Hotel Haven

Bra läge. Fint rum. Centralt men ändå tyst på rummet. Trevlig personal. Frukosten kunde varit bättre. Stort minus för superdyr parkering på 34 Euro/ dygn. Blev dyrt för 3 dagar trots att hotellet ordnade 20 % för parkeringen.

The equipment in the exercise room was antiquated and did not work

Staff were very friendly and helpful, arranging 2 rooms next to each other, one with a cot for a baby. The rooms were spacious and had an armchair and couch. The breakfast buffet, whilst not the most extensive, was more than sufficient. One downside is that it isn't the most accessible hotel I've stayed in. We had a baby in a pram and found it wasn't easy to get around, although on the last day of our stay we did find a lift the wasn't very well sign posted but would have made it easier to get to the breakfast room. I'd definitely recommend the hotel but be aware of accessibility issues.

We have stayed at the Haven a number of times, and it has always been an enjoyable experience. Great location, ever helpful reception team, well appointed and comfortable rooms, a cozy bar to meet friends or colleagues, and the breakfasts always tasty. We’ll be back…

Fint hotell med bra rum. Ingen sauna tyvärr och litet gym. Frukost ligger i anslutning till hotellbyggnaden och var ok men med begränsat utbud.

以前にも一度泊まった事があります。良いホテルですが、朝食レストランが別棟にあり、階段を上がるので、それだけ面倒。

La ubicación es buena para acceder a la Explanadi.El desayuno está en otra parte del hotel, hay que acceder a traves de un patio y hace mucho frio en las mañanas de invierno y hay nieve/hielo en el suelo. El hotel en general está un poco fraccionado, a algunas habitaciones se accede por algunos tramos de escalera, no solo por ascensor.

Great location, clean rooms, in the heart of Helsinki.

Overall it was good and we slept well in the end which is the main thing. However: - We couldn’t use the aircon as it smelled very strongly of sewage - considering the main purpose of a hotel room is to sleep, we were surprised how bright everything was. There seemed to be some kind of safety light in the bathroom which we couldn’t turn off and this illuminated our bedroom, there were glowing lights on the light switches, light came in past the edges of the curtains and the fire exit sign had a very bright glow - so difficult to sleep - despite having a bathtub, there were no taps to fill the bath! Meaning we had to fill the bath from the showerhead which took 30mins and by that time, the water had cooled, also not very eco-friendly as we had to run the shower for 30mins. - the shower head also leaned to one side meaning the floor was wet everytime

This is a standard city hotel with a fantastic location. Should not be more than 3 star. The toiletries are very good. Mattress was okay, but pillows very soft. Breakfast was below average continental spread and you have to pay extra for hot food. House keeping poor and there was a foul smell from sewer as soon as you enter the room and this was eventually sorted on our last day of stay. Staff at Reception was helpful.

The location is great and the beds are comfortable, but housekeeping and service are 3 star level. Housekeeping forgot to clean up from previous guest, forgot to refill mini bar and forgot various times to provide information that was asked for. The worst was the unfriendly faces from the personal at the breakfast and front desk. Despite the amazing location -overall very disappointing considering a 5 star property. Would not book again.

Staff at the front desk are very helpful. Very clean room and bathroom. It’s very quiet and most of all it’s convenient to al the stores, attractions and restaurants. I will definitely stay again at Hotel when I return to Finland next year.

Sehr gute Lage, gutes Frühstück in wunderbaren, historischen Räumen, großes Zimmer. Leider waren die Fenstern nicht zu öffnen! Teppichboden war verschmutzt.

Wonderful,relaxing stay. Beds very comfortable. Clean and quiet rooms. Breakfast has a wide selection and caters for gluten and dairy intolerances. Excellent location near Old Market.

Centrally located in city which allowed easy access to siteseeing by foot. Many restaurants are also close. Room is large and bed is comfortable.

The hotel Haven is a lovely hotel at the waterfront of Helsinki, and near the market. I would highly recommend the food hall right across the street in the old historic building, however, it is only open at lunchtime and not for dinner. I had both a Superior and a Grande Deluxe room. The grand deluxe room is bigger and has an extra sofa. It also has a beautiful bathroom with a large shower and no bathtub. If you prefer a bath tub, as I do, then you may be better off in the less expensive superior room. The only other significant difference with the two rooms is that you have an Espresso maker in the grand deluxe, and only a kettle in the superior room. I will add that my grand deluxe room was quieter because it faced the courtyard whereas the superior room was facing the street and I could hear some noise from the trucks going by.. I was at the hotel for two nights on a group tour and breakfast was included. The breakfast was very nice. I also came a day early before my group tour, and that is why I had the grand deluxe room. I checked in on a Saturday night and the hotel Haven website indicates that you are entitled to Sunday brunch if you stay over on a Saturday night. However, they would not honour that and said that because I booked through Expedia, I would have to pay extra for the brunch. This did not seem fair to me and I think that it should be clearly stated both on there I Prefer website and on the Expedia website.

