properly maintain the facilities and hire enough staff to thoroughly clean rooms.

The hotel wasn't worth the price. The first room the bed was broken, the second room the gave us, wasn't the best. Cigarette burn on blanket, dirty toliet, the refrigerator was warm and 1/4 toliet paper roll. In the morning they couldn't serve coffee after 10am as their electricity gave out???? We made the wrong turn and ended up at the casino instead (pictured). I’m terrified of boats so seeing this boat looking hotel immediately put me into fear mode. Thankfully it was the casino not the hotel. Upon arriving at the hotel, it looked dark and uninviting. In the lobby, it was also dark but like something from the Shinning. Creepy. Front desk was amazing! Super friendly. However, ice machine was broken on our floor and the one above. And our room didn’t have a microwave. We had to share it with the rest of the guests downstairs. Other than that, it was nice. Good for the price. And the river was across the way near the Casino.

First of all, the front desk ladies were very kind and helpful, so this is not a reflection of them at all. The first room we were given was not ready (dirty linens still waded up on the bed, not cleaned etc). The second room smelled SO strongly of cigarettes and floors were dirty. We considered just dealing with it since it’s only one night but then the TV didn’t work either. Luckily the third room they gave us was just fine. It’s definitely an older hotel but the room didn’t stink and was cleaned and in working order.

Horrible check in. Wait was very long. Couple we were with room was not ready until 1 hr after check in. They had to store their luggage in our room until it was ready. No extra roll of toilet paper. Bed not comfortable. Lobby mirror in waiting room was dirty.

Staff was rude. Property was in disrepair: half the ice machines don’t work which means having to go to a different floor to find ice. There was scat in my room, a little animal turd of some variety. I was afraid to find out where it came from. Also, it’s not at all clear when booking that the hotel is not even on the same side of the street as the casino AND there is no longer a shuttle to the casino. You either have to walk or drive. I walked and I was followed back to my hotel by a shady character named “Memphis.” After that encounter I didn’t leave the safety of the hotel. I even made sure to repark my vehicle (once I knew the coast was clear) to a park of the parking lot that was visible from my room and well lit. I would not recommend staying here if you are a woman traveling alone.

The staff is fantastic! The front desk ladies are one of the main reasons I stay here whenever I go to Vicksburg. The rooms are clean and updated. If you like to gamble the location is perfect. Every casino is within about a mile or so. My favorite and only place I stay in Vicksburg.

3 girls behind the counter at check in. 1 working but I couldn’t hear her because the other 2 girls were so loud in their personal conversation. She asked one of them to swipe the keys for her. She did it but never acknowledged anyone. I just felt like I wasn’t important.

The hotel is not connected to the casino, even though it appears that way in the photos. It is actually blocks away, down a very steep hill. Also, the shuttle to take you there is discontinued, even though in some sites it says a shuttle is available.

I had a couple of complaints. First is that it doesnt say they charge you for a $50 deposit for the room. Ok no big deal its only $50 but they give you no recipt of what you paid which makes it difficult if for some reason you don't get it back. They also make it look like its right up against the water. It says they have coffee and breakfast when in fact they do not have coffee and breakfast. It wasn't worth the $80 it cost when i could have stayed down the street for $50 and got coffee and breakfast

Hotel is not with the casino. No dining available at hotel. Modest coffee bar and vending machines were the only offering. Hotel needs to spend a little money in upkeep but it’s obviously slow for them. Staff was very kind and helpful.

Be aware that all the restaurants and the casino are across the street, not in the hotel. I was traveling on business and was planning to eat in the restaurant I saw online, which I assumed was in the hotel.

Not advertised properly we thought we were staying on the river at the casino NOT on the hill way above the casino. And the restaurants are clised except for weekends the only one open was awful deli Cafe had a Philly cheese steak it was on a sweet bun and had no veggies. The chiken quesadia had no flavor.

We thought that the hotel was at the casino the pictures are deceiving the hotel is up a hill across the street. The casino says it has 3 restaurants only one crappy one was open the cafe don't waste your money there eat somewhere else. The hotel was quiet, older but ok the floor, carpets needes cleaning our socks were dark grey from one day. Overall a ok place to stay. Staff were Excellent

The staff was phenomenal. The bed was very comfortable and we really enjoyed their pillow selection. The room cleaning was average. We found long black hairs on bathroom floor and feet got dirty from walking on the carpet. No hair dryer. No restaurant at the hotel itself - you have to go across the street to the casino. No shuttle to the casino or restaurants. We visited the casino but card games were too complicated and expensive particularly for a slow Wed night. We ended up going to a neighboring casino.

No dining facilities at the Hotel itself. The Casino and Hotel are 2 separate facilities that require a drive between the two. The advertisements are misleading at best, deliberate lies at worst. Hotel bed was lumpy and the room was old and dreary. The front desk clerk was delightful.
