I’ll start with we’ve stayed at this hotel numerous times over the years, probably no more now. Checkin not very friendly and wasn’t told needed VERY specific instructions for room tv. Couldn’t get it to work so asked at desk and told to take a picture of instructions and it still never worked. Asked for wake-up call and it never came. Website shows restaurant but says nothing about bar/restaurant still closed since covid. I had also been told on the phone yes they have both! Shower hot/cold control not working well. Site needs update plus more employee training although night/morning shuttle drivers nice.

The hotel was clean with spacious rooms. It was pretty expensive for what it was though. We decided to spend the money for the proximity to the airport and because it had an indoor pool, but the pool was out of order and we didn’t get to enjoy that.

Handy location relative to the airport and easy walkung distance to a good dinner restaurant. They provided a high quality hot breakfast, free shuttle and quality accomodations. On site laundry with working equipment was appreciated. The indoor pool was clearly fun for the juniors.

The beds are very comfortable. However, there were only sheer curtains on the windows. The lights from the property, street, etc., kept the room from actually getting dark. Or the sun light in the morning out. I thought this very odd especially given the fact we are in Alaska and have 20 hours of daylight in the summer. Also, the pool water was not heated. It was so cold my daughter's lips actually turned blue after about 30 mins of play. We took her back to the room and warmed her up with a warm bath. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was okay.

Pool was open, but water had thick foam on the surface. We didn't use it. Lobby washrooms out of order. TV in room the colour was way off and couldn't be adjusted. Very loud. We were first floor. Everything comes through from floor above.

The staff checking me in was great, perfection even. However, my room was terrible. My room was directly adjacent to the elevator. It also had a foul, terrible smell - like a homeless person lived there. I had to spray perfume, leave the window open (wile it was 20 degrees outside) and leave for a few hours to air it out because it was unbearable. The cleanliness was subpar and the smell had me triple checking the sheets were clean (they were).

The breakfast was delicious! My kids loved the hot chocolate set out anytime. The building and rooms were very clean and inviting. Staff was helpful and friendly. Would 100% recommend!!

PROS: -bed/bath linens appeared clean -airport shuttle quick/convenient -complementary breakfast buffet -large rooms with sleeper sofas for families -luggage storage in lobby CONS: -our room had splashes of some unidentified fluids on the walls/ceilings, stained carpets, moldy bathroom caulking and broken deadbolt on our room door(safety concern). -rooms need general updating like a deep clean, replacing carpet with vinyl flooring, replacing curtains with roller shades, new sleeper sofas. -luggage storage in lobby was not locked. -Definitely not worth the price per night but every hotel in Anchorage seems to be outrageously expensive.

Staff was nice and main beds were clean. Folded out the couch bed at bedtime to find what looked to be a huge wet urine spot on the mattress. The mattress was eventually replaced….with another that had exposed springs in the corner and another huge stain on it (but at least dry). Bathroom tub didn’t drain correctly so you stood in your shower water. Bathroom ceiling covered in mold and exhaust fan nearly blocked with lint.

The staff that checked me in weren’t nasty but I wouldn’t consider them friendly either. The hotel is extremely convenient to the airport. The room was very big, nicely decorated and very clean! I was on the first floor and the landscaping crew worked until after 9 and was loud and I could hear the joining room. I stayed at the same hotel 5 days earlier on the third floor and had no noise issues. I would definetly stay here again.

I had stayed at this hotel a week prior on the 2nd floor and everything was really nice. However, on my way back through Anchorage I got a room on the third floor. The floor in room 316 was really stained and everything just looked dingy. It was ok, but a disappointment after the room on the 2nd floor. It was also noisy

Everything fine in this well tended, very clean place EXCEPT FOR poor insulation between floors and walls. I have impaired hearing, but Overhead footsteps annoying and could hear other guests adjacent due to Thin walls. Typical full fat, full sugar, salty American fare breakfast, nice apple.

During my stay at Comfort Suites Anchorage I had a large comfortable room with a microwave and a refrigerator included. Other standard amenities were also included: TV, iron and blow dryer. The bathroom was big with a full tub/shower and long countertop and I appreciated the strong water pressure in the shower. My king-size bed and bedding was very comfortable. Everything was very clean in my room and also in the lobby. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again.

The room is spacious. The queen beds are wide for two to sleep comfortably in each. Microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker provided. Hot breakfast included. Good internet speed. Laundry facility available. Friendly staff. Excellent hotel. Would recommend.

While the hotel is older, it was clean and comfortable. The staff were amazing starting with the shuttle driver who had to pick us up at 10:00 due to a flight delay. The complimentary breakfast was very good with eggs, sausage, waffles, biscuits, oatmeal, and an assortment of cold cereals and sweet rolls.

They sent the shuttle to pick us up from the airport. Shuttle driver was super friendly and suggested a great restaurant for us to try. He even dropped us off and picked us up later in the evening. The breakfast was also very good and served by very friendly staff.

We had signed up at the desk for an early AM shuttle ride to the airport the evening before. The shuttle is offered to pickup on 15 min. past the hour and 45 min. past the hour. We signed up for 3:15 AM. We arrived at the desk @ exactly 3:15 & there was no shuttle. The desk clerk stated, without looking up from her computer, "The shuttle leaves on time; it is 3:16." She was completely unhelpful. We ordered an Uber, that cost $13 with the tip. The airport is close but there are no sidewalks to enable walking safely. We had selected Comfort Suites d/t proximity to airport & that it had a shuttle. The location otherwise is not good. The website states that there is a restaurant but they no longer have one & there are no restaurants close by.

This hotel does not allow locals to stay there. They should make this statement very bold when booking through 3rd parties so you can save time and money. I’ve never heard of such a thing and the front desk employees could not give me a clear explanation (they didn’t even know). However, they do allow people “40 miles” (e.g., Girdwood or Eagle River residence) away to stay here and not have any issues with them. It doesn’t make sense. I will never recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

We had a late check in. We were given a key the wrong room that was already occupied. We woke up a family in the middle of the night, terrified with strangers walking into their room. It was terrible. Staff explained that they inverted the room number. We were supposed to be in another room, no apology.

Easy access to the airport. The queen beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Good assortment of breakfast items. Large room and staff did get us close to the elevator as we requested. It’s not really close to anything if you are walking, so definitely do door dash or have a car. Felt very safe and in a quite residential area right next to airport. Did not have noise issues either. Would stay here again.

Comfortable generic chain hotel near the airport. Streets leading back to the hotel if you left for, say , gasoline were difficult due to one-way configuration. Difficult to assess value because Anchorage itself is very expensive. Rates were comparable.