Staff were very pleasant and nice. The area location was also very convenient. The room was a bit outdated and looks a bit more rundown than in pictures.

The hotel has a brilliant location, right on the harbour. You can walk to pretty much any musuem within 20 minutes. Breakfast is amazing and the restaurant itself is stunning, with great harbour views. The rooms are big, with great bathrooms. My room had a couch and lounge area. The internet was very good - especially since I had meetings I had to attend. My only complaint is that the rooms can be a little on the dark side - I wish they were a bit brighter from a lighting perspective. But this is a very minor complaint and would absolutely recommend staying here.

The room was very pleasant and surprisingly even with my horrific jet lag, instead of tossing and turning I had a wonderful sleep on the most comfortable mattress. The staff were super friendly and I had a lovely breakfast in a lovely space. If I ever return to Helsinki, I would want to stay there again.

4-star facility not 5-star. Good location, good breakfast. I was disappointed with the room. This was one of, perhaps only 10 rooms, in the relatively large hotel that had absolutely no view. Many rooms face the harbor, some have street view, not mine. This was a "Prime Superior" room. I felt I was "downgraded" instead of "upgraded" because I booked through Expedia. Check before you book what type of room you will get.

Very large and comfortable rooms bathrooms. Excellent location in the heart of the city, restaurants, and many attractions.

The registration staff was great in helping us in our airport issue. The rooms are nice and the linen are yummy.

The staff stole a jacket from me from my room. Absolutely terrible.

It was a very short stay, one night only but a local friend highly recommended it and so I decided to try it. The room was very pleasant and surprisingly even with my horrific jet lag, instead of tossing and turning I had a wonderful sleep on the most comfortable mattress. The staff were super friendly and I had a lovely breakfast in a lovely space. If I ever return to Helsinki, I would want to stay there again.

Very nice Hotel. Not Happy I was not offered a free upgrade as MANY of the Expedia affiliated hotels offer (The hotel and City is off season now) and I know there were rooms available. But were quick sell me me an upgrade at €100 a night! NOT HAPPY. The young lady (She knows who she is) was arrogant to say the least. If you don’t for help with your luggage forget it. The second day I was at the hotel and elder woman was struggling with her suitcases because there are stairs and the staff saw it and did nothing. I saw this and I helped even though less 2 years ago I had extensive spine surgery. Other than these issues it’s a beautiful hotel with great amenities and FANTASTIC BREAKFAST buffet.

Great location on the water in downtown Helsinki. Easy walking distance to many restaurants, parks, market, boat tours, etc. Nice decor, friendly staff. Parking garage was 'interesting'...

場所、スタッフの応対、満足です。 朝食も美味しかったです。 旅行慣れしていないこともあり、サラダにドレッシングがないことに気づきました。 オリーブオイルや塩胡椒は準備してあったのに、スタッフの方、感じ良く代替えを提案してくださいました。 旅行前急遽1人追加になり、問合せ。メール後すぐ返信もくださり、エキストラベット、1台50€追加で１部屋に3人で泊まることができました。 ただシャワーが、日本の様にカーテンが無く、トイレは広かったですが足元ビシャビシャに濡れてしまい、タオル沢山使ってしまいました。 学習しました。申し訳ありませんでした。 ロケーションは最高で、港、飲食、楽しい旅行となりました。 また利用したいと思います。 ありがとうございました。

Very nice and spacious room with excellent bathroom. Nice lobby bar with great service. Breakfast needs to be redesigned. The system with different time slots did not work. Everyone arriving at the same time caused long waiting times and food shortages. Also the service at the breakfast was not up to the general standard’s of the hotel.

Das Hotel hat eine tolle Lage direkt am Hafen, man kann sehr viel zu Fuß machen. Für ein 5-Sterne Hotel gibt es aber einige Punkte, die ich besser erwartet hätte. Es gibt Abends keine Küche mehr, also keinen Zimmerservice und auch in der Bar gibt es nichts zu essen bis auf ein paar Chips. Das Frühstück ist immer das gleiche, und es gibt viele Dinge (z.B. Waffeln, diverse Smoothies, Omelette), die man extra bezahlen muss. In einem Hotel dieser Klasse hätte ich das als reguläre Bestandteile des Frühstücks erwartet.
