I stayed at Kings Inn for a month while visiting family and friends. The owners and staff are great. Check in was easy. All the rooms are walk out with drive up parking at your door. The room was very clean and comfortable. The property is well maintained. Close to all amenities in town. I highly recommend this property to fellow travelers based on friendly staff, cleanliness, location and price. The Kings Inn is my new "must stay" when in Midland, Ontario.

Parking was safe and good. Heater in the shower does take a minute or two to warm up so let it run for a bit before getting in if you don't like the cold. Other than that everything was really good. They're my go to whenever I need a spot.

This motel never disappoints. I scored it high in eco-friendliness because there are no longer any plastic cups. But there wasn’t a single receptacle for drinking a beverage or water. This is my only criticism, though. Thank you very much for having a super-dooper snow scraper available! Also, you get both a microwave and fridge for just $80 a night. The bed was comfy and everything very clean.

The deposit for the room was crazy high! They need to have at least a coffee maker in the room. The fridge froze my beer. The tub had no plug, there was someone else's hair in the tub when i went to use it, the exhaust fan cover was hanging off the fan, i couldn't find the remote for the tv, find it under the bed, under the night table next to the bed. For the cost of the room and the required deposit, it was very disappointing.

Overall it is a good deal for the price. The rooms have carpet which look dirty and are due for a replacement. Other than that, very clean and nicely kept. The receptionist who greeted us was very nice, the other staff, not so much. Parking is great, very convenient and clean. It’s in the city so most of the amenities are at a walking distance. 4/5

DO NOT STAY HERE! Stay away from this motel. Bed Bugs in Room 125. Disrespectful, degrading, dishonest owner. No sanitization whatsoever. No replacement of fresh bed sheets. No cleaning procedures completed. The maids use old shopping carts to clean rooms that are left outside motel in parking lot. We observed all this in the morning prior to check out. Extremely rude motel owner. Outright lied to me regarding his name, identity and position when I called asking for owner to address my concerns with this trashy motel. He stated that he was a manager named Andy and then during conversation revealed himself to me as actual owner of the motel - fraudulent impersonation! He was completely unprofessional and hung up on me. He refused to listen to my complaint and concern with the bed bug infestation. He had a degrading tone. Absolutely no care for customer service. The motel office was closed and dark at check out at 9:40am. No one responded to my intercom call & message to report bed bug concerns and bites as I left message as per sign on office window. AVOID THIS MOTEL AND BED BUGS AT ALL COSTS!

Have stayed a few times. Rooms always very clean. In particular, the room we had this past night with one queen bed was totally renovated/updated. Other than the older brown comforter on the bed, everything else showed very well. Will return again when we are in town.

Attended weekend Train Show. Economical rate but hard mattress, did not sleep well 1st night, had to take sleeping pill 2nd night for solid sleep. I appreciate they need to cut costs to be competitive. No dresser to store clothes. No in room coffee maker but coffee shop nearby as well as good restaurants. Will likely stay there next year because of price.

The room was clean. The owners were nice. The carpet was new. There were no bedside tables, no hairdryer, no coffeemaker, only one chair, and the small desk was quite scratched.

Fantastic motel. Newly renovated room with walk-in shower and plumbing fixtures. Staff were great, always made sure the snow was removed from our room entrance and parking area. Great location close to shopping and restaurants. 5 stars

While the rooms are small, we were very pleasantly surprised by the comfortable bed and impressive sound-proofing - best quiet sleep we've had in days! The only con was the bath plug missing.

Even though it was an older motel, it was kept clean and updated. Friendly staff as well. Only minor problem was that I had trouble getting the tv to work, but when I went to the office, he immediately came to my room and figured it out for me. Nice and clean and quiet!

It was very close to the restaurants, Tim's Horton The staff was very nice. The room was very clean, which I was very surprised. Usually motels has some sort of smell, but this motel wasn't smelly at all,., nothing to complain about.

We stay here for our annual visit family trip. Great price, always clean, staff very friendly. Fridge and microwave in room but wish coffee machine was also. But there is aTim Hortons 5 minutes away. If your looking for a clean place to stay for a good price and a basic room, I would recommend staying here.

It served the purpose for a place to sleep and not have to pay the exorbitant prices for the hotel chains. We didn’t need to have a breakfast service as we were eating elsewhere. It was good but still pricey.

The girl that checked us in was very friendly. We were able to park outside our room. Tim Horton's was down the street so easy access to breakfast. Location was close to the lawn bowling club which is the reason why we were in Midland. Only suggestion is to put grab bars in the shower.
